Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Plasmavorrichtung mit einer ersten und einer zweiten Kammer nach Anspruch 1, eine Plasmavorrichtung nach Anspruch 13 sowie eine Steuereinheit nach Anspruch 14.
- Das technische Gebiet der vorliegenden Anmeldung liegt insbesondere im Bereich der nicht thermischen Plasmen (NTP), auch kalten Plasmen genannt. Gegenüber thermischen Plasmen, auch heißen Plasmen genannt, ist die Gastemperatur bei nicht thermischen Plasmen deutlich geringer und liegt im Wesentlichen bei Raumtemperatur. NTP werden oft bei Atmosphärendruck gezündet. Häufig verwendete Atmosphärendruckplasmaquellen sind beispielsweise Plasmajets oder Vorrichtungen, bei denen das Plasma mittels dielektrisch behinderten Entladungen gezündet wird.
- Auf Grund der geringen Temperatur können mit NTP auch wärmeempfindliche Oberflächen behandelt werden. Mögliche Anwendungsgebiete sind beispielsweise die Oberflächenfunktionalisierung/-aktivierung thermolabiler Materialien. Thermolabile Materialien werden beispielsweise bei biomedizinischen Anwendungen verwendet. Während vielmals sauerstoffbasierte NTP verwendet werden, um beispielsweise eine bessere Benetzbarkeit der Oberfläche zu erreichen, ist auch der Einsatz stickoxidbasierter Plasmen von Interesse, etwa um stickstoffhaltige funktionelle Gruppen zu erzeugen, welche dann kompatibel zu organischen Molekülen wie DNS sind.
- Ein anderes Anwendungsgebiet von NTPs ist die Plasmamedizin, z. B. zur Behandlung von Wunden, wie z. B. chronischer und/oder postoperativer Wunden, aber auch die Behandlung von Verbrennungen, Abschürfungen, Augen- und Schleimhautinfektionen usw. Darüberhinaus ist auch ein Einsatz zur Desinfektion, Faltenbehandlung und/oder anderer kosmetischer Behandlungen denkbar.
- Wiederum ein anderes Anwendungsgebiet für NTP dient zur biologischen Dekontamination von Oberflächen, beispielsweise medizinischer Geräte, oder zur Erzeugung chemischer Spezies in Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen. In der Veröffentlichung Machala, Zdenko, Karol Hensel, and Yuri Akishev, eds. Plasma for bio-decontamination, medicine and food security. Springer, 2012 wurden nach der Plasmabehandlung von Flüssigkeiten mit einem NTP die Spezies H2O2, NO2- und NO3- in Flüssigkeiten nachgewiesen. Die Konzentration der Stickstoffspezies korreliert hier mit der Anzahl der Stickstoffspezies, welche im Plasma gebildet werden.

DE 10 2007 043 291 A1 undJP 2005 015850 A - NTP-Quellen erzeugen typischerweise eine sauerstoffbasierte Chemie. Atomarer Sauerstoff und Ozon sind die am häufigsten gebildeten Spezies. Für oben genannte Anwendungen ist es jedoch von Interesse auch eine stickoxidbasierte Plasmachemie bei niedriger Temperatur erzeugen zu können.
- Klassischerweise wird Stickstoffmonoxid (NO) in der Gasphase über den Zeldovich-Mechanismus (1), (2), bzw. den erweiterten Zeldovich-Mechanismus (1) bis (3) erzeugt, gemäß den Reaktionen :
O + N2 ↔ NO + N, (1)
N + O2 ↔ NO + O, und (2)
N + OH ↔ NO + H. (3)
- Dieser Mechanismus ist vor allem bei hohen Temperaturen (> 2000 K) relevant. Anwendungen mit kalten, stickoxidbasierten Plasmen werden deshalb im Stand der Technik bisher realisiert, in dem heiße Plasmen erzeugt und über kurze Strecken stark abgekühlt werden. Dieses ist mit erheblichem technischem Aufwand verbunden, da neben der eigentlichen Plasmaquelle eine leistungsfähige Kühleinheit benötigt wird. Darüberhinaus ist wegen der zusätzlichen Kühlleistung die Gesamtenergieeffizienz der Plasmaquelle gering.
- Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es deshalb, ein verbessertes Verfahren und eine verbesserte Vorrichtung zur Bereitstellung eines kalten, stickoxidbasierten Plasmas bereitzustellen, das/die aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Nachteile überwindet.
- Die vorstehende Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch das Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Plasmavorrichtung mit einer ersten und einer zweiten Kammer nach Anspruch 1, eine Plasmavorrichtung nach Anspruch 13 sowie eine Steuereinheit nach Anspruch 14 gelöst. Gegenstände nach den abhängigen Unteransprüchen beschreiben bevorzugte Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung.
- Ein erster Aspekt der Erfindung betrifft Verfahren zum Betreiben einer Plasmavorrichtung mit einer ersten Kammer und einer zweiten Kammer, wobei das Verfahren die folgenden Schritte aufweist, nämlich ein Einleiten eines Stickstoff, Sauerstoff, Wasser, Wasserstoff und/oder zumindest ein Edelgas umfassendes ersten Gasgemisches in die erste Kammer, ein Ionisieren des ersten Gasgemisches in der ersten Kammer zum Erzeugen eines ersten kalten Plasmas oder eines zweiten Gasgemisches, ein Einleiten des in der ersten Kammer erzeugten ersten kalten Plasmas oder zweiten Gasgemisches und eines dritten, vom ersten Gasgemisch verschiedenen Gasgemisches in die zweite Kammer, so dass sich in der zweiten Kammer das dritte Gasgemisch mit dem ersten kalten Plasma oder dem zweiten Gasgemisch mischen und zu einem vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisch reagieren.
- Ein zweiter Aspekt der Erfindung betrifft eine Plasmavorrichtung zum Erzeugen eines Plasmas, insbesondere eines kalten Atmosphärendruckplasmas, wobei die Vorrichtung die folgenden Merkmale aufweist, nämlich eine erste Kammer zum Erzeugen eines ersten kalten Plasmas oder eines zweiten Gasgemisches, wobei die erste Kammer zumindest einem Einlass für ein Stickstoff, Sauerstoff, Wasser, Wasserstoff und/oder zumindest ein Edelgas umfassendes erstes Gasgemisch und zumindest einem Auslass für das erste kalte Plasma oder das zweite Gasgemisch aufweist, eine zweite Kammer, wobei die zweite Kammer zumindest einem ersten Einlass für das in der ersten Kammer erzeugt erste kalte Plasma oder das zweite Gasgemisch, einen zweiten Einlass für ein drittes Gasgemisch, und einem Auslass aufweist, wobei sich in der zweiten Kammer das dritte Gasgemisch mit dem ersten kalten Plasma oder dem zweiten Gasgemisch mischen und zu einem vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisch reagieren.
- Ein dritter Aspekt der Erfindung betrifft eine Steuereinheit zum Steuern einer Plasmavorrichtung nach dem zweiten Aspekt der Erfindung, wobei die Steuereinheit und die Plasmavorrichtung konfiguriert sind, das Verfahren nach dem ersten Aspekt der Erfindung auszuführen.
