Claims (4)

  1. Transport and storage container (1) which can be opened from a folded non-use position into an open position and the side walls of which can be folded towards the base surface (4) of a base tray (3) and are arranged over walls (2) of the base tray (3), wherein at least one wall (2) of the base tray (3) is provided with a recess (5) in which at least one opening (9) is configured, through which a pivot shaft (13) of a hinge element (12) of the side wall (11) can be introduced, wherein a projection (16) extends into the recess (5) at the inner surface (6) of the wall (2) of the base tray (3),
    characterised in that
