Description

  • The present invention relates to an oven, the ventilation effectiveness of which is increased.
  • The side walls, rear wall and upper wall of the ovens are embedded into the furniture. Therefore, it is not possible for the outside environment air to contact the exterior body walls of the oven. In ovens, having a cover that entirely closes the front of the exterior body in the closed position, air passes only through the gap between the cover and the furniture. It is not quite possible to deliver this air to the entire side wall since there isn't a system that moves the air between the furniture and the exterior body. Therefore, the side wall is overheated with the temperature that increases during cooking.
  • In the European Patent Document No. EP1795812 , a built-in oven is described having vertical channels situated in the space remaining between the outer body and the casing, allowing air to pass to the outside environment, thereby enabling to cool the bottom wall and the rear wall.
  • German Patent Application DE 2 310 290 A1 discloses an oven having an exterior body with walls and an inner casing located therein with a gap in between. Air is taken up from the outside via openings in the exterior body and flows via a fan to the top of the casing. Vertical intermediate walls are disposed between the exterior body and the casing.
  • European Patent Application EP 1 515 091 A2 discloses an oven having lateral walls with openings through which air can enter that is sucked in by a fan. Guiding elements at the openings at the rear side of the oven prevent the entrance of air from the rear.
  • Patent Application GB 2 026 685 describes an oven with two muffles arranged one above the other, wherein air is sucked in towards two blowers located at the back of the oven along the side walls. The air enters through slits at the front side of the oven.
  • German Patent Application DE 10 2010 062 147 A1 describes an oven with a casing that has openings at the bottom of its side walls through which air can enter and flow vertically upwards towards a fan.
  • The aim of the present invention is the realization of an oven that is prevented from overheating by increasing the ventilation effectiveness. The oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises an exterior body having two side walls, a rear wall, a top wall, a casing positioned in the exterior body such that a gap remains therebetween, at least one fan disposed between the exterior body and the casing, that moves the air, a cover having a closed position wherein the front of the exterior body is entirely closed and an open position that the cover is changed to from the closed position by being moved, allowing access into the exterior body and at least one opening arranged on the side wall. The oven of the present invention comprises at least one guiding member that is disposed over at least one opening arranged on the side of the side wall facing the casing and that limits the movement of the air received from the opening in the vertical plane. The air passes from the outside environment into the volume between the side wall and the casing by means of the opening. The air received from the opening is provided to be directed between the side wall and the casing. The air is provided to move forward in the vertical plane from under the guiding member, almost as far as the rear wall.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member extends on the side wall, in the horizontal direction between the cover and the rear wall. Thus, the air is provided to reach the fan after moving along the side wall.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the width of the guiding member is almost equal to the distance between the side wall and the casing. The air received from the opening, passes through the volume between the side wall and the casing that remains under the guiding member, and moves towards the rear wall by the effect of the fan. Thus, the air received from the opening is prevented from passing to the volume above the guiding member, between the side wall and the casing, by means of the guiding member.
  • According to the present invention, the opening is arranged on the surface of the side wall that is nearest to the cover. The air is provided to pass into the volume between the side wall and the casing from the nearest distance by means of the opening being located at the position nearest to the outside environment.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member extends from the side of the side wall facing the cover towards the rear wall. The guiding member extends almost as far as the rear wall. Consequently, the air received from the opening is provided to move almost as far as the rear wall.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the openings are arranged one above the other in the vertical plane. Thus, almost the entire side wall is provided to be cooled homogeneously.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the opening is situated near the base of the exterior body. Thus, cool air is delivered to the lowermost parts of the side wall by means of the opening arranged just over the opening located lowermost on the side wall. Thus, the air received by means of the opening is provided to enter the fan after contacting almost the entire side wall.
  • According to the present invention, the guiding members are situated one above the other on the side wall. Thus, a channel is formed between two guiding members. The air received from the opening between these two guiding members, moves forward in the formed channel and provides the entire side wall to be cooled by passing over the side wall.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding members are situated to be almost parallel to one another in the vertical plane. Thus, the air received from the outside environment is provided to be dispersed homogeneously in the volume between the exterior body and the casing.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the length of the guiding members is directly proportional with the distance between the fan and the guiding members. The length of the guiding member situated lowermost in the vertical plane is equal to the side wall width. Thus, the air that passes through the opening situated under this guiding member is provided to move along the entire side wall and the cool air is provided to be delivered to almost the entirety side wall. The middle portions of the side wall are provided to be cooled effectively as the length of the guiding member becomes shorter upon approaching the fan.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member is situated between at least two openings.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member is shaped as an extension.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member is integrated with the side wall. The guiding member is formed by methods, such as blasting, etc. on the side wall.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member is detachably mounted on the side wall. Thus, the movement of the air between the exterior body and the casing can be changed with guiding members of different sizes and shapes.
  • By means of the present invention, an oven is realized wherein the air received from the opening on the side wall is provided to cool almost the entire side wall.
  • An oven realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
    • Figure 1 - is the front schematic view of an oven.
    • Figure 2 - is the sideways perspective view of an oven.
    • Figure 3 - is the sideways schematic view of the oven in an embodiment of the present invention.
    • Figure 4 - is the top perspective view of an oven.