- Im Folgenden wird das Konzept der Erfindung beispielhaft - ohne dabei einschränkend zu sein - beschrieben. Gemäß dem Konzept der Erfindung umfasst die Plasmavorrichtung eine erste Kammer und eine, der ersten Kammer nachgelagerte oder nachgeschaltete zweite Kammer. Die erste Kammer und zweite Kammer werden mit unterschiedlichen Gasgemischen gefüllt und derart angesteuert, dass eine gewünschte reaktive Spezies, insbesondere ein stickoxidbasiertes, nicht-thermisches Plasma, erzeugt und bereitgestellt wird. Die gezielte Erzeugung von reaktiven Spezies wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch erreicht, dass die Dissoziations- und Rekombinationsprozesse getrennt in zwei aufeinanderfolgenden Reaktionskammern, nämlich einer ersten und einer zweiten Kammer, ausgeführt werden. Hierbei wird dann bevorzugt in der ersten Kammer ein erstes kaltes Plasma erzeugt, welches dann in die zweite Kammer eingeleitet wird, dort mit einem weiteren Gasgemisch gemischt wird und zu einem zweiten kalten Plasma reagiert
- In einer Ausführungsform wird in der ersten Kammer durch Zugabe von N2 und/oder 02 und H2O das gewünschte NO gebildet wird und in der zweiten Kammer die Rekombinationsprozesse von NO gesteuert werden. Diese Ausführungsform nutzt aus, dass im Nichtgleichgewichtsplasmen atomarer Sauerstoff O und atomarer Stickstoff N auch bei niedrigen Temperaturen durch Dissoziation von O2 und N2 durch die Reaktionen

erzeugt werden. Hierbei bezeichnet P eine "Plasma-Spezies" die genügend Energie aufbringt um die Dissoziation zu bewirken. Insbesondere handelt es sich um schnelle Elektronen oder um angeregte Edelgas-Zustände. Der atomare Sauerstoff bildet bei niedrigen Temperaturen zusammen mit molekularem Sauerstoff Ozon über die Reaktion
O + O2 + M → O3 + M, (6)
wobei M ein beliebiger dritter Stoßpartner ist. Sowohl O als auch O3 führen dazu, dass gebildetes NO in Atmosphärendruckplasmaquellen schnell in NO2 umgewandelt wird, gemäß den Reaktionen
NO + O + M → NO2 + M, und (7)
NO + O3 → NO2 + O2. (8)
- Das gebildete NO2 wird weiter in zwei Schritten zu N2O5 umgewandelt, gemäß
NO2 + O3 → NO3 + O2, und (9)
NO2 + NO3 + M → N2O5 + M. (10)
- Zur Vermeidung der Ozon-Produktion können die Reaktionen (6) bis (9) unterbunden werden, in dem Wasser in das Plasma eingebracht wird, welches im Plasma durch die Reaktion
P + H2O → OH + H + P (11)
dissoziiert. H reagiert schnell mit O2 zu HO2:
H + O2 → HO2. (12)
- Die beiden Produkte HO2 und OH entfernen effektiv O aus dem Plasma durch die Reaktionen
OH + O → O2 + H, (13)
HO2 + O → OH + O2, (14)
was in der Folge die Produktion von 03, NO2, NO3 und N2O5 unterbindet. - Gemäß einer Ausführungsform wird in der ersten Kammer durch die Zugabe von N2 und optional auch O2 und H2O das gewünschte NO gebildet und in der zweiten Kammer können die Rekombinationsprozesse von NO gesteuert werden. Im Folgenden werden drei bevorzugte Beispiele ein drittes Gasgemisch aufgeführt:
- 1. Bei reinem Stickstoff als drittes Gasgemisch wird in großer Menge NO erzeugt. Durch Reaktion mit OH wird zudem HNO2 gebildet.
- 2. Bei einem Gemisch aus O2 und N2 für das dritte Gasgemisch mit geringem O2 Anteil, wird mehr NO2 gebildet. Durch Reaktion mit NO2 bildet sich zudem HNO3. In geringen Mengen auch O3, NO3 und N2O5.
- 3. Bei einem Gemisch aus O2 und N2 für das dritte Gasgemisch mit geringem N2 Anteil wird überwiegend Ozon erzeugt, weiterhin jedoch auch NO2, NO3 und N2O5.
- Gemäß einer weiteren Ausführungsform wird in der ersten Kammer durch Zugabe von bis zu 3 % molekularem Wasserstoff durch Dissoziation atomarer Wasserstoff erzeugt. In der zweiten Kammer kann durch Zugabe von Sauerstoff nach Reaktion (12) Hydroperoxyl (HO2) erzeugt werden.
- Diese und weitere Ausführungsbeispiele sind Gegenstand der Unteransprüche und gestalten die Erfindung in vorteilhafter Weise aus.
- Eine bevorzugte Ausgestaltungsform betrifft ein Verfahren, dass zusätzlich den folgenden Schritt aufweist, nämlich ein Ausströmen lassen eines zweiten kalten Plasmas oder des vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisches aus der Plasmavorrichtung. Hierbei wird das in der zweiten Kammer erzeugte zweite kalte Plasma oder das vierte, reaktive Stickoxid enthaltende Gasgemisch aus der Plasmavorrichtung herausgeführt, so dass es von einem Nutzer/Anwender verwendet werden kann.
