Claims (15)
- Method for producing an internally and/or externally toothed pot-shaped sheet-metal part (9) with teeth running towards the central axis of the pot, wherein an untoothed pot-shaped sheet-metal part (9) is located in a die (5, 5a) and then a profile is rolled onto the pot-shaped sheet-metal part (9) by shaping elements (22) bearing on the sheet-metal part (9, 9-1) by means of a relative movement between the sheet-metal part (9) and the associated shaping elements (22) and thus alternating internal and external teeth are formed on the sheet-metal part (9), characterised in that the shaping elements (22) oriented radially from the inside to the outside deform the sheet-metal part (9) in that the shaping elements (22) roll along the internal circumference of the sheet-metal part (9).

- Device according to one of claims 7 to 10, characterised in that the back plates (25) of the cassettes (17) bear on cylindrical guide faces (26) arranged on the stop bush (21) and aligned parallel to the direction of movement of the shaping head (23).
- Device according to one of claims 7 to 11, characterised in that the shaping elements (22) are embodied in the form of profile rollers mounted without axles or in the form of thrust elements or in the form of balls or in the form of pins, rollers or other rotatable elements, and at least one shaping element is mounted in a cassette (17, 18) in each case.
- Device according to one of claims 7 to 11, characterised in that the shaping elements are mounted on axles in the cassette (17, 18).
