Definitions
- the invention relates to an arrangement for ventilation of a room, in particular a laboratory room, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- an arrangement for ventilating a laboratory room which has a corridor area which is delimited on both sides by work tables.
- Fresh air is introduced into the room via a supply air duct located above the aisle area, which comprises two lateral air supply sections that extend along the aisle area and each have a large number of circular air outlet openings from which the supply air emerges laterally towards the work tables is extracted again via an exhaust air duct arranged above it, which has two slot-like suction openings which extend essentially parallel to the supply air duct and which are arranged in the area of the ceiling of the room in such a way that an air roller forms on both sides of the aisle area, via which in the area of the work tables heated supply air reaches the ceiling of the room in the vertical direction.
- the table tops of the work tables are flush with the rear with a rear wall on which the air rises from the area above the table tops.
- the air heated below the table tops flows towards the center of the aisle area over the edge of the table tops and mixes there with the cool fresh air supplied from above. This results in a mixture of cool fresh air supplied and rising warm air, which is the amount of supplied Fresh air and thereby the energy required to provide the fresh air is increased.
- the WO 2012/031700 A1 thus discloses an arrangement for ventilation according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the invention includes an arrangement for ventilation of a room, in particular a laboratory room, which has a corridor area which is delimited on both sides by work tables, an inlet air duct arranged above the aisle area for the supply of preferably cooled fresh air into the room, which is subsequently also referred to as supply air referred to as.
- the supply air duct can either be configured as an elongated continuous sheet metal duct with a preferably rectangular cross-section and two elongated slot nozzles arranged on the side of the longitudinal axis and directed downwards, which are supplied with fresh air from one end of the sheet metal duct via a transverse line.
- the supply air duct is a preferably D-shaped hollow body made of a preferably flexible material, e.g. from an air-permeable textile or from a plastic film that has a large number of air outlet openings from which the supply air exits above the aisle area.
- the supply air duct has two lateral air supply sections, preferably in the form of strips, which extend along the aisle area and each have a multiplicity of circular air outlet openings, which are preferably introduced into the air supply sections as perforations, for example with the aid of a laser or the like, and from which the supply air preferably exits exclusively in the lateral direction, ie at an angle to the vertical central axis of the aisle area, in the direction of the work tables.
- the two lateral air supply sections are spaced apart from one another by an essentially air-impermeable central separating section, the central longitudinal axis of which preferably runs along the central central plane of the aisle area and which separates the first and second air supply sections.
- an exhaust air duct is arranged above the supply air duct, which in the same way as the supply air duct preferably extends along the vertical center plane of the aisle area and exhausts the used and heated exhaust air compared to the supply air leads away from the room.
- the exhaust air duct preferably has two slot-like suction openings which extend essentially parallel to the supply air duct and which are arranged at the highest possible point in the area of the building ceiling of the room.
- the outflow angle and the size of the slot nozzles of the supply air duct according to the embodiment described first, or the size and number of air outlet openings arranged in the two lateral air supply sections and the width of the separating section of the last-described embodiment of the supply air duct are in the same way as the size and shape of the air extraction openings of the exhaust air duct is selected such that an air roller or an air vortex forms on both sides of the aisle area, the center of which is preferably approximately in the region of the aisle-side edge of the work tables and preferably at half the distance between the supply air duct and the floor.
- the supply air duct or its hollow body can also consist of an air-permeable textile material in the preferred embodiment described last, it particularly preferably consists of a thin, in particular also translucent membrane with low air permeability, for example made of a plastic-coated textile fabric.
- the supply air duct preferably extends over the entire length of the aisle area of the laboratory and, in the case of a plurality of laboratory workstations arranged one after the other, can preferably also extend over the entire length of the central aisles of all laboratories.
- the perforation which is preferably introduced as a microperforation with a hole size in the range between 0.1 mm and 1 mm, preferably 0.4 to 0.6 mm and particularly preferably 0.5 mm in the material of the supply air duct which is essentially impermeable to air in the preferred embodiment is interrupted in the area of the central separating section to form the same.
- the air outlet openings of the microperforation are advantageously arranged in rows transverse to the longitudinal axis of the aisle area at a distance of one to a few cm, preferably 2 cm.