- Bevorzugt sieht eine Ausgestaltung vor, dass die erste Kammer mit einer Gasmischung aus Stickstoff, Sauerstoff, Wasser und/oder einem oder mehrere Edelgase, wie z. B. Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton und/oder Xenon, gefüllt ist.
- Eine bevorzugte Weiterbildung sieht vor, dass eine Zusammensetzung des ersten Gasgemisches mit wenigstens 90 % zumindest eines Edelgases und/oder Stickstoff, bis zu 3 % Wasser und bis zu 7 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches gebildet ist. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung kann das erste Gasgemisch also entweder zu 90 % mit einem reinen Edelgas oder Edelgasgemischen oder zu 90 % mit reinem Stickstoff oder zu 90 % mit einer Mischung eines Edelgases und Stickstoff gebildet sein.
- Eine andere Weiterbildung sieht vor, dass eine Zusammensetzung des ersten Gasgemisches mit wenigstens 90 % zumindest eines Edelgases und/oder Sauerstoff und bis zu 10 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches gebildet ist. Bei dieser Ausgestaltung kann das erste Gasgemisch also entweder zu 90 % mit einem reinen Edelgas oder Edelgasgemischen oder zu 90 % mit reinem Sauerstoff oder zu 90 % mit einer Mischung eines Edelgases und Sauerstoff gebildet sein.
- Wiederum eine andere Weiterbildung sieht vor, dass eine Zusammensetzung des ersten Gasgemisches mit wenigstens 90 % zumindest eines Edelgases und/oder Sauerstoff, bis zu 3 % Wasserstoff und bis zu 7 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches gebildet ist. Auch bei dieser Ausgestaltung kann das erste Gasgemisch also entweder zu 90 % mit einem reinen Edelgas oder Edelgasgemischen oder zu 90 % mit reinem Sauerstoff oder zu 90 % mit einer Mischung eines Edelgases und Sauerstoff gebildet sein.
- Bei einer vorteilhaften Ausgestaltung kann vorgesehen sein, dass das dritte Gasgemisch molekularen Sauerstoff und/oder molekularen Stickstoff und/oder ein Edelgas umfasst. Bei dieser Ausgestaltungsform wird in die zweite Kammer bevorzugt eine Mischung aus molekularen Stickstoff und/oder Sauerstoff eingebracht. Durch gezielte Steuerung des Mischungsverhältnisses der molekularen Gase in der ersten und zweiten Kammer können bevorzugt Reaktionspfade ausgewählt werden, die sonst aufgrund kleiner Reaktionskonstanten keine oder eine untergeordnete Rolle spielen.
- Eine bevorzugte Weiterbildung sieht hierbei vor, dass eine Zusammensetzung des dritten Gasgemisches zumindest 80 % molekularen Stickstoff und/oder ein Edelgas und 20 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches umfasst.
- Eine andere bevorzugte Weiterbildung sieht dagegen vor, dass eine Zusammensetzung des dritten Gasgemisches zumindest 80 % molekularen Sauerstoff und/oder ein Edelgas und 20 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches umfasst.
- Eine Weiterbildung kann vorsehen, dass beim Einleiten des dritten Gasgemisches in die zweite Kammer abwechselnd molekularer Sauerstoff oder molekularer Stickstoff als drittes Gasgemisch verwendet wird. Insbesondere ermöglicht diese Ausgestaltungsform ein Schalten zwischen sauerstoffbasierter und stickstoffbasierter Plasmachemie während des laufenden Betriebs der Plasmaquelle.
- Bevorzugt sieht eine Ausgestaltung vor, dass das Verfahren für die Behandlung von biologischen Oberflächen, insbesondere Wunden, Verbrennungen, Abschürfungen, aber auch Wucherungen und Tumore, Augen- und/oder Schleimhäuten oder dergleichen, oder für Bearbeitung von technischen Oberflächen, insbesondere thermolabilen Oberflächen und/oder zur Erzeugung chemischer Spezies in Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen geeignet ist.
