Abstract

The appliance for carrying away fumes for gas heating plate has an inner insert (2) with a similar to a triangular cross-section with holes in the bottom wall (3) and a row of holes in the diagonal wall preferably in the form of slots (4) as well as an external cap (5) with holes (6).

Description

  • The subject of the invention is an appliance to carry away the fumes from the hob with closed combustion chambers under the top ceramic hob.
  • In the known heating plates with closed combustion chambers, the exhaust fumes are conveyed from the hob backwards or diagonally through the upper holes towards the walls of the kitchen space.
  • Known for patent EP0638771 / US5509403 , the gas heating hob has an outlet in the back part in the form of a chamber with the outlet holes.
  • Known from the patent US4951646 ventilation of ceramic heating plate has a chamber for mixing air with exhaust fumes in the back part of the plate.
  • Known from the international publication WO2004 / 088207 heating plate having an outlet for exhaust fumes mixed with the incoming air by gravity into the chamber in the back part of the plate.
  • It is known from the national patent No. 215,062 a gas heating plate having exhaust outlet in the form of a chamber in which air is forced by a fan towards the outlet of fumes.
  • It is known from the national patent Application No. 380,216 an appliance for carrying the fumes away, having a hypertensive chamber and an exhaust chamber as well as a passage in the form of rows of holes carrying the fumes in the horizontal direction.
  • A disadvantage of known systems of carrying away the fumes from the heating plates is the lack of proper direction of the outlet of fumes, wherein a horizontal stream of exhaust gases from combustion chambers under the ceramic hob is directed outside the hob towards the wall of the room.
  • The carrying away fumes system of the gas heating plate with closed combustion chambers, according to the invention, has two removable elements placed in a slot in the back section of the hob plate, behind the surface of the ceramic plate.
  • The bottom element of the appliance is the inner insert of the exhaust fumes of a triangular cross-section which is fitted with rows of inlets in its bottom wall, as well as a row of outlets in its diagonal wall, the purpose of which is to direct the air stream flowing from the bottom to form a flat stream directed upwards.
  • The bottom edge of the inner insert is located on the level of the bottom edge of the exhaust ducts of the heating plate.
    Over the inner insert there is an external cap of the exhaust fumes having a longitudinal hole located over the holes of the inner insert which are shifted towards the front of the heating plate
    The edges of the longitudinal hole of the external cap have walls at an acute angle which give the effect of a nozzle - making exhaust more effective and the structure of the cap more rigid.
  • Cool air flowing from the bottom through the inner insert, through the bottom holes and the row of holes of the inner insert, under gravity or by at least one fan in the form of a narrow stream draws in exhaust fumes from the combustion chambers of the heating plate and is subsequently directed to the longitudinal outlet of the external cap, which causes the mixing of exhaust fumes with air and directs them outside the plate. Thanks to the shifting of the longitudinal outlet in the external cap against the outlets in the inner insert, exhaust fumes are directed at the desirable direction, i.e. upwards, orthogonally to the surface of the heating plate, instead of diagonally at the wall of the room.
  • The subject of the invention is illustrated as an example of execution in the figures: fig. 1 presents an overview of the elements of the carrying fumes away system, and fig. 2 presents a cross-sectional view of the heating plate with the mounted appliance to carry away fumes with marked gas flows.
  • The appliance to carry away the fumes consists of an inner insert 2 of a triangular cross-section, where in the bottom wall there are inlets 3 and a row of holes in the form of slots 4 in the diagonal wall, as well as an external cap 5 with a longitudinal hole 6 the edges of which have walls bent towards the bottom. The inner insert 2 and the external cap 5 are located in the slot 7 of the hob plate 1.
  • The bottom edge of the inner insert 2 is located on the level of the bottom edge of the exhaust fumes ducts of the hob plate 1.
    The upper surface of the external cap 5 is located a little above the level of the surface ceramic heating plate 1 in order to secure the system of carrying fumes away against flooding and pollution. The longitudinal hole 6 of the external cap 5 is shifted towards the front of the heating plate against the holes 4 of the inner insert in order to achieve the desirable direction of a vertical exhaust fumes flow.
  • Cool air pressed from the bottom to the inner insert 2 by a fan 8 flows out of the slots 4 of the inner insert 2 in the form of a narrow stream upwards and sucks the fumes flowing from the exhaust ducts of the heating plate 1. Afterwards it mixes with the exhaust fumes and flows out through the longitudinal outlet 6 in the external cap 5. Thanks to the longitudinal outlet 6 being shifted against the slots 4 in the inner insert 2 exhaust fumes are directed vertically instead of diagonally towards the wall of the kitchen. The location of holes, their shape and the size in the inner insert 2 with respect to the inner holes, their shape and size of the external cap 5 allows free and optimal orientation as to the direction of the flow of exhaust fumes.
  • The carrying fumes away system according to the invention allows for achieving better mixing of air and exhaust fumes, which in turn enables the decrease of the temperature of exhaust fumes emissions by approx. 20 degrees C.
  • The solution is technological in production. The use of removable elements allows for easy cleaning and facilitates the maintenance of the heating plate.

Claims (2)

  1. The appliance to carry away fumes from a gas heating plate with closed combustion chambers characterized in that it has an inner insert ( 2 ) of a similar to a triangular cross-section, wherein there are holes in the bottom wall ( 3 ) and preferably a row of holes in the diagonal wall, preferably in the form of slots ( 4 ) and an external cap ( 5 ) with holes ( 6 ).
  2. The appliance to carry away fumes as per claim 1 characterized in that the bottom edge of the inner insert ( 2 ) is located on the level of the bottom edge of the exhaust ducts of the heating plate ( 1 ).
