Definitions

  • the field of the invention is that toilet flushing mechanisms installed in a tank, allowing the control of a control member maneuvered by a user, quickly evacuate water from the tank to the bowl a toilet then, after filling the tank, to effectively seal the tank to prevent any water leakage until a new hunt.
  • a third type of known mechanism is a siphonic mechanism that pushes a column of water to create the siphonic effect.
  • the prior art concerning this third type of mechanism can be illustrated by the patent FR 2,740,794 .
  • An advantage of this type of mechanism is that it does not require a high control effort. However, there is a need to improve this type of mechanism.
  • the invention particularly aims to provide an effective solution to at least some of the disadvantages of the prior art.
  • an object of the invention is to provide a siphonic mechanism operating in push mode that is reliable at each use.
  • the invention also aims, according to at least one embodiment, to provide such a siphonic flush mechanism that allows to solve a permanent leakage problem in case of low flow of the water network caused by a support maintained on the control button or with a deliberately low force and a slow speed of support on the control button or during a return to service after a change of equipment (batteries, tap ).
  • Another object of the invention is, according to at least one embodiment, to provide such a flushing mechanism that does not require a control effort too high for the user.
  • the invention there is a reliable hunting mechanism, requiring no high control effort.
  • thanks to the lifting means of a water column it is possible to renew the air of the volume of air trapped essentially between a wall of the movable element and the outer wall of the fixed element.
  • the lifting means of a water column allow, when actuated via the control member, to evacuate a column of water present in the siphon, so as to recreate a volume of air necessary for the formation of an air seal for the siphon.
  • water column is meant a body of water stored vertically.
  • the water column may be annular, for example.
  • the movable element and the bell integral with it may occupy a high position, at rest, or a low position, after actuation of the control member by a user.
  • the passage in the lower position through the actuation of the control member allows to put under water the mechanism, so that it initiates siphoning and thus the evacuation of water from the reservoir to the toilet bowl.
  • the movable element and the bell advantageously remain in the low position during the entire evacuation of the water.
  • the height of the fixed element is less than the height of the water contained in the reservoir when the reservoir is full, that is to say at its maximum level, makes it possible in particular to limit the downward movement of the movable member to move from the high position to the low position, to put under the water the bell as quickly as possible, when actuating the control member.
  • the means for lifting a water column comprise, in a particular embodiment, a scraper forming a substantially horizontal annular plate integral with a wall of the movable element, the scraper providing at least one annular clearance with the wall outer part of the fixed element to allow the flow of water.
  • the scraper removes water between the outer wall of the fixed element and the relevant wall of the movable element whose scraper is secured.
  • the mechanism advantageously comprises means for returning the lifting means of a water column, said return means being chosen from the group consisting of: a spring, a float, in particular positioned on the bell or the mobile element, a mechanical means of return, a motor, or any other means of return.
  • the return means can be configured to contribute to the rise, particularly fast, means for lifting a water column, and therefore the movable member and vice versa.
  • the presence of means of recall can in particular accelerate the raising of the lifting means of a water column, so as to effectively remove water from the column concerned.
  • the bell may include an opening configured to, after evacuation of a predetermined amount of water out of the tank, allow air to be introduced under the bell so as to interrupt the evacuation of water, so as to carry out a small hunt of water.
  • the mechanism may, in this case, comprise a shutter of the opening, configured to occupy two positions: a closed position to close the opening so as to allow the total or almost total evacuation of the water from the opening. tank to achieve a large flush and an open position to not close the opening to achieve a small flush.
  • This mechanism therefore allows the user to have the choice between a large hunt and a small hunt.
  • the mechanism may comprise a lever controlled, directly or indirectly, by the control member and acting on the shutter, to put it in the closed position or in the open position.
  • control member allows, via the lever, to control the shutter or not the opening of the bell by the shutter and simultaneously to engage a large or a little hunt, respectively.
  • the opening made on the bell is advantageously provided externally with at least one duct extending towards the bottom of the tank and having a predetermined length depending on the amount of water discharged from the small flush, and / or from the big flush.
  • the mechanism comprises at least two, for example exactly two ducts, one for large hunting and the other for small hunting.

  • this wall makes it possible for example to interrupt the flow of water discharged only when there is massive inflow of air and not a slight leakage of air through the opening, especially if it is not completely closed.
  • the fixed element can be made in one piece with the reservoir. This is particularly the case for example for a tank of polymer material. In a variant, particularly in the case of a tank made of ceramic material, the fixed element can be made independently of the tank and be attached thereto.
  • the movable element may for example comprise two separate parts connected together in a fixed and sealed manner, consisting of an inner part of movable element and an outer part of movable element.

  • the inner part of the movable element may comprise the inner wall of the movable element and a portion of the intermediate wall
  • the outer mobile element part may comprise the outer wall of the movable element and the wall intermediate
  • the lifting means of a water column may be integral with the intermediate wall of the movable element and be configured to allow the evacuation of a water column present between the intermediate wall of the movable element and the outer wall of the fixed element.
  • the intermediate wall may have an upper portion and a lower portion, the thickness of the upper portion being greater than the thickness of the lower portion.
  • the shape of the space created between the outer wall of the fixed element and the intermediate wall may comprise a baffle, with a thin space at the top of the walls and an enlarged space at the bottom, this expanded space being able to be the place of presence of means for lifting a column of water.
  • This baffle which takes up space when the movable element is in the lower position during the evacuation of the water out of the tank, can allow, during the ascent of the movable element to a high position, to release the occupied space, which allows to renew the air present in the space. Indeed, the fact of releasing space allows the air to be inserted.
  • the section between the lower portion of the intermediate wall of the movable element and the outer wall of the fixed element is advantageously greater than the section between the outer wall of the movable element and the outer wall of the fixed element.