- Bei einer zweckmäßigen Ausgestaltung kann vorgesehen sein, dass die erste Kammer ausgebildet ist, das erste Gasgemisch in der ersten Kammer mittels einer Energiezufuhr, insbesondere mittels eines elektrischen und/oder elektromagnetischen Feldes, zu ionisieren. Hierbei wird das Plasma durch eine äußere Energiezufuhr erzeugt, wobei für die Energiezufuhr verschiedene Methoden vorgesehen sind, beispielswiese thermische, chemische und /oder nukleare Anregung. Technisch relevanter sind jedoch die Anregungen durch elektrostatische und/oder elektromagnetische Felder. Hierfür ist beispielsweise eine Mikrohohlkathodenentladung, ein Plasma-Jet mit zumindest einer stab- oder nadelförmigen Elektrode oder eine dielektrisch behinderte Entladung zur Plasmaerzeugung vorgesehen.
- Elektrostatische Felder führen dabei zu Entladungen und/oder zu Vorentladungen des Gasgemisches in der ersten Kammer, wobei weitere Ionen durch ElektronenStoßionisation erzeugt werden. Bevorzugt wird hierbei zwischen zwei Elektroden eine ausreichend hohe elektrische Gleichspannung angelegt. Bei geeigneter Kombination von Spannung, Elektrodenabstand und Gasdruck zündet dann das Plasma. Bei der Anregung mittels elektromagnetischer Felder werden die Ladungsträger durch eine Elektronenstoßionisation erzeugt. Hierbei wird beispielsweise ein hinreichend starkes elektrisches Wechselfeld an zwei Platten angelegt. Ebenfalls denkbar ist die Anregung mittels eines hochfrequenten Wechselstroms, der durch eine Anregungsspule um die erste Kammer fließt und mittels magnetischer Wechselfelder eine Induktive (magnetische) Anregung erzeugt und das Plasma zündet.
- Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung kann vorsehen, dass die zweite Kammer ausgebildet ist, dem zweiten kalten Plasma oder dem vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisch in der zweiten Kammer weiter Energie zu zuführen, insbesondere mittels eines elektrischen oder elektromagnetischen Feldes. Hierbei ist die zweite Kammer dann konfiguriert, dem enthaltenen Gasgemisch, Energie zu zuführen. Diese kann beispielsweise mittels elektrostatischer und/oder elektromagnetischer Felder und oder mit Hilfe von thermischer und/oder chemischer Anregung von Außen durchgeführt werden.
- Ausführungsbeispiele der Erfindung werden nachfolgend anhand der Figuren beschrieben. Diese sollen die Ausführungsbeispiele nicht notwendigerweise maßstäblich darstellen, vielmehr sind die Figuren in schematischer und/oder leicht verzerrter Form ausgeführt. Die in der Beschreibung, in den Figuren sowie in den Ansprüchen offenbarten Merkmale können sowohl einzeln als auch in beliebiger Kombination für die Realisierung der Erfindung wesentlich sein. Hierbei sind identische und/oder ähnliche Merkmale mit identischer oder ähnlicher Funktion, dort wo sinnvoll, mit gleichen Bezugszeichen versehen. Weitere Vorteile, Merkmale und Einzelheiten der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung der bevorzugten Ausführungsbeispiele sowie anhand der Figuren.

