Um eine ordnungsgemäße Funktion der Dichtbleche zu gewährleisten, ist es erforderlich, die einzelnen Dichtbleche gegen eine Verschiebung in Umfangsrichtung zu sichern, wozu entsprechende Sicherungseinrichtungen verwendet werden. Eine solche Sicherungseinrichtung kann beispielsweise durch eine sich durch ein im Dichtblech vorgesehenes Durchgangsloch erstreckende Schraube und eine an der Radscheibe vorgesehene Gewindebohrung gebildet sein, in welche die Schraube im bestimmungsgemäß montierten Zustand geschraubt ist. Ein Problem einer derart ausgebildeten Sicherungseinrichtung besteht allerdings darin, dass sich die mit der in der Radscheibe vorgesehenen Gewindebohrung einhergehende Kerbwirkung negativ auf die Festigkeit der Radscheibe auswirken und entsprechend Probleme bereiten kann. Darüber hinaus lassen sich Schrauben im Zweifelsfall häufig nicht mehr lösen, was ein aufwändiges Aufbohren der Schraubverbindung nach sich zieht, wodurch die teure Radscheibe beschädigt wird.Wheel disc assemblies of the type mentioned are known in the art.
