"Front" and "rear" refer to a longitudinal or main direction of movement of the vacuum cleaner when it is moved, for example by means of a push handle pushing over the floor surface.

Der oberhalb der Filterabdeckung angeordnete Batteriedeckel erlaubt es, Raum beanspruchende Batterieaufnahmen wie bei dem in derIn the vacuum cleaner according to the invention, the at least one battery receptacle is covered by a battery cover. In the present case, this can be understood in particular to mean that it is arranged in the latter, in particular integrated in the battery cover. In the closed position, the battery cover including the at least one battery accommodated therein is arranged above the filter cover and covers it. In an open position, the user has cleanroom side access to the filter cover, so that it is easily accessible for maintenance as the filter element. In particular, it is not required that the user, as in the in the WO 2012/062579 A1 previously described the at least one battery from the at least one battery receptacle removes so that he can access the filter cover. Furthermore, it is found in practice that the vacuum cleaner according to the invention a compact design can be achieved. The battery cover arranged above the filter cover allows space-consuming battery receptacles as in the in the

WO 2012/062579 A1 beschriebenen Staubsauger an der Filterabdeckung einzusparen. WO 2012/062579 A1 to save the described vacuum cleaner on the filter cover.

In order to achieve a compact design of the vacuum cleaner, it is particularly advantageous if the battery cover and the filter cover are arranged laterally next to at least one receiving space in which the suction unit and / or an electronic control unit of the vacuum cleaner are arranged. For example, the filter cover and the battery cover are arranged in the region of a rear side of the vacuum cleaner, and an electronic control unit and a suction unit in the region of a front side of the vacuum cleaner. In this case, the control unit can be positioned in particular laterally next to the battery cover, and the suction unit laterally next to the filter cover.

Preferably, the at least one battery of the at least one battery receptacle in the closed position einnehmendem battery lid can be removed to facilitate the handling of the vacuum cleaner. In a corresponding manner, the at least one battery can be inserted into the at least one battery receptacle in the closed position engaging battery cover.

It is advantageous if the at least one battery receptacle comprises a rear side of the vacuum cleaner, with respect to the longitudinal direction, arranged opening for passing the at least one battery. It turns out in practice that this facilitates the handling of the vacuum cleaner. Maintenance work on vacuum cleaners is usually carried out from a backside, as in the present case, the replacement of the at least one battery through the opening and preferably the access to the filter cover and the at least one filter element.

In contrast, an operation of the vacuum cleaner in the cleaning operation is usually carried out from the front, on which preferably at least one electrical control element is arranged and a suction port for connecting a suction hose.

It is advantageous if the at least one battery receptacle forms a receptacle for the at least one battery, in particular if the receptacle is oriented horizontally. In the receiving shaft, the battery can be reliably held on the battery cover. In addition, the insertion of the battery into and the removal of the battery from the battery holder can be done in a user-friendly manner. The advantageously horizontal orientation of the shaft allows, for example, to support the battery at a bottom of the receptacle, so that the support of the battery in the battery receptacle facilitates and thus the construction of the vacuum cleaner is kept simple. Moreover, unlike an upwardly open battery receptacle, possible accumulation of dirt in the battery receptacle is made more difficult by the horizontally oriented receptacle.

Preferably, the at least one battery projects in a predetermined position in the at least one battery receptacle sections out of this, so that it can be taken by a user in a particularly simple manner to remove them from the battery receptacle.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the vacuum cleaner according to the invention, it is advantageous if the at least one battery receptacle has a protective cover sealingly seals the at least one battery receptacle in a protective position and can be transferred to a release position and vice versa, in which release position the at least one battery of the at least one Battery receptacle can be removed or inserted into this. For improved protection of the battery holder and optionally a battery disposed therein against dirt and / or liquid, in particular spray, the at least one battery holder, the protective cover exhibit. It can be provided that the protective cover assumes the protective position regardless of whether a battery is arranged in the battery holder or not. It is also conceivable that the protective cover assumes the protective position in the absence of a battery, and assumes the release position when arranged in the battery holder battery. This may in particular be the case when the battery, as in the case of the last-described advantageous embodiment of the vacuum cleaner, projects in a predetermined position from the battery receptacle in sections. The protective cover may be clamped and / or latched in the protective and / or in the release position. It can be movably mounted on the battery cover, for example mounted pivotably or displaceably. For example, the protective cover is a flap which pivots when inserting the battery into the battery receptacle in the release position.