Fig. 1 zeigt eine schematische Darstellung einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform für eine Plasmavorrichtung 1 zur Erzeugen eines kalten Atmosphärendruckplasmas. Die dargestellte Plasmavorrichtung 1 umfasst eine erste Kammer 2 mit zumindest einem Einlass 2.1 und zumindest einem Auslass 2.2. Über den Einlass 2.1 wird ein erstes Gasgemisch 4 in die erste Kammer 2 eingeleitet, wobei die erste Kammer 2 konfiguriert ist, in ihrem Inneren ein erstes kaltes Plasma 4.1 oder ein zweites Gasgemisch 4.2 aus dem ersten Gasgemisch 4 zu erzeugen. - Weiterhin umfasst die Plasmavorrichtung 1 eine zweite Kammer 3, die der ersten Kammer 2 nachgeschaltet ist, und die zumindest einen ersten Einlass 3.1, zumindest einen zweiten Einlass 3.2 und zumindest einen Auslass 3.3 aufweist. Der erste Einlass 3.1 der zweiten Kammer 3 steht mit dem Auslass 2.2 der ersten Kammer 2 in Verbindung, so dass das in der ersten Kammer 2 erzeugte erste kalte Plasma 4.1 oder zweite Gasgemisch 4.2 in die zweite Kammer 3 geleitet werden kann. Darüberhinaus wird über den zweiten Einlass 3.2 der zweiten Kammer 3 ein drittes Gasgemisch 5 in die zweite Kammer 3 geleitet. In der zweiten Kammer 3 mischen sich die verschiedenen Gasgemische, wobei das dritte Gasgemisch 5 mit dem ersten kalten Plasma 4.1 oder dem zweiten Gasgemisch 4.2 zu einem vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisch 6.2 reagiert.
- Ein in der zweiten Kammer 3 zusätzlich gebildetes zweites kaltes Plasma 6.1 oder das vierte, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltende Gasgemisch 6.2 wird dann über den Auslass 3.3 der zweiten Kammer 3 ausgelassen.
- Die in der
Fig. 1 gezeigt Plasmavorrichtung 1 umfasst weiterhin eine Steuereinheit 7 zum Steuern und Betreiben der Plasmavorrichtung 1. Die Steuereinheit 7 ist mit einem Hochspannungsgenerator 8 steuertechnisch verbunden, wobei der Hochspannungsgenerator 8 konfiguriert ist, mit Hilfe mindestens einer ersten Elektrode 9.1 und mindestens einer zweiten Elektrode 9.2, insbesondere einer Ringelektrode, das erste Gasgemisch 5 im Inneren der ersten Kammer 2 zu ionisieren, und ein Plasma zu erzeugen. Hierbei wird mittels Energiezufuhr, insbesondere mittels eines elektrischen und/oder elektromagnetischen Feldes, das erste Gasgemisch 5 ionisiert. Vorliegend dargestellt wird hierfür eine stab- oder nadelförmige Elektrode im Innereren der ersten Kammer verwendet. Die stab- oder nadelförmige Elektrode ist durch ein Dielektrikum 9.3 von zweiten Elektrode 9.2 insbesondere einer Ringelektrode, getrennt, so dass beim Anlegen einer Spannung zwischen der ersten und zweiten Elektroden 9.1 und 9.2 eine dielektrisch behinderte Entladung zur Plasmaerzeugung dient. - Bei der Anregung mittels eines elektromagnetischen Feldes werden die Ladungsträger durch eine Elektronenstoßionisation erzeugt. Hierbei wird beispielsweise ein hinreichend starkes elektrisches Wechselfeld zwischen den Elektroden angelegt. Ebenfalls denkbar ist die Anregung mittels eines hochfrequenten Wechselstroms, der durch eine Anregungsspule (nicht dargestellt) um die erste Kammer fließt und mittels magnetischer Wechselfelder eine induktive (magnetische) Anregung erzeugt und das Plasma zündet.
- Die Steuereinheit 7 ist neben der Energiezufuhr weiterhin konfiguriert, einen (vor)bestimmten Gasdruck in der ersten und zweiten Kammer, beispielsweise über die Ansteuerung weiterer Steuereinheiten 10 und 11, einzustellen, so dass das Plasma zündet. Die weiteren Steuereinheiten 10 und 11 sind konfiguriert, mit der Steuereinheit 7 steuertechnisch zusammen zuarbeiten, so dass ein von der Steuereinheit 7 vorgegebener Gasdruck und/oder eine Flussrate für das erste und dritte Gasgemisch 4 und 5, eingestellt werden können.
