Hierfür hat sich der Einsatz von mobilen Arbeitsstationen bewährt. Mobile Arbeitsstationen sind in vielen Fällen fahrbare Regalsysteme, auf denen die benötigten Werkzeuge oder Elektrogeräte gelagert und mitgeführt werden.
Häufig besteht bei diesen mobilen Arbeitsstationen der Nachteil, dass die Anschlusskabel der elektrischen Geräte, die auf der Arbeitsstation gelagert werden, von dem Regalsystem herunterfallen und auf dem Boden schleifen.