Preferably, the battery cover forms a housing cover of a housing of the vacuum cleaner to simplify the structural design of the vacuum cleaner. For example, the battery cover forms a portion of the housing at the top and in the region of a rear side and at rear side portions of the housing.

The battery cover may be movably mounted on the vacuum cleaner, for transferring from the closed position to the open position and vice versa.

In particular, it is advantageous if the battery cover is mounted pivotably on the vacuum cleaner, for transferring from the closed position to the open position and vice versa. For example, the battery cover by means of a hinge defining a pivot axis on the housing of the vacuum cleaner is otherwise maintained. The pivot axis extends, for example, horizontally and transversely of the vacuum cleaner. It is conceivable that the battery cover from the back of the vacuum cleaner can be pivoted forward and upward to transfer from the closed position to the open position.

It is advantageous if the vacuum cleaner comprises a first locking device for locking the battery cover in the open position, because this facilitates the handling of the vacuum cleaner. In the open position, the battery lid is locked, and it is not necessary for a user to hold the battery lid when he wants to access the filter cover.

The locking device is preferably configured as a latching device and / or as a clamping device.

Conveniently, the filter cover of a covering position in which the at least one filter element is covered, in a removal position in which the at least one filter element the clean room side removable and insertable into this, and vice versa, transferable. The cleanroom-side access to the at least one filter element in the removal position of the filter cover facilitates the maintenance of the vacuum cleaner.

The filter cover can be mounted movably on the vacuum cleaner, for transferring from the covering position to the removal position and vice versa.

In particular, it is advantageous if the filter cover is mounted pivotably on the vacuum cleaner, for transferring the covering position into the removal position and vice versa. For example, it is provided to pivot the filter cover upwards and from a rear side of the vacuum cleaner in the direction of a front side. A hinge may define a pivot axis which is preferably parallel to the pivot about which the battery cover is pivotable.

Preferably, the vacuum cleaner comprises a second locking device for locking the filter cover in the removal position. This facilitates a user's maintenance of the vacuum cleaner. In the removal position, the filter cover is locked so that the user can easily access the can access at least one filter element without having to hold the filter cover.

The locking device is preferably configured as a latching device and / or as a clamping device.

The provision of the second locking device does not presuppose the presence of the first locking device and vice versa; The terms "first" and "second" are used herein for better understanding.

It proves to be advantageous if the vacuum cleaner comprises a filter cleaning device for cleaning the at least one filter element. This makes it possible to obtain the suction power of the vacuum cleaner essentially at a constant level by cleaning the at least one filter element. Thus, the change interval for the at least one filter element can be extended. The filter cleaning device can be manually operated. It can also be provided that the filter cleaning device is automatically, for example, time-controlled, actuated by an electronic control unit of the vacuum cleaner. A demand-dependent control of the filter cleaning device depending on the type and amount of sucked in suction is conceivable.

It is advantageous if the filter cleaning device is held on the filter cover, wherein it is particularly preferably at least partially disposed in the suction space. This allows a structurally simple design and compact design of the vacuum cleaner can be achieved. The filter cleaning device can be accessible to the cleanroom side from above after the transfer of the battery cover in the open position. Additionally or alternatively, a lower portion of the filter cleaning device can be accessible after transferring the filter cover in the removal position. In both cases, the filter cleaning device in the vacuum cleaner according to the invention can be maintained in a user-friendly manner.

Preferably, the filter cover closes in the cover position of the filter cover or held on this filter cleaning device in the covering of the filter cover the suction space sealing. This allows a structurally simple embodiment of the vacuum cleaner, in which a separate sealing of the suction can be saved.

