Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und ein System zum Befüllen eines Tanks mit einem flüssigen Medium, insbesondere einer Harnstoff Lösung. Eine Befüllvorrichtung (11) weist ein Befüllrohr (28) und einen Füllstandssensor am Befüllrohr (28) auf, wobei der Füllstandssensor ein Füllsignal abgibt, wenn er das flüssige Medium detektiert. Eine Förderpumpe ist zum Fördern des Mediums vorgesehen. Eine Steuerungsvorrichtung ist dazu ausgelegt, die Förderpumpe abzuschalten, wenn ein Füllsignal empfangen wird, und die Förderpumpe wieder einzuschalten, wenn das Füllsignal nach einer vorgegebenen Zeitdauer nicht mehr empfangen wird.