    7. 7. Fan
    8. 8. Cover
    9. 9. Opening
    10. 10. Guiding member
  • The oven (1) comprises an exterior body (5) having two side walls (2), one rear wall (3), one top wall (4), a casing (6) positioned in the exterior body (5) such that a gap remains therebetween, at least one fan (7) disposed between the exterior body (5) and the casing (6), that moves the air, a cover (8) having a closed position (C) wherein the front of the exterior body (5) is entirely closed and an open position (O) that the cover (8) is changed to from the closed position (C) by being moved, allowing access into the exterior body (5) and at least one opening (9) arranged on the side wall (2). The oven (1) of the present invention is placed into a furniture such that the side walls (2), the rear wall (3) and the top wall (4) are embedded and only the cover (8) is seen from the front. The cool air of the outside environment passes into the volume between the side wall (2) and the casing (6) by means of the opening (9) (Figure 1).
  • The oven (1) of the present invention comprises at least one guiding member (10) situated over at least one opening (9) between the side wall (2) and the casing (6), that provides the directing of the air entering from the opening (9) to between the side wall (2) and the casing (6) towards the rear wall (3). The fan (7) is situated near the top wall (4) and therefore moves the air passing through the opening (9) in the direction of the top wall (4). The guiding member (10) disposed over the opening (9) prevents the air passing through the opening (9) from moving along the side wall (2), in the upwards direction in the vertical plane. The air received from the opening (9) moves along the side wall (2). The cool air is provided to reach the fan (7) after contacting the lower parts of the side wall (2) by means of the guiding member (10). Thus, the cool air is provided to contact the side wall (2) almost entirely and to cool the side wall (2). The side wall (2) is prevented from acting like a heat source by being prevented from overheating (Figure 2).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member (10) extends along the side wall (2) in the horizontal direction. The air received from the opening (9) is prevented from moving in the upwards direction without circulating along the side wall (2). Thus, the cool air is provided to enter the fan (7) after contacting the side wall (2).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the depth of the guiding member (10) is almost equal to the distance between the side wall (2) and the casing (6). Thus, leakage of air from between the side wall (2) and the casing (6) is almost entirely prevented. The air received from the opening (9) is provided to be delivered to the fan (7) by moving along the side wall (2).
  • According to the present invention, the opening (9) is located on the side of the side wall (2) near the cover (8). By means of the opening (9) being located on the side of the side wall (2) near the cover (8), the cool air is provided to pass through the opening (9) faster and more effectively and to enter into the volume between the side wall (2) and the casing (6) (Figure 2, Figure 3).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member (10) extends from the side of the side wall (2) facing the cover (8) towards the rear wall (3). By means of the guiding member (10) that remains over the opening (9) in the vertical plane, the air that enters through the opening (9) is provided to move along the side wall (2). Thus, almost all of the air that enters through the opening (9) is provided to reach the fan (7) after passing from the side wall (2) (Figure 2, Figure 3).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the openings (9) are arranged one above the other in the vertical plane. Thus, the cool air is provided to be received into the volume between the side wall (2) and the casing (6) at regular intervals (Figure 2, Figure 3).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the opening (9) is situated near the base of the exterior body (5). Thus, the air is delivered to the lowermost part of the side wall (2) and the lowermost parts of the side wall (2) are also provided to be cooled.
  • According to the present invention, the guiding members (10) are arranged one above the other. A channel through which the air passes is formed between the two guiding members (10) situated one above the other. The movement of air received from each opening (9) is limited by the guiding member (10) situated thereon (Figure 2, Figure 3).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding members (10) are situated to be almost parallel to one another in the vertical plane. The air received into the exterior body (5) by means of the openings (9) disperses into the volume between the side wall (2) and the casing (6) homogeneously in the vertical plane. Thus, almost the entire side wall (2) is provided to be cooled effectively (Figure 2, Figure 3).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the length of the guiding member (10) is directly proportional to the distance between the fan (7) and the guiding member (10). The length of the guiding member (10) situated lowermost in the vertical plane is almost equal to the side wall (2) width. The air passing through the opening (9) situated at the lower part of the side wall (2) is prevented from entering the fan (7), without contacting the rear part of the side wall (2) with the effect of the fan (7), by means of the guiding member (10) located at the lower part of the side wall (2). Thus, the cool air received from the outside environment is provided to reach the fan (7) after contacting the lower and rear parts of the side wall (2). The middle portions of the side wall (2) are provided to be cooled effectively as the length of the guiding member (10) becomes shorter upon approaching the fan (7) (Figure 3).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member (10) is situated between at least two openings (9). The movement of the air received from any one of the openings (9) situated on the side wall (2) is limited by the guiding members (10) disposed below the opening (9) and above the opening (9).
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member (10) is shaped as a protrusion. The guiding member (10) extending from the side wall (2) towards the casing (6) is shaped as a protrusion and stands near the side wall (2) so as to almost contact.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member (10) is integrated with the side wall (2). The protrusion-shaped guiding member (10) is formed on the side wall (2) by blasting method.
  • In an embodiment of the present invention, the guiding member (10) is detachably mounted on the side wall (2). Thus, the movement direction of the air can be easily changed with the guiding members (10) in different shapes.
  • By means of the present invention, the movement of the air received by the opening (9) is directed by means of the guiding members (10) situated between the exterior body (5) and the casing (6). Consequently, the air received from the opening (9) is prevented from passing through a single region between the exterior body (5) and the casing (6) with the effect of the fan (7) and almost the entire side wall (2) is provided to be cooled effectively.
