Abstract
Description
- Die Erfindung betrifft ein elastisches Bandmaterial mit Kett- und Schussfäden. Solche Materialien finden in vielen Bereichen Verwendung, beispielsweise als Netz-Einfassungen in Flugzeugen, PKW oder sonstigen Fahrzeugen oder auch in der Bekleidungsindustrie, beispielweise bei den Warenbunden. Die elastischen Bänder können auch als Befestigungsmittel, gegebenenfalls in Verbindung mit Klettverschlüssen für Protektoren, Schwimmwesten oder ähnliches benutzt werden. Je nach gewünschter Dehnrichtung können die Kettfäden oder die Schussfäden oder beides elastisch ausgebildet sein, wohingegen die übrigen Fäden inelastisch sind. Auch Bänder, bei denen nur Teilbereiche elastisch, die übrigen Bereiche jedoch inelastisch sind, sind realisierbar. Es ist bekannt, beispielsweise für Kettfäden hochelastische Garne aus synthetischem Kunststoff, insbesondere Aramid- oder Carbonfasern zu verwenden. Die Elastizität des Bandes wird durch Elastomer-Fäden gewährleistet.
- Bei Bekleidungsstücken, die im militärischen Einsatz, bei der Feuerwehr oder der Polizei, aber auch zum Teil in privater Nutzung zum Einsatz kommen, besteht das Problem, dass die nach dem Stand der Technik bekannten Werkstoffe für elastische Bänder unter Flammeinwirkung brennend abtropfen. So hat sich insbesondere das unter dem Namen Elastan bekannte Copolymer aus den Bestandteilen Polyurethan und Polyethylenglykol als nicht flammhemmend erwiesen.
- Es ist daher Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, ein elastisches Bandmaterial zu finden, welche ohne Einschränkung der Gebrauchsfunktion flammhemmend ist.
- Die Lösung wurde mit einem elastischen Bandmaterial mit Kett- und Schussfäden gefunden, bei dem ein Teil der Fäden aus einem synthetischen Kautschuk und der andere Teil aus einer Aramid- oder Carbonfaser besteht, wobei die Fäden aus synthetischem Kautschuk aus einem unter Flammeinwirkung nicht schmelzenden und nicht brennend abtropfenden Material bestehen.
- Dadurch, dass zusätzlich als synthetisches Kautschukmaterial ein nicht schmelzender und nicht brennend abtropfender Stoff verwendet wird, sind die Träger solcher Bänder unter Flammeinwirkung besser als bisher geschützt.
- Vorzugsweise wird als synthetisches Kautschukmaterial Chloropren, Polychloropren oder Chlorbutadien verwendet. Ein solches Bandmaterial besitzt neben der flammhemmenden Wirkung zusätzlich den Vorteil einer hohen Säurebeständigkeit. Überraschenderweise blieb auch unter Flammeinwirkung auf das erfindungsgemäße elastische Bandmaterial die Rauch- und Giftgasentwicklung gering, so dass die Norm nach dem Smoke/Tox-Test erfüllt werden konnte.
- Soweit das Material als Zug- oder Spannmittel im Messebau oder in Gebäuden verwendet wird, können auch Brandschutzprüfungen bestanden werden.
- Das bevorzugte Verhältnis der Anteile des synthetischen Kautschuks zu Aramid- oder Carbonfasern liegt im Bereich zwischen 20 bis 40 / 80 bis 60 Gew%, vorzugsweise bei etwa 30 Gew% synthetischem Kautschuk.
- Das aus den genannten Stoffen gefertigte elastische Bandmaterial kann längselastisch, querelastisch oder bi-elastisch ausgebildet sein. Die entsprechende Ausbildung hängt davon ab, welche der Kett- oder Schussfäden aus elastischem Material gewählt wird.
- In einer weiteren Ausführungsform nach der vorliegenden Erfindung wird das elastische Bandmaterial zu einem Schlauchkörper geformt bzw. verarbeitet.
- Nach einer konkreten Ausführungsform der Erfindung besteht das elastische Band aus einer elastisch dehnbaren Einlage, nämlich einem synthetischen Material aus Chlorbutadien-Kautschuk in Verbindung mit textilen Aramid-Fäden. Der Kautschukanteil betrug 30 Gew% und der Aramidanteil 70 Gew%. Dieses Material war hitzebeständig, besaß eine hohe Wärmeisolierung sowie eine hohe elektrische Festigkeit und eine Säurebeständigkeit. Das elastische Material erwies sich als nicht schmelzend und nicht abtropfend bei Feuereinwirkung.
- Vorzugsweise wird ein solches elastisches Bandmaterial in der Schutzbekleidung bei Behörden, zum Beispiel dem Militär oder der Polizei oder Feuerwehr, eingesetzt. Wie bereits erwähnt, sind auch Einsätze in der Luftfahrtechnik im Interieurbereich oder als Konfektion oder auch als Teil von Rettungswesten, in der Automobilindustrie im Interieurbereich sowie im Innenbereich von Gebäuden, zum Beispiel bei Veranstaltungen, bei denen eine besonders hohe Brandschutzvorschrift gefordert ist.
- Die Breite und Farbe der Bänder sowie die prozentuale Zusammensetzung der unterschiedlichen Kett- und Schussfäden kann variieren. So können insbesondere Kettfäden (oder Schussfäden) aus elastischem und/oder unelastischem Material bestehen, um die Elastizität den jeweiligen Gebrauchsbedingungen anzupassen.
Claims (5)
- Elastisches Bandmaterial mit Kett- und Schussfäden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
ein Teil der Fäden aus einem synthetischen Kautschuk und der andere Teil aus einer Aramid- oder Carbonfaser besteht, wobei die Fäden aus synthetischem Kautschuk aus einem unter Flammeinwirkung nicht schmelzenden und nicht brennend abtropfenden Material bestehen. - Elastisches Bandmaterial nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als synthetisches Kautschuk-Material Chloropren, Polychloropren oder Chlorbutadien verwendet wird.
- Elastisches Bandmaterial nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Verhältnis der Anteile an synthetischem Kautschuk zu Aramid- oder Carbonfasern 20 bis 40 / 80 bis 60 Gew% beträgt.
- Elastisches Bandmaterial nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Band längselastisch, querelastisch oder bi-elastisch ist.
- Elastisches Bandmaterial nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, gekennzeichnet durch eine schlauchartige Form.