- Die in der
Fig. 1 dargestellte Plasmavorrichtung 1 ist nicht auf die dargestellte geometrische Form/Anordnung für die erste und zweite Kammer beschränkt. Alternative Form für die Plasmavorrichtung und/oder Kammern, beispielsweise runde, elliptische, ovale, quadratische Formen oder dergleichen, sind ebenfalls vorgesehen. Auch die Ausgestaltung der Übergänge zwischen den Kammern, also die jeweiligen Einlässe und Auslässe, zwischen und von der ersten und zweiten Kammer 2 und 3 sind nicht auf die dargestellte Ausführungsform beschränkt. Andere Formen und geometrische Anordnungen sind möglich und vorgesehen. -
Fig. 2 zeigt ein Flussdiagram für eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform eines Verfahrens 20 zum Betreiben einer Plasmavorrichtung mit einer ersten Kammer und einer zweiten Kammer, wie sie beispielsweise in derFig. 1 dargestellt und beschrieben ist. - Das dargestellte Verfahren 20 umfasst dabei die folgenden Schritte. Zunächst wird ein erstes Gasgemisch in die erste Kammer eingeleitet 21. In der ersten Kammer wird das erste Gasgemisch dann zur Erzeugung eines ersten kalten Plasmas oder eines zweiten Gasgemisches ionisiert 22. Anschließend wird das in der ersten Kammer erzeugte erste kalte Plasma oder zweite Gasgemisch und ein drittes, vom ersten Gasgemisch verschiedenes Gasgemisch in die zweite Kammer geleitet 23, so dass sich in der zweiten Kammer das dritte Gasgemisch mit dem ersten kalten Plasma oder dem zweiten Gasgemisch mischen und zu einem vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisch reagieren.
- Anschließend wird das in der zweiten Kammer erzeugte vierte, reaktive Stickoxid enthaltende Gasgemisch aus der Plasmavorrichtung herausgeführt bzw. ausgeströmt 24, so dass es von einem Nutzer/Anwender verwendet werden kann.
- Das derart bereitgestellte vierte, reaktive Stickoxid enthaltende Gasgemisch kann zur Behandlung von biologischen Oberflächen, insbesondere Wunden, Verbrennungen, Abschürfungen, aber auch Wucherungen und Tumoren, Augen- und/oder Schleimhäuten oder dergleichen, sowie für die Bearbeitung von technischen Oberflächen, insbesondere thermolabilen Oberflächen als auch für die Erzeugung chemischer Spezies in Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen verwendet werden.

Claims (14)
- Verfahren (20) zum Betreiben einer Plasmavorrichtung (1) zum Erzeugen eines kalten stickoxidbasierten Atmosphärendruckplasmas mit einer ersten Kammer (2) und einer zweiten Kammer (3), wobei das Verfahren (20) die folgenden Schritte aufweist:- Einleiten (21) eines Stickstoff, Sauerstoff, Wasser, Wasserstoff und/oder zumindest ein Edelgas umfassenden ersten Gasgemisches (4) in die erste Kammer (2),- Ionisieren (22) des ersten Gasgemisches (4) in der ersten Kammer (2) zum Erzeugen eines ersten kalten Plasmas (4.1) oder eines zweiten Gasgemisches (4.2),- Einleiten (23) des in der ersten Kammer (2) erzeugten ersten kalten Plasmas (4.1) oder zweiten Gasgemisches (4.2) und eines dritten, vom ersten Gasgemisch (4) verschiedenen Gasgemisches (5) in die zweite Kammer (3), so dass sich in der zweiten Kammer (3) das dritte Gasgemisch (5) mit dem ersten kalten Plasma (4.1) oder dem zweiten Gasgemisch (4.2) mischen und zu einem vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisch (6.2) reagieren, wobei die Oxidationsstufe des Stickstoffs in dem reaktiven Stickoxids über eine Zusammensetzung des dritten Gasgemisches (5) mittels einer Steuereinheit (7) steuerbar ist.
- Verfahren (20) nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verfahren (20) zusätzlich den folgenden Schritt aufweist:- Ausströmen (24) lassen eines zweiten kalten Plasmas (6.1) oder des vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisches (6.2) aus der Plasmavorrichtung (1).
- Verfahren (20) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Zusammensetzung des ersten Gasgemisches (4) mit wenigstens 90 % zumindest eines Edelgases und/oder Stickstoff, bis zu 3 % Wasser und bis zu 7 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches gebildet ist.
- Verfahren (20) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Zusammensetzung des ersten Gasgemisches (4) mit wenigstens 90 % zumindest eines Edelgases und/oder Sauerstoff und bis zu 10 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches gebildet ist.
