Den Abströmbereich der Lüfter betreffend sind der Anmelderin zwei unterschiedliche Bauformen bekannt, die unterschiedliche Auswirkungen auf Geräuschentwicklung und Luftleistung besitzen:
- Eine erste der Anmelderin bekannte Bauform sieht eine völlig offene Konstruktion des Abströmbereichs des gesamten Doppellüftermoduls vor. Damit soll die Abströmung möglichst wenig beeinflusst werden. Allerdings können sich dabei die Abströmungen der beiden Lüfter gegenseitig stören, was wiederum eine unerwünschte Geräuschentwicklung zur Folge haben kann.
- Eine andere der Anmelderin bekannte Bauform sieht ein vollständiges Umschließen des Abströmbereichs jedes einzelnen Lüfters des Doppellüftermoduls ähnlich einem Rohrlüfter vor. Durch das vollständige Umschließen wird allerdings die Luftleistung (Volumen- bzw. Massenstrom der Luft) vermindert, da die Abströmung zur Seite eingeschränkt ist.

the partition wall portion (8) extends over an arc length (14) in the range of 5 cm to 20 cm, in particular in the range of 8 cm to 15 cm, preferably in the range of 10 cm to 12 cm, around a circumference of the first and/or further mountings (2; 3). - Fan housing according to any of the preceding claims,
characterised in that
the partition wall portion (8) is arranged between two fastening struts (10; 11) of the first or further fan mounting (2, 3). - Fan housing according to any of the preceding claims,

the partition wall portion (8) extends to at least 50 %, in particular to 70 % - 100 %, of an axial height (12) of the fastening struts. - Fan housing according to any of the preceding claims,

the fan housing (1) is formed as a plastics material injection-moulded part. - Fan module (20), in particular double fan module, in particular for a radiator for a motor vehicle,
comprising a fan housing (1),
comprising a first fan (21) which is mounted in the fan housing (1) and formed to generate a first airflow, comprising at least one further fan (22) which is mounted in the fan housing (1) and formed to generate a further airflow, and which is arranged and mounted in the fan housing (1) alongside the first fan (21),
characterised in that
a shielding device (8) for separating the first airflow from the further airflow is provided in associated flow-off regions of the first and/or further fan (21, 22) in an intermediate region (4), provided between the first and the further fan (21; 22), of the fan housing (1),
the fan housing (1) being formed as a fan housing (1) according to any of claims 1 to 7. - Fan module according to claim 8,
characterised in that
the shielding device (8) is formed as a partition wall portion (8) extending in the flow-off direction of the first and/or the further airflow. - Fan housing according to either claim 8 or claim 9,
characterised in that
the first fan (21) has a greater diameter than the further fan (22). - Fan housing according to any of claims 8 to 10,
characterised in that
the first fan (21) has a higher drive power and/or ventilation performance than the further fan (22).