- the air outlet openings in the preferred embodiment of the invention have a distance of approximately 4 mm, which in the case of a standard laboratory results in an air exchange rate in the area between 12.5 and 37.5 m 3 / m 2 / h , which is about 4 to 12 times the air exchange rate in a standard laboratory.
- the invention is characterized in that at least one of the work tables, but preferably all work tables, have a slot-like opening in the area of their rear side, through which warm air from the area under the table top, e.g. is generated by electrical devices such as workstations, refrigerators, power strips etc. as well as the body heat of people working at the tables, can flow upwards out of this area.
- the slot-like opening can either be formed in the table top of the worktable, or can be formed on the rear of the rear edge of the table top by a recess which preferably extends between the two rear vertical posts or table legs of the table, if this in a known manner has a supporting frame , preferably made of metal.
- vertical guide plates are arranged in the area of the rear of the work tables, which preferably extend in the vertical direction both in the area below and in the area above the table tops, and which serve as guide surfaces on which the heated air rises.
- the resulting Coanda effect moves the rising warm air from the area below the table top towards the guide surface and pushes it towards it during the upflow, which advantageously leads to a channeling of the rising air through the guide surface , which means that it no longer mixes so strongly with the cool fresh air flowing in from above. This further reduces the energy requirement of the arrangement according to the invention.
- a first guide plate is arranged below the table top, and / or a second guide plate extends upwards from the slot-like opening towards the ceiling of the room.
- the second guide plate is preferably formed from a material which is particularly opaque to laser light and / or a fire-retardant material or a material with high mechanical strength, in particular an explosion-resistant material .
- the guide plate advantageously also fulfills the function of protection against laser radiation, a fire protection barrier and / or splinter protection.
- the second guide plate can also be made of a transparent material, preferably of glass or plexiglass, in order to maintain the flow-related advantages despite the spatial separation of two workplaces opposite one another on the rear and at the same time to enable a view through.
- the at least one work table preferably has a frame which has two rear frame posts, between which the slot-like opening extends.
- the two rear posts are preferably designed as metal or plastic profiles, which can be extended in the vertical direction via additional posts placed on them.
- the lower frame post can be connected, preferably receiving grooves for receiving further vertical guide plates and / or horizontal shelves or energy channels, or horizontal supports on which the horizontal shelves or energy channels rest, can be provided.
- the shelves also only extend up to the vertical plane of the aisle-side longitudinal edge of the slot-shaped opening, so that the warm air rising from the opening in the table top or in the work table also flows freely into the free space behind the shelves and into the ceiling area can.
- At least one of the longitudinal edges of the slot-shaped opening, in particular the longitudinal edge on the aisle side, to support the flow movement of the air rising from the area under the table top has an arcuate rounded cross-sectional shape, preferably a trumpet-shaped or venturi-shaped cross-sectional shape. This ensures that the rising warm air is concentrated in an even narrower area, which additionally counteracts mixing with the supplied cold air.
- the invention relates to the advantageous use of at least one work table with a frame and a table top which has a slot-like opening in the area of its rear side, through which warm air can flow upwards from the area below the table top, in a previously described arrangement for ventilation of a Laboratory room.
- the supply air duct 8 has two lateral air supply sections 8a, 8b which extend along the aisle area 4 and which each have a multiplicity of circular air outlet openings 10 from which the supply air emerges laterally in the direction of the work tables 6a, 6b.
- the two lateral air supply sections 8a, 8b are separated from one another by an essentially airtight central separating section which, for example, has 1/3 the width of the supply air duct 8 and has no air outlet openings.
- the supply air duct 8 consists of a flexible textile material which is essentially impermeable to air and has the cross-sectional shape of a hanging D which is received on two spaced-apart supports 12a, 12b of a support frame, which is otherwise not shown in detail.
- media lines 30 for, for example, water, gas, electricity, etc. are guided according to the invention, which are supported, for example, by a crossbeam, not specified, and by which Are accessible from the side.
