Description

- As disclosed in
WO2010/085279 A1 enzyme-containing liquid detergents with sulfo-estolide surfactants are known in the art. While only proteases, amylases and lipases are mentioned there, the document is also silent on the problem of enzyme stability in liquid formulations. - One problem encountered with liquid detergents comprising enzymes is the stability of the enzymes in the matrix of the liquid detergent. To solve this problem, many enzyme-stabilizing systems have been developed, some of them bringing higher production costs and environmental problems back into the formula.
- It is an object of the present invention to provide a liquid detergent comprising enzymes, wherein the enzyme remains stable even without added stabilizing agents and which is environmentally friendly and wherein the liquid detergent has high cleaning and foaming power.