The vacuum cleaner may in particular be a bagless vacuum cleaner, for example a so-called wet-dry vacuum cleaner, which is suitable for sucking in both solid particles and liquid.

The dirt collecting container, especially in the case of the last-mentioned advantageous embodiment of the vacuum cleaner, can be configured in particular bucket-shaped or trough-shaped, and is preferably accommodated in a lower part of the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner may comprise an upper part which receives the at least one filter element, the filter cover, the battery cover, the suction unit and an electronic control unit, in particular a so-called "suction head" which is detachably mounted on the lower part.

Preferably, the vacuum cleaner is a hybrid vacuum cleaner having a connectable to a power supply network connection cable for providing electrical energy for the vacuum cleaner. This allows a more versatile use of the vacuum cleaner, which can be operated both in network operation as well as in battery operation. It can be provided that the at least one battery can be charged in the at least one battery receptacle when the connection cable is connected to the energy supply network.

The following description of preferred embodiments of the invention is used in conjunction with the drawings for a more detailed explanation of the invention. Show it:
  • FIG. 1 a perspective view of a first preferred embodiment of a vacuum cleaner according to the invention, comprising a battery lid engaging a closed position;
  • FIG. 2 : the vacuum cleaner off FIG. 1 wherein the battery lid assumes an open position;

  • FIG. 4 : A perspective view of a second preferred embodiment of a vacuum cleaner according to the invention.

The FIGS. 1 to 3 show a first preferred embodiment of a total occupied by the reference numeral 10 according to the invention vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner 10 is a so-called wet / dry vacuum cleaner, which is suitable for sucking both solids and liquids.

The vacuum cleaner 10 comprises a lower part 12, which comprises a running gear 14 with two wheels 20 and 22 arranged on a rear side 16 of the vacuum cleaner 10 and rotatable about a common axis of rotation 18. At a front side 24 of the vacuum cleaner 10, the chassis 14 comprises two swivel castors, of which only one steering roller 26 is shown.

The vacuum cleaner 10 may have a push bar, not shown in the drawing on the back 16 to move the vacuum cleaner 10 on a bottom surface 66.

The lower part 12 forms a dirt collecting container 28, can be deposited in the sucked dirt. Suction material can be sucked through a suction inlet 30 on the front side 24 into the dirt collecting container 28. At the suction inlet 30 is in a conventional manner, an in FIG. 3 Sectionally illustrated suction hose 32 connected to the vacuum cleaner 10 end facing away from a suction nozzle is arranged. Furthermore, the vacuum cleaner 10 comprises a lower part 12 releasably mounted upper part 34, a so-called "suction head". The upper part 34 and the lower part 12 together form a housing 36 of the vacuum cleaner 10.

As is apparent in particular from the schematic representation in FIG FIG. 3 shows, the upper part 34 receiving spaces 38 and 40, in which a suction unit 42 and an electronic control unit 44 are arranged. The suction unit 42 and the control unit 44 are arranged one above the other, in the region of a front half of the upper part 34 facing the front side 24.

The receiving space 38 opens via a suction chamber 46 into the dirt collecting container 28, so that it is acted upon by the vacuum unit 42 with negative pressure via the suction chamber 46, and suction material can be sucked in.

An intermediate wall 48 between the dirt collecting container 28 on the one hand and the receiving space 38 and the suction chamber 46 on the other hand, a filter element 50 receives. The filter element 50, for example, a flat fold filter made of a paper material, is used for filtering the sucked by the suction unit 42 air.

With increasing operation of the vacuum cleaner 10, particles settle on the filter element 50, so that the pressure in the dirt collector 28 increases, and suction material can be sucked into this only with reduced power. To clean the filter element 50 and thereby maintain the lowest possible pressure in the dirt collecting container 28, the vacuum cleaner 10 has a filter cleaning device 52. The filter cleaning device 52 is arranged above the filter element 50 and held on a filter cover 54, which covers the filter element 50 in a covering position sealing. This makes it possible to save a separate seal of the suction space 46 upwards.