- an exhaust air duct 14 Arranged above the supply air duct 8 at a distance of, for example, 80 cm to 1 m is an exhaust air duct 14 which comprises two slot-like suction openings 14a, 14b which extend essentially parallel to the supply air duct 8 and which are arranged in the region of the ceiling 16 of the room 2, such that that an air roller 18a, 18b is formed on both sides of the aisle area 4, which in the area of the work tables 6a, 6b by heat sources 20a, 20b, such as screens, electrical appliances or cooking devices etc., generates warm air in the vertical direction in the area of the Ceiling 16 of the room 2 promotes from where it is deflected in the direction of the suction openings 14a, 14b and sucked into it by a blower, not shown, as indicated by the arrows in the Figure 1 is indicated.
- the work table 6a is provided according to the invention with a slot-shaped opening 100 which is arranged in the table top 110 of the table 6a.
- the work table 6b on the opposite right-hand side which is also drawn to illustrate the different flow conditions, is a conventional work table which has a closed table top under which the air heated by people and electrical devices 112b is stowed.

- further posts 118b can be placed on the posts 118a in the vertical direction, which are provided in the same way as the posts 118 with vertical longitudinal grooves into which the guide plates 114a, 114b are inserted.
- At least one of the longitudinal edges 120 of the slot-shaped opening 100 has an arcuate rounded cross-sectional shape 122 to support the flow movement of the inflowing air under the table top 110.
- This cross-sectional shape 122 is preferably trumpet-shaped or venturi-shaped, as shown in FIG Fig. 2 is indicated. This configuration of the longitudinal edge as a flow profile results in a shift of the ascending warm air flow towards the second leiplate 114b, which results in a narrower flow zone, viewed from the side, in which the air rises.

Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide an arrangement for ventilating a room, with which the need for energy which is required to provide the cooled fresh air supplied can be further reduced.
This object is achieved by the features of
The invention includes an arrangement for ventilation of a room, in particular a laboratory room, which has a corridor area which is delimited on both sides by work tables, an inlet air duct arranged above the aisle area for the supply of preferably cooled fresh air into the room, which is subsequently also referred to as supply air referred to as. The supply air duct can either be configured as an elongated continuous sheet metal duct with a preferably rectangular cross-section and two elongated slot nozzles arranged on the side of the longitudinal axis and directed downwards, which are supplied with fresh air from one end of the sheet metal duct via a transverse line. It is also possible to assemble the supply air duct by means of several elongated, cassette-like sections with slot nozzles pointing downwards in pairs, whereby the sections can each have a length in the range from 1.5 to 4 m and each individually and separately from above are fed via supply air pipes that originate from a central main supply air line. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, however, the supply air duct is a preferably D-shaped hollow body made of a preferably flexible material, e.g. from an air-permeable textile or from a plastic film that has a large number of air outlet openings from which the supply air exits above the aisle area.
In this embodiment, the supply air duct has two lateral air supply sections, preferably in the form of strips, which extend along the aisle area and each have a multiplicity of circular air outlet openings, which are preferably introduced into the air supply sections as perforations, for example with the aid of a laser or the like, and from which the supply air preferably exits exclusively in the lateral direction, ie at an angle to the vertical central axis of the aisle area, in the direction of the work tables. The two lateral air supply sections are spaced apart from one another by an essentially air-impermeable central separating section, the central longitudinal axis of which preferably runs along the central central plane of the aisle area and which separates the first and second air supply sections.
At a distance of preferably 0.8 m to 1.5 m, an exhaust air duct is arranged above the supply air duct, which in the same way as the supply air duct preferably extends along the vertical center plane of the aisle area and exhausts the used and heated exhaust air compared to the supply air leads away from the room.
The exhaust air duct preferably has two slot-like suction openings which extend essentially parallel to the supply air duct and which are arranged at the highest possible point in the area of the building ceiling of the room.
The outflow angle and the size of the slot nozzles of the supply air duct according to the embodiment described first, or the size and number of air outlet openings arranged in the two lateral air supply sections and the width of the separating section of the last-described embodiment of the supply air duct are in the same way as the size and shape of the air extraction openings of the exhaust air duct is selected such that an air roller or an air vortex forms on both sides of the aisle area, the center of which is preferably approximately in the region of the aisle-side edge of the work tables and preferably at half the distance between the supply air duct and the floor.
