Description
The invention relates to a contact carrier with an electrical contact and a contact arm, which is electrically conductively connected to the electrical contact.
Such contact carriers are used to make an electrically conductive connection between the electrical contact and a printed circuit board. The electrical contact may be e.g. be designed as a socket or plug. In Through Hole Technology (THT), wire terminals of the contact carrier are plugged through vias in the circuit board and then electrically connected to traces on the circuit board by soldering (e.g., conventional hand soldering, wave soldering, or selective soldering). In the case of surface mounting (surfacemounting technology, SMT), on the other hand, solderable contact pads of the contact carrier are soldered directly onto conductor tracks of the printed circuit board. For this purpose, the conductor track sections on the circuit board, which serve as connection surfaces, before loading e.g. printed by screen or stencil printing with solder paste. After loading with the contact carrier, the pads are soldered together to connect them electrically conductive. If the contact carrier is arranged on an upper side of the printed circuit board, e.g. Reflow soldering or reflow soldering can be used. If, however, the contact carrier of the underside of the circuit board is arranged, this is glued and soldered in the wave or wave bath. Thus, very dense assemblies and especially a two-sided assembly of the circuit board are possible, which reduces the space requirement. As a result, electrical devices can be made smaller and at the same time much cheaper.
- The contract carrier is electrically connected, is not exactly centered, but is located with its complete terminal metallization over the circuit board.
- The contract carrier is electrically connected, but surmounts with its terminal metallization a copper surface of the circuit board.
- The contract carrier is not electrically connected and towers over the copper surface of the printed circuit board with its terminal metallization.
- The contract carrier is not electrically connected and lies with its terminal metallization completely outside the copper surface of the circuit board.

It is therefore the object of the present invention to provide an improved contact carrier.
This object is achieved by the subject matter having the features of the independent claim. Advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent claims, the description and the drawings.
The present invention is based on the recognition that tolerance compensation can compensate for the incorrect positioning caused by blurring.
According to a first aspect, the object is achieved in that the contact carrier has an electrical contact and a contact arm, which is electrically conductively connected to the electrical contact, wherein the contact arm a Tolerance compensating portion and a contact formed on the tolerance compensating portion for electrically contacting the electrical contact with a contact surface comprises. As a result, the technical advantage is achieved that the tolerance compensation section compensates for incorrect positioning by blurring. This increases the production yield.
In an advantageous embodiment, the contact arm extends laterally or radially from the electrical contact. As a result, the technical advantage is achieved that the contact carrier has compact dimensions and therefore takes up little space to complete.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the electrical contact extends in a first direction, and the contact arm extends in a second direction, wherein the first direction and the second direction at an angle, in particular at an angle of 90 ° C, within an angle within an angular tolerance range are arranged. The angle tolerance range can have production-related tolerances and, for example, 5%, 10% or 15% of e.g. 90 °. As a result, the technical advantage is achieved that the contact carrier is particularly easy to manufacture.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the contact foot extends within an angular tolerance range in the second direction. The angle tolerance range can have production-related tolerances and be, for example, 5%, 10% or 15%. As a result, the technical advantage is achieved that the contact carrier can be made even more compact and thus even less space is claimed.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the tolerance compensation section is mechanically deformable. As a result, the technical advantage is achieved that the tolerance compensation section can be deformed by occurring during soldering forces and compensate these.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the tolerance compensation section is elastically or plastically deformable. As a result, the technical advantage is achieved that can be compensated by an elastic deformability occurring only during soldering deformation due to thermally induced stresses, while the plastic deformability permanent malpositions can be compensated.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the contact foot is connected to the electrical contact by means of the tolerance compensation section. This achieves the technical advantage that the tolerance compensation section is arranged between the contact foot and the electrical contact. Thus, the contact carrier has a particularly simple structure.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the tolerance compensation section comprises a bending arc, in particular a U-shaped bend. As a result, the technical advantage is achieved that in a compact design, a tolerance compensation section to compensate for large tolerances is provided, which is easy to manufacture.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the contact foot on the tolerance compensation section is arranged at an angle at an angle. Thereby, the technical advantage is achieved that can be particularly easily deformed by the angled arrangement of the tolerance compensation section to the contact foot of the tolerance compensation section at this point to compensate for tolerances.
In a further advantageous embodiment, the contact foot is arranged below the tolerance compensation section. Thereby, the technical advantage is achieved that the contact carrier particularly easy with the contact foot on a contact surface, such. a printed circuit board of a circuit board is to be attached.