The filter cleaning device 52 can be controlled electronically by the control unit 44. This is, as well as the structure of the filter cleaning device 52, known per se, and is therefore not discussed herein. By way of example, the filter cleaning device 52 comprises a valve which can be opened by the control unit 44 at regular intervals, so that the filter element 50 is subjected to pressure surges on the cleanroom side (that is, from the side facing away from the dirt collecting container 28). The pressure surges are formed as a result of inflowing external air, which can flow into the upper part 34 through a foreign air opening, not shown in the drawing, so that the filter element 50 is acted upon open room with external air at atmospheric pressure with the closing valve open.

The filter cover 54 is, see in particular FIG. 2 sectionally plate-shaped and pivotally mounted on the upper part 34 about a pivot axis 56. For this purpose, the filter cover 54 in the longitudinal direction of the vacuum cleaner 10 in front of a bearing element 58 which cooperates with a bearing member 60 formed thereon corresponding to an intermediate wall 62 of the upper part 34 for forming a hinge. The intermediate wall 62 extends from an upper side 64 of the vacuum cleaner 10, and extends down to a plate-shaped portion of the filter cover 54. The pivot axis 56 is oriented horizontally, relative to a positioning of the vacuum cleaner 10 on the horizontal bottom surface 66 (FIGS. FIG. 3 ), and it runs in the transverse direction of the vacuum cleaner 10th

The filter cover 54 is of an in FIG. 2 illustrated covering position in which, as mentioned, the filter element 50 covers, in a not shown in the drawing removal position transferred, and lockable in this. For this purpose, a locking device 68 is provided, which is integrated, for example, in the hinge formed by the bearing elements 58 and 60. The locking device 68 is designed in particular as a latching device and / or clamping device.

In the removal position of the filter cover 54, the user has in a simple way from the back 16 access to the filter element 50, so that this user-friendly clean room side removed from the vacuum cleaner 10 and can be used in this. The prerequisite for this is that a battery lid 70 of the upper part 34, which will be discussed below, assumes an open position (FIG. FIG. 2 ).

The battery cover 70 is designed as a housing cover and thus part of the housing 36 and arranged in the region of the top 64, the back 16 and the rear portions of left and right sides of the vacuum cleaner 10. At the top 64, the vacuum cleaner 10 has a ceiling wall 72, with a first wall portion 74 and a second wall portion 76, wherein the first wall portion 74 covers the receiving space 40, and the second wall portion 76 is covered by the battery cover 70. The wall sections 74 and 76 form cooperating bearing elements to form a hinge at the top 64 that defines a pivot axis 78. The pivot axis 78 extends parallel to the pivot axis 56, and thus horizontally and transversely of the vacuum cleaner 10th

The battery cover 70 further comprises side wall sections 80 and 82 on the left or right of the vacuum cleaner 10, and a rear wall section 84 on the rear side 16.

The battery cover 70 is disposed above the filter cover 54 and covers it in a closed position. In the closed position of the battery cover 70, the housing 36 is closed, wherein the wall portions 74 and 80 to 84 are aligned with the remaining wall portions of the housing 36 at the top 64, rear 16 and left and right side.

By pivoting about the pivot axis 78 from the rear side 16 to the front, the battery cover 70 can be converted into the already mentioned open position. The vacuum cleaner 10 includes for locking the battery cover 70 in the open position, a locking device 86, for example is formed by the hinge forming wall portions 74 and 76. The locking device 86 is in the present case designed in particular as a latching device and / or as a clamping device.

The vacuum cleaner 10 is a so-called hybrid vacuum cleaner, to which electrical energy can be fed on the one hand via a connection cable 88 arranged on the rear side 16 (only in FIG FIG. 1 shown). On the other hand, the vacuum cleaner 10 electrical energy via two rechargeable batteries, such as lithium-ion batteries 90, are supplied. Both batteries 90 are accommodated in battery receptacles 92, which comprises the battery cover 70 and are arranged in this, in particular in these are integrated.

