Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a sports shoe, suitable in particular for skiing, mountaineering and walking.
  • ski boots generally have a rigid shell in which is inserted a soft inner boot.
  • the shell generally comprises a plurality of elements made of a relatively rigid composite plastic material, and the liner is made by assembling several panels of foam or fabric.
  • EP-A-0 406 212 discloses an alpine ski boot comprising a lower part intended to wrap the foot of the user, and an upper part, or collar, intended to surround the bottom of the leg.
  • the collar is articulated in rotation with the lower part about an axis corresponding to the axis of articulation of the user's ankle.
  • the rotation of the collar towards the rear is locked so as to allow the support of the skier's legs towards the rear, during the practice of skiing.
  • the shoe allows a slight rotation of the collar forward to allow the user to lean forward.
  • the touring skis are equipped with bindings allowing the boot to pivot around its front end, so as to allow the heel to lift. This movement involves longitudinal flexion and extension of the ankle, which is not allowed by alpine ski boots.
  • the ski touring boots are equipped with a mechanism for unlocking the rotation of the collar towards the rear, in order to facilitate the approach walk by allowing longitudinal flexion and extension of the ankle.
  • the collar is not free to pivot laterally, which blocks the movements of lateral flexion of the ankle, called inversion and eversion.
  • the ski touring boots are not suitable for making approaching steps in which the skier unhooks his skis and moves on rough terrain, or mountaineering.
  • ski touring boots are not more suitable for climbing phases in sloping areas that require a lateral inclination of the shoe.
  • EP-A-0 406 212 describes a mechanism for adjusting the lateral inclination or "canting" of the collar relative to the lower part of the boot, depending on the morphology of the skier's legs. This adjustment is made before the practice ski, and it is no longer modified when using the shoe. The setting of the canting is not easy to achieve and often requires a tool.
  • EP-A-0 406 212 a free position is provided in which the collar can freely tilt laterally.
  • the angular amplitude of this movement is limited to a few degrees, and the friction makes the lateral inclination difficult. So, the shoe according to the document EP-A-0 406 212 is not adapted to allow easy lateral bending of the ankle during skiing or during walking.
  • EP-A-1,880,623 discloses a ski boot whose amplitude of lateral flexion is increased.
  • the shoe comprises two ball-type links.
  • Two independent locking mechanisms ensure, on the one hand, the locking of the longitudinal flexion and extension of the ankle and, on the other hand, the blocking of the lateral bending.
  • This device is relatively heavy and complex, and requires the presence of a large and protruding coupling plate.
  • the collar of the shoe can not tilt simultaneously longitudinally and laterally, which limits the movements of the ankle.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a shoe in which the collar has a great freedom of movement relative to the lower part.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a shoe light enough to allow the practice of walking, mountaineering, or even climbing, while being rigid enough to ensure proper leg support during practice ski, especially for the support of the leg on the back of the collar.
  • the invention relates to a sports shoe according to claim 1.
  • Other embodiments are disclosed in the dependent claims 2-11.
  • the collar is free to tilt laterally and longitudinally, simultaneously, with respect to the lower part when the locking element is in the unlocking position.
  • the locking of the collar is done easily by means of the locking element.
  • each part of the collar is articulated with the lower part about a transverse axis perpendicular to a median plane of the shoe, which allows to reproduce anatomically the longitudinal flexion movement of the ankle.
  • the relative movement of the translation of the collar parts relative to each other allows the lateral inclination of the collar relative to the lower part, in unlocking position, thanks to the inherent flexibility of the parts of the collar, who work in flexion.
  • the Figures 1 to 7 show a sports shoe 1, particularly suitable for skiing, ski touring, mountaineering and walking. In this case, it is a ski touring boot.
  • the shoe 1 comprises a lower part, or bottom shell 2, adapted to surround and envelop the foot of a user.
  • An upper part of the shoe 1, or collar 3, is provided to surround and wrap the bottom of the leg of the user.
  • the collar 3 is movable relative to the lower part 2.
  • the lower part 2 extends in length along a longitudinal axis XX 'of the shoe 1, between a heel 23 located at the rear of the shoe 1, and a tip 24 located at the front of the shoe 1
  • the lower part 2 comprises generally vertical lateral flanks 22A and 22B coming from the soleplate 21.
  • the lateral flanks 22A and 22B define with the soleplate 21 a cavity designed to receive the foot of the user.
  • An upper zone of the lower part delimits an opening 25 provided for the introduction of the foot.
  • the lower part 2 and the collar 3 each comprise a shell 20 or rigid 30.
  • the shells 20 and 30 are generally made of synthetic materials, for example plastic or composite, and the liner 4 is generally made by assembling several panels of foam or fabric.
  • hooks or other clamping means may be used instead of or in addition to the laces 262 and the clamping member 264.
  • the collar 3 extends in height between a lower edge 31, which defines an opening which opens into the opening 25 of the lower part 2, and an upper edge 32, which defines an opening 33 provided for the introduction of the foot of the user in the shoe 1.
  • the liner 4 protrudes outside the hull 30 for reasons of comfort.
  • the collar 3 comprises a first lateral portion 34A and a second medial portion 34B, which extend the lateral flanks 22A and 22B of the lower part 2 upwards.
  • Parts 34A and 34B are two separate mechanical parts, in other words disjointed.
  • the parts 34A and 34B are separated from each other by a slot 35 of the collar 3 located above the heel, in the rear part of the boot 1, through which the liner 4 is visible.
  • the portions 34A and 34B extend on either side of a median plane M of the boot 1, vertically oriented, which passes through the longitudinal axis XX 'and which shares the shoe 1 in a lateral portion and a medial portion.
  • Each portion 34A and 34B is articulated in rotation with a flank 22A or 22B of the lower part 2, at a zone corresponding to the malleolus of the user, by means of an elongate rivet 3420A or 3420B forming first and second articulation means.
  • Each part 34A and 34B comprises a lower part, or bearing 342A or 342B, articulated in rotation with the lower part 2, around a generally horizontal axis A3 and perpendicular to the median plane M.
  • the axis A3 is common to the two bearings 342A and 342B.
  • the bearings 342A and 342B extend in length on either side of an axis A342, which has a direction radial with respect to the axis A7.
  • the bearings 342A and 342B are rectilinear. Alternatively, they can be bent. In this case, the axis A342 is also curved.
  • Each bearing 342A is extended upwardly by an upper portion 344A or 344B of the portion 34A or 34B of the corresponding collar 3, which is provided to partially surround the lower leg.
  • the parts 34A and 34B are formed from thin and slightly flexible and elastic plates, so that the size of the shoe 1 is not penalized.
  • Second clamping means 36 are provided for clamping the collar 3 on the lower leg of the user.
  • the second clamping means 36 comprise a notched band 362 metal, fixed on the upper portion 344B of the medial portion 34B, and a clamping hook 364, fixed on the upper portion 344A of the side portion 34A.
