Abstract

The solution to this problem provides a high chair of the type mentioned above with the characterizing features of claim 1. According to the invention, it is provided that the cup-shaped seat comprises a slightly larger outer seating shell in the receiving volume, as well as a slightly smaller inner seat pan, which can be fixed to the outer seat shell and can be fitted in the receiving volume. This variant opens up the possibility of taking the inner seat shell out of the outer seat shell and thereby creating a seat with a larger receiving volume, whereby a larger child can be seated in the chair. This results in a use of the high chair over a longer period of time, since the seat is virtually adaptable to the size of the child. A preferred development of the invention provides for securing the inner seat shell to the outer seat shell locking elements on the one shell, which can be latched into recesses or corresponding locking elements of the other shell.

In order to create a larger receiving volume after removing the inner seat shell, the outer seat shell preferably has a greater inner width and / or greater inner height and / or a greater inner depth, approximately perpendicular extension to the inner height, and / or a lower one Height of the seat relative to the ground on which the foot part rests, compared to the inner shell. The present invention is further a novel constructive solution for tilt adjustment of a high chair of the type mentioned. When the seat is pivoted to a shallower position, the center of gravity shifts forward in the high chair according to the invention. If the inclination of the height adjustment is towards the back, then the center of gravity is shifted slightly backwards, thus resulting in a certain compensation.

Preferably, according to a development of the invention, provision is made for the height adjustment to be telescopic, comprising an outer pillar which is inclined to the vertical and from which at least one inner rod can be telescopically extended, to which the guide device is attached or a rod attached to the foot part opposite to which an outer column is movable in height to which the guide device is attached.
