Definitions

  • the invention relates to a submerged surface cleaner with a propellant jet of water.
  • the propellant submerged surface submerged surface cleaning apparatuses usually comprise water jet propulsion means generating a propellant jet of water, and means for orienting the propellant jet of water adapted to allow orienting said water jet in two opposite, so-called longitudinal, directions of propulsion capable of conferring on the cleaning apparatus two opposite directions of movement along an axis of displacement.
  • Such cleaning apparatus in particular described in the patents FR 2896005 or FR 2586054 , simply comprise a turbine or a nozzle supplied either by onboard motor means or by the discharge circuit of the pond filtration system, and constitute a range of apparatus designed to move on the bottom wall of the basins, the price of which This cost is notably lower than the cost price of sophisticated equipment designed to move on the bottom wall and the side walls of the basins.
  • the present invention aims to overcome this drawback and its main purpose is to provide a cleaning device combining the advantages of current propellant water jet devices (simplicity, low cost %) and an effective cleaning capacity of the the entire surface of the bottom walls of the basins without requiring human intervention.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a cleaning apparatus of optimized use optimally.
  • the invention aims, in the first place, a cleaning device whose means of orientation of the jet of propellant water are adapted to to orient the jet of propellant water, not only in two opposite longitudinal propulsion directions, but, in addition, in at least one third, so-called lateral, propulsion direction, in which the said jet of water is oriented in a direction secant direction relative to the longitudinal axis of movement adapted to exert a force capable of causing a pivoting by oversteering of the cleaning apparatus.
  • the cleaning apparatus according to the invention is described, in the present application, positioned on a bottom wall of a pool such as a swimming pool, and the terms such as above, below, superior, inferior .... must be interpreted taking into consideration such positioning.
  • This cleaning apparatus can therefore carry out movement sequences incorporating longitudinal displacements and "turns" which, by means of an adequate programming of the said sequences of movements, in particular determined according to the shape and dimensions of the basins, make it possible to obtain efficient cleaning. the entire surface of the bottom wall of the basins without requiring human intervention.
  • the means for orienting the propulsive water jet are adapted to allow said water jet to be oriented in two opposite lateral propulsion directions that are symmetrical with respect to the axis of the jet of water. displacement.
  • the cleaning apparatus advantageously comprises means for controlling the means for orienting the propulsive water jet capable of generating sequences of movements comprising longitudinal displacements along the axis of displacement, alternatively in both directions of travel, and turns in at least one direction of rotation.
  • the cleaning apparatus can thus pivot in both directions and thus has an increased movement capacity.
  • orientation means of the propellant water jet are advantageously adapted, according to the invention, so that, in each direction of lateral propulsion, the jet of propellant water is propelled in the vicinity of one of the longitudinal ends of the cleaning apparatus, with an orientation at least substantially orthogonal to the axis of displacement.
  • the jet of propellant water is preferably oriented, in each direction of lateral propulsion, relative to the axis of rotation of one of the sets of rolling members.
  • This arrangement makes it possible to obtain maximum pivoting torque in each direction of lateral propulsion of the propellant jet of water, thus ensuring effective and rapid pivoting of the cleaning apparatus.
  • the suction of the water for its filtration and the creation of the propellant water jet are achieved by means of a single turbine which thus provides the two functions of filtration and propulsion.
  • the rotary distributor then advantageously comprises, according to the invention, water passage openings arranged opposite the feed opening of the suction chamber and adapted, on the one hand, to be disengaged in each of the lateral propulsion positions, and secondly, to be obstructed in the two longitudinal propulsion positions.
  • the suction chamber is fed directly by means of the water penetrating through the upper openings of the water passage. Therefore, during pivoting, the cleaning device is not subject to the adhesion force generated by the vacuum resulting from the suction of water through the suction openings (Bernoulli effect).
  • the feed rate of the suction chamber is independent of the filling rate and / or clogging of the filtration means.
  • the amplitude of the pivoting remains constant regardless of this degree of filling and / or clogging, and can be determined precisely.
  • the cleaning apparatus advantageously comprises a cowling adapted to house the rotary distributor, in which are formed, on the one hand, the fixed propulsion vents, and secondly, lights adapted to be in correspondence with said water passage openings in each of the two lateral propulsion positions.
  • the cleaning apparatus comprises a frame having the form of a frame defining a volume adapted to house a removable filtration tank enclosing the filtering means and having a lower wall in which is provided each suction opening.
  • the shape of the frame is advantageously adapted so that the cleaning device can be placed edge in a position allowing the removal of the filter tank.
  • access to the filter tank and the removal and then the replacement of the latter are extremely easy.
  • the cleaning apparatus also advantageously comprises, according to the invention, on each side of each suction opening along the axis of longitudinal displacement, a lip extending on the edge of said suction opening. , of suitable height to delimit, above the immersed surface, a suction passage of reduced section.
  • the indexing means comprise radial stop members protruding on the circumference of the rotary distributor, and an abutment member associated with actuating means able to move the said stop member between interception positions of the stop members and retracted positions relative to said stop members.
  • actuating means are, moreover, advantageously according to the invention, of the electric power supply type and have an active state, obtained during their electrical supply, for holding the stop member in its interception position of the organs stopper defining the lateral propulsion positions of the rotary distributor, and a passive state, obtained in the absence of an electrical supply, for holding the stopper member in its intercepting position of the stop members defining the positions longitudinal propulsion of the rotary distributor.
