- the insulation means 8 also have at each attachment means 10 a protruding part 11 fixing said means, this protruding part 11 being advantageously made of a thermal insulating material. It has indeed been found that it is particularly important to avoid any physical contact with the walls 2, 2', 3 (metal) of the container 1 because the latter, by their very nature, heat up very quickly when the containers are placed in an environment having a (very) high temperature.
- the thermal insulation means 8 according to the invention advantageously make it possible, by their fixing and their arrangement in the container 1, to avoid any thermal conduction of heat between the walls 2, 2', 3 and 4 of the container 1 and the product tank 5.
- the thermal insulation means 8 can be installed so as to (re)cover at least the two longitudinal sides 2, 2' as well as the upper face 4. Nevertheless, advantageously, the thermal insulation means 8 will extend between the tank 5 and the four sides 2, 2' and 3. In this case, on the lateral face 3 having the opening of the container 1, the thermal insulation means 8 can easily be divided like the leaves 7, 7' of the opening of the container 1, for example by means of a zipped closure/opening 12 allowing an operator to open the thermal insulation means 8 on this side 3, without requiring the complete removal of the latter 8.
- figure 4 schematically illustrates the lateral side 3 of the container 1 where the opening is located and the thermal insulation means 8 are visible with the zipped opening/closing 12 extending vertically over the entire height in order to allow the opening of said means 8, identical to the two leaves 7, 7' of the opening of the container 1.
- a good thermal insulating material by conduction, has at least a thermal conductivity, expressed in Wm -1 .K -1 (Watt per meter per Kelvin) at 20°C, of less than 0.1 Wm -1 .K -1 , preferably less than 0.05 Wm -1 .K -1 .
- the thermal insulation partition 8 consists of a multi-structure canvas or fabric, i.e. consisting of a plurality of layers or films fixed to each other.
- the thermal insulation means 8 are ideally formed of a plurality of adjacent layers or films each having heat barrier properties, whether by radiation, convection or of course by conduction, but also having a synergistic thermal insulation effect due to the association, in a well-defined order, of these different layers or films.
- thermal insulation means 8 are light and relatively flexible so that a single operator can, without difficulty, adjust, arrange and fix said means 8 in the container 1.
- thermal insulation means 8 may be present on the entire interior surface of the container 1 and cooperate with anchoring means located on the thermal insulation means 8 so as to properly stretch this multilayer structure and effectively provide two thermal insulation chambers 14, 15 having a substantially constant volume.
- one of the main aims of the present invention is to provide two thermal insulation chambers, each filled with air (which forms per se a good means of thermal insulation), separated by an excellent means of thermal insulation, in this case the multilayer structure according to the invention.
- the air chamber 15 may be filled with a refrigerant gas capable of cooling this section and in particular the tank 5 containing the heat-sensitive materials. This solution is possible due to the impermeability of the multilayer structure 8.
- the heat-sensitive material that it contains will not rise in temperature, or at least not beyond a critical threshold.
- the outer wall of the thermal insulation means 8 is advantageously made of a metallic material which is an excellent heat reflector and diffuses by radiation.
- a metallic material may be aluminum.
- this metallic material may be at both ends of the sandwich formed by the multilayer structure of the thermal insulation means 8 or at least present on the outer side (forming the layer or film closest to the walls 2, 2', 3 or 4 of the container 1).
- all other layers or films are excellent thermal insulators (zero or very low thermal conduction) with regard to the definition given above.
- one of the layers of the thermal insulation means 8 will advantageously be made of polyethylene and another layer of polyester.
- these elements can be replaced by other polymer materials having excellent thermal insulation properties, such as for example polyurethane foam or expanded polystyrene.
- the thermal insulation means may advantageously include an air bubble layer, conventionally made of polyethylene, because such a layer forms a very good thermal insulator.
- an advantageous aspect of the invention lies in the formation of two air chambers 14, 15 (excellent thermal insulation) obtained thanks to the particular installation of the thermal insulation means 8 according to the invention.
- an air chamber 14 is present between the walls of the container 1 and the thermal insulation means 8 and between the insulation means 8 and the tank(s) 5.
- This arrangement also avoids creating points of thermal conduction, in other words points of contact between the tank(s) 5 and the walls 2, 2', 3 or 4 of the container 1, the latter having the highest temperatures.
