Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device for electrically connecting or connecting at least one conductor of a power supply cable having the features in the preamble of claim 1.
  • the cables are already immovable at a distance of several tens of centimeters from the connection or connection, for example, when the cables are buried in the ground and only one socket hole is exposed for installation of the connection or the connection or if, for example, the outer insulation or reinforcement of a multiphase cable must be discontinued, if the individual cable wires are to be connected to the same or other wires.
  • the cable core can only be bent laterally when installing connection, branch or connection elements.
  • connecting elements are clamped transversely to the cable axis.
  • the connecting elements are mounted at the ends of the cable ladder to be connected, for example by means of sleeve-shaped screw connectors which receive the cable ladder and are permanently clamped to the sleeves by pressure screws arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis.
  • the pre-assembled on the conductors fasteners are interconnected.
  • the cable cores should be bent out as little as possible in order to prevent unintentional loosening of the conductor connections.
  • From the GB 2 319 402 A is a two-piece connector for conductors known. Due to the contact elements of the two connecting elements predetermined contact surfaces, the cables to be joined together when connecting the two connecting elements must be more or less rotated in order to achieve a surface contact of the contact elements of the connecting elements. There is a risk that the connection between the connecting element to be rotated and the conductor mounted thereon loosens again due to the mechanical stress associated with the rotation. This is increasingly true in cramped space and low free cable lengths.
  • the US 4,458,976 describes a device for electrically connecting or connecting at least one conductor of a power supply cable, wherein the device has a connectable to the conductor first connecting element which is connectable by means of a clamping element with a second connecting element of the device, and wherein the two connecting elements in each case at least partially a cylindrical, in particular have a circular cylindrical peripheral surface and a centric longitudinal axis in this respect, wherein one of the two connecting elements has a pin-shaped first contact member with an at least partially circular cylindrical and concentric with the central longitudinal axis of one of the two connecting elements first contact surface, wherein the other of the two connecting elements has a receiving opening, via which the first contact member eccentric to the central longitudinal axis of the other of the two connecting elements in the other of two connecting elements can be inserted and when connecting the connecting elements by the clamping element concentric with the central longitudinal axis of the other of the two connecting elements aligned and thereby brought into electrically connecting contact with a second contact surface of a second contact member of the other
  • the invention is based on the problem to provide a generic device, which has further improved performance characteristics.
  • the assembly of the device should be further simplified while still ensuring a permanently good electrical connection.
  • the problem is solved by the device defined in claim 1.
  • Particular embodiments of the invention are defined in the subclaims.
  • the circular, end-side receiving opening having an undercut forms the second contact element in the second connecting element and has a longitudinal axis which runs parallel but offset relative to the second central longitudinal axis of the second connecting element.

  • the two connecting elements each have, at least in sections, a cylindrical, in particular a circular cylindrical peripheral surface and a centric longitudinal axis with respect thereto.
  • the two connecting elements have congruent circular-cylindrical sections at or near their mutually facing ends, so that in the connected state the two connecting elements abut one another substantially without heels.
  • One of the two connecting elements has a pin-shaped first contact member with a in the direction of the central longitudinal axis and / or in the circumferential direction about the central longitudinal axis at least partially circular cylindrical and concentric with the central longitudinal axis concentric first contact surface on the connecting the connecting elements through the clamping element in electrically connecting system a second contact surface of a sleeve-shaped second contact element of the other of the two connecting elements can be brought.
  • the second contact surface may also be at least partially circular cylindrical. Alternatively or additionally, however, the second contact surface may also be polygonal in cross-section or may also be formed by contact webs which may extend parallel to the central longitudinal axis.

On the other hand, it is more important that the second contact surface, taking into account the radial extent of the at least partially circular cylindrical contact surface of the first contact surface Contact member is arranged on the contact member such that in the connected state, the central longitudinal axes of the two connecting elements are aligned. Upon rotation of the connecting element with the first contact member about the central longitudinal axis, the first contact member remains in electrically connecting contact with the second contact member.