Although the supply air duct or its hollow body can also consist of an air-permeable textile material in the preferred embodiment described last, it particularly preferably consists of a thin, in particular also translucent membrane with low air permeability, for example made of a plastic-coated textile fabric. The supply air duct preferably extends over the entire length of the aisle area of the laboratory and, in the case of a plurality of laboratory workstations arranged one after the other, can preferably also extend over the entire length of the central aisles of all laboratories. The perforation which is preferably introduced as a microperforation with a hole size in the range between 0.1 mm and 1 mm, preferably 0.4 to 0.6 mm and particularly preferably 0.5 mm in the material of the supply air duct which is essentially impermeable to air in the preferred embodiment is interrupted in the area of the central separating section to form the same. The air outlet openings of the microperforation are advantageously arranged in rows transverse to the longitudinal axis of the aisle area at a distance of one to a few cm, preferably 2 cm. In a row, the air outlet openings in the preferred embodiment of the invention have a distance of approximately 4 mm, which in the case of a standard laboratory results in an air exchange rate in the area between 12.5 and 37.5 m 3 / m 2 / h , which is about 4 to 12 times the air exchange rate in a standard laboratory.
The invention is characterized in that at least one of the work tables, but preferably all work tables, have a slot-like opening in the area of their rear side, through which warm air from the area under the table top, e.g. is generated by electrical devices such as workstations, refrigerators, power strips etc. as well as the body heat of people working at the tables, can flow upwards out of this area. The slot-like opening can either be formed in the table top of the worktable, or can be formed on the rear of the rear edge of the table top by a recess which preferably extends between the two rear vertical posts or table legs of the table, if this in a known manner has a supporting frame , preferably made of metal.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, vertical guide plates are arranged in the area of the rear of the work tables, which preferably extend in the vertical direction both in the area below and in the area above the table tops, and which serve as guide surfaces on which the heated air rises. The resulting Coanda effect moves the rising warm air from the area below the table top towards the guide surface and pushes it towards it during the upflow, which advantageously leads to a channeling of the rising air through the guide surface , which means that it no longer mixes so strongly with the cool fresh air flowing in from above. This further reduces the energy requirement of the arrangement according to the invention.
In the preferred embodiment of the invention, a first guide plate is arranged below the table top, and / or a second guide plate extends upwards from the slot-like opening towards the ceiling of the room.
In order to be able to take full advantage of the arrangement according to the invention when the tables are placed one behind the other, the second guide plate is preferably formed from a material which is particularly opaque to laser light and / or a fire-retardant material or a material with high mechanical strength, in particular an explosion-resistant material . As a result, the guide plate advantageously also fulfills the function of protection against laser radiation, a fire protection barrier and / or splinter protection.
Alternatively, the second guide plate can also be made of a transparent material, preferably of glass or plexiglass, in order to maintain the flow-related advantages despite the spatial separation of two workplaces opposite one another on the rear and at the same time to enable a view through.
The at least one work table preferably has a frame which has two rear frame posts, between which the slot-like opening extends. The two rear posts are preferably designed as metal or plastic profiles, which can be extended in the vertical direction via additional posts placed on them. In the attached further posts, which are preferably fixed using connecting elements the lower frame post can be connected, preferably receiving grooves for receiving further vertical guide plates and / or horizontal shelves or energy channels, or horizontal supports on which the horizontal shelves or energy channels rest, can be provided. The shelves also only extend up to the vertical plane of the aisle-side longitudinal edge of the slot-shaped opening, so that the warm air rising from the opening in the table top or in the work table also flows freely into the free space behind the shelves and into the ceiling area can.
According to the invention, at least one of the longitudinal edges of the slot-shaped opening, in particular the longitudinal edge on the aisle side, to support the flow movement of the air rising from the area under the table top, has an arcuate rounded cross-sectional shape, preferably a trumpet-shaped or venturi-shaped cross-sectional shape. This ensures that the rising warm air is concentrated in an even narrower area, which additionally counteracts mixing with the supplied cold air.
Finally, the invention relates to the advantageous use of at least one work table with a frame and a table top which has a slot-like opening in the area of its rear side, through which warm air can flow upwards from the area below the table top, in a previously described arrangement for ventilation of a Laboratory room. Although the invention has been described above and below exclusively using the example of a laboratory room, the arrangement according to the invention can equally be used for ventilation of office rooms which are to be included for protection.