- Verfahren (20) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Zusammensetzung des ersten Gasgemisches (4) mit wenigstens 90 % zumindest eines Edelgases und/oder Sauerstoff bis zu 3 % Wasserstoff und bis zu 7 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches gebildet ist.
- Verfahren (20) nach zumindest einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das dritte Gasgemisch (5) molekularen Sauerstoff und/oder molekularen Stickstoff und/oder ein Edelgas umfasst.
- Verfahren (20) nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Zusammensetzung des dritten Gasgemisches zumindest 80 % molekularen Stickstoff und/oder ein Edelgas und 20% eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches umfasst.
- Verfahren (20) nach Anspruch 4 oder 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Zusammensetzung des dritten Gasgemisches zumindest 80 % molekularen Sauerstoff und/oder ein Edelgas und 20 % eines Restgases oder Restgasgemisches umfasst.
- Verfahren (20) nach zumindest einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass beim Einleiten (23) des dritten Gasgemisches (5) in die zweite Kammer (3) abwechselnd molekularer Sauerstoff oder molekularer Stickstoff als drittes Gasgemisch (5) verwendet wird.
- Verfahren (20) nach zumindest einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verfahren für die Behandlung von biologischen Oberflächen, insbesondere Wunden, Verbrennungen, Abschürfungen, Augen- und/oder Schleimhäuten oder dergleichen, oder für Bearbeitung von technischen Oberflächen, insbesondere thermolabilen Oberflächen und/oder zur Erzeugung chemischer Spezies in Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen geeignet ist.
- Verfahren (20) nach zumindest einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die erste Kammer (2) ausgebildet ist, das erste Gasgemisch (4) in der ersten Kammer (2) mittels einer Energiezufuhr, insbesondere mittels eines elektrischen oder elektromagnetischen Feldes, zu ionisieren.
- Verfahren (20) nach zumindest einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zweite Kammer (3) ausgebildet ist, dem zweiten kalten Plasma (6.1) oder dem vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisch (6.2) in der zweiten Kammer (3) weiter Energie zu zuführen, insbesondere mittels eines elektrischen oder elektromagnetischen Feldes, in der zweiten Kammer (3).
- Plasmavorrichtung (1) konfiguriert zum Erzeugen eines kalten stickoxidbasierten Atmosphärendruckplasmas, wobei die Vorrichtung (1) die folgenden Merkmale aufweist:- eine erste Kammer (2) zum Erzeugen eines ersten kalten Plasmas (4.1) oder eines zweiten Gasgemisches (4.2), wobei die erste Kammer (2) zumindest einem Einlass (2.1) für ein Stickstoff, Sauerstoff, Wasser, Wasserstoff und/oder zumindest ein Edelgas umfassendes erstes Gasgemisch (4) und zumindest einem Auslass (2.2) für das erste kalte Plasma (4.1) oder das zweite Gasgemisch (4.2) aufweist,- eine zweite Kammer (3), wobei die zweite Kammer (3) zumindest einem ersten Einlass (3.1) für das in der ersten Kammer (2) erzeugt erste kalte Plasma (4.1) oder das zweite Gasgemisch (4.2), einen zweiten Einlass (3.2) für ein drittes Gasgemisch (5), und einem Auslass (3.3) aufweist, wobei die zweite Kammer (3) so konfiguriert ist, dass sich das dritte Gasgemisch (5) mit dem ersten kalten Plasma (4.1) oder dem zweiten Gasgemisch (4.2) mischen und zu einem vierten, reaktiven Stickoxid enthaltenden Gasgemisch (6.2) reagieren, und eine Steuereinheit (7) konfiguriert um die Oxidationsstufe des Stickstoffs in dem reaktiven Stickoxids über eine Zusammensetzung des dritten Gasgemisches (5) zu steuern.
- Steuereinheit (7) zum Steuern einer Plasmavorrichtung (1) nach Anspruch 13, wobei die Steuereinheit (7) und Plasmavorrichtung (1) konfiguriert sind, das Verfahren nach zumindest einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 12 auszuführen.
