Accordingly, thecover member 120 may be coupled to the bottom surface of themachine chamber 30 by the at least onefirst fixing member 130 passing through thefastening hole 121 and thefirst fastening hole 15. - The number and positions of the first and second fixing
members - The
cover member 120 may include various colors or patterns to enhance the aesthetic quality. When thecover member 120 is provided to have the same color and texture as those of thehousing 10, the unity with thehousing 10 is promoted. -
FIG. 6 is a view illustrating a cover member of a microwave oven in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure, andFIG. 7 is a view illustrating a bottom surface of the microwave oven to which the cover member ofFIG. 6 is coupled. Referring toFIGS. 6 and7 , acover member 120a may be provided in a bent shape. -
- The bottom surface of the
machine chamber 30 includes agroove part 143 recessed toward themachine chamber 30, and thecover member 120a includes afirst blocking part 140 coupled to a side edge of the bottom surface of themachine chamber 30 and asecond blocking part 141 bentedly extending from thefirst blocking part 140 and accommodated in thegroove part 143. - In addition, the
cover member 120a may further include at least onefastening rib 142 extending from thefirst blocking part 140 and having afastening hole 121a coupled to thegroove part 143. - The
cover member 120a may be coupled to the outer side of the bottom surface of thehousing 10a by fixingmembers - The fixing
members housing 10a may be provided with at least onefirst fastening hole 15a and at least onesecond fastening hole 16a having a shape different from that of the at least onefirst fastening hole 15a. - The
cover member 120a may be provided with the at least onefastening hole 121a corresponding to the at least onefirst fastening hole 15a, and the at least onesecond fixing member 131a corresponding to the at least onesecond fastening hole 16a. The at least onesecond fixing member 131a may include a hook. - As the at least one
second fixing member 131a is fastened to thesecond fastening hole 16a formed through the bottom surface of thehousing 10a, thecover member 120a is temporarily fixed to the outer side of the bottom surface of thehousing 10a, and as the first fixingmember 130a passes through thefastening hole 121a formed through thecover member 120a and thefirst fastening hole 15a formed through the bottom surface of thehousing 10a, thecover member 120a is coupled to the outer side of the bottom surface of thehousing 10a. - The bottom surface of the
microwave oven 1 may be provided with at least onesupport member 110a to support thehousing 10a. Abead 14c also serves to support thehousing 10a in the same manner of thesupport member 110a. -
FIG. 8 is a view illustrating a bottom surface of a microwave oven to which another type of cover member is coupled. - Referring to
FIG. 8 , aboundary 122 may be formed on an outer side of a bottom surface of ahousing 10b. Acover member 120b may form theboundary 122 in asecond region 12b corresponding to a circumference of thehigh voltage transformer 70 to prevent heat generated from thehigh voltage transformer 70 from being transferred to a user through the bottom surface. - In order to have the bottom surface of the
housing 10b spaced apart from the ground by a constant height, thesupport member 110b formed on the bottom surface of thehousing 10b may have the same height as that of abead 14d serving as thesupport 110b. - The
boundary 122 formed in thesecond region 12b may have a height smaller than or equal to those of thesupport member 110b formed on the bottom surface of thehousing 10b and thebead 14d serving as thesupport 110b. - The
boundary 122 may be formed on all or a part of thesecond region 12b corresponding to a circumference of thehigh voltage transformer 70. Theboundary 122 may be formed on a part of thesecond region 12b corresponding to a circumference of thehigh voltage transformer 70 to prevent a part of a user's body from being inserted between a gap between thesecond region 12b corresponding to thehigh voltage transformer 70 and the ground. - Although a few embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it would be appreciated by those skilled in the art that changes may be made in these embodiments without departing from the principles of the invention, the scope of which is defined in the claims.