The battery receptacles 92 are each configured like a shaft and aligned horizontally, and comprise an opening 94 arranged on the rear side 16. Via the opening 94, the respective battery 90 can be inserted into the respective battery receptacle 92 and removed therefrom. The horizontal orientation of the battery receptacles 92 allows a structurally simple embodiment in which the batteries 90 can be supported on bottoms of the battery holders 92 down. In addition, the accumulation of dirt in the battery receptacles 92 is difficult, unlike, for example, upwardly extending battery receptacles with overhead openings.

The replacement of the batteries 90 is user-friendly for a user by pushing the batteries 90 horizontally into and out of the battery holders 92. FIG. 1 shows how one of the batteries 90 (in the drawing, the right battery 90) is partially inserted into its associated battery receptacle 92.

In the desired position, the batteries 90 protrude in sections out of the battery holders 92 (see the left battery 90 in FIG FIG. 1 and the batteries 90 in figure 2 ). This facilitates a user grasping the batteries 90 to take them out of the battery holders 92.

When pivoting the battery cover 70, the batteries 90 also pivot about the pivot axis 78. This gives the ability to raise the battery cover 70 by pivoting, so that the batteries 90 can be reached in a still simpler manner by a user ( FIG. 2 ).

It is conceivable that the batteries 90 are charged in the battery holders 92 when the vacuum cleaner 10 is operated by supplying power via the connection cable 88.

When vacuum cleaner 10 according to the invention the possibility is given to achieve a compact design by the arrangement of the battery cover 70 with integrated battery receptacles 92 above the filter cover 54. In particular, it is possible to arrange the control unit 44 laterally next to the battery cover 70, and the suction unit 42 laterally next to the filter cover 54 and the filter element 50. The vacuum cleaner 10 thus has a slim construction, and on the bottom surface 66 only a small space is claimed.

The arrangement of the battery receptacles 92 in the battery cover 70 also makes it possible to save battery receptacles on the filter cover 54, as for example in the in the cited document WO 2012/062579 A1 described vacuum cleaner is the case. This makes it possible to reduce the height of the filter cover 54, and to equip the vacuum cleaner 10 so that overall with a compact design.

If the battery cover 70 is transferred to the open position, the user is also more easily the pureraumseitige access to the filter cover 54 allows. Unlike the vacuum cleaner described in the above-mentioned document, it is not necessary to previously Batteries 90 take the battery holders 92. These may rather remain in the battery cover 70.

FIG. 4 shows in one of the FIG. 1 corresponding manner, a second preferred embodiment of a total occupied by the reference numeral 100 vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner 100 is designed substantially identical to the vacuum cleaner 10, and the achievable with this advantages can also be achieved with the vacuum cleaner 100. For identical and equivalent features and components of the vacuum cleaner 10 and 100, therefore, identical reference numerals are used, and below, only the essential differences of the two vacuum cleaners 10 and 100 are discussed.

In the vacuum cleaner 100, the battery receptacles 92 include protective covers 102 for closing the openings 94 on the back 16. The protective covers 102 are provided to protect the battery receptacles 92 from ingress of dirt and liquid, such as splashing water. For this purpose, the protective covers can occupy protective positions in which the openings 94 are sealed. By means of an actuating element 104, for example in the form of a handle, the protective covers 102 can be transferred to a release position in which the batteries 90 can be inserted into or removed from the battery holders 92.

It is also conceivable that the protective covers 102 occupy a protective position only if no batteries 90 are arranged in the battery holders 92; otherwise, the protective covers 102 can assume the release position, in which case the batteries 90 can protrude in sections from the battery holders 92.

The protective covers 102 may be held on the battery holder 92 incidentally, for example, clamping and / or detent. Furthermore, a movable mounting of the protective covers 102 is possible, in particular a pivotable or displaceable mounting.
