Claims (16)

  1. A door, which in particular consists of glass, comprising an arresting device, with a fitting to be disposed at the door, which fitting accommodates an arresting pin (6), characterized in that the door (1) is provided with a chamfer (2), and in that the fitting includes a shoulder (4) surrounding the chamfer (2), wherein the arresting pin (6) cooperates with an anchoring plate (8) disposed at a floor or at a ceiling, wherein the arresting pin (6) is supported in a through bore (5) of the housing (3) to be displaceable in the direction towards the anchoring plate (8), and a female thread (9) is affixed in the through bore (5), into which the arresting pin (6) is screwed.
  2. The door according to claim 1, characterized in that the chamfer (2) is disposed at the lower edge of the door (1).
  3. The door according to any of the preceding claims, characterized in that the fitting includes a block-shaped housing (3), from which the shoulder (4), which surrounds the chamfer (2), laterally protrudes.
  4. The door according to any of the claims 1 and 3, characterized in that the arresting pin (6) at one of the ends thereof supports a tenon (7) for the engagement into the anchoring plate (8).
  5. The door according to any of the claims 1, 3 or 4, characterized in that the anchoring pin (6), at the other end thereof, is provided with an engaging opening (10) for a tool.
  6. The door according to any of the claims 1, 3 or 5, characterized in that a female thread (9) is affixed in the through bore (5), into which thread the arresting pin (6) is screwed.
  7. The door according to claim 1, characterized in that a bearing bore (11) is provided in the housing (3), which rectangularly crosses the through bore (5).
  8. The door according to claim 7, characterized in that in the bearing bore (11) an eccentric shaft (12) is supported, by means of which the arresting pin (6) may be moved out of the housing (3).
  9. The door according to claim 8, characterized in that the arresting pin (6) is configured as a tube-shaped sleeve, the tenon (7) being disposed at the bottom thereof.
  10. The door according to claim 9, characterized in that, at the end of the sleeve opposite the tenon, a compensating rod (14) is inserted into the sleeve.
  11. The door according to claim 10, characterized in that, between the bottom of the sleeve and the compensating rod (14), a compensating spring (15) is disposed, which rests within the sleeve.
  12. The door according to any of the claims 9 to 11, characterized in that the sleeve props up against a stop (18) of the housing (3) via a helical spring (16), which externally surrounds the sleeve.
  13. The door according to claim 12, characterized in that the compensating spring (15) is configured to be stronger than the helical spring (16).
  14. The door according to any of the claims 8 to 13, characterized in that the eccentric shaft (12) includes two exterior portions (12a) and one eccentric portion (12b) located there between, which is in operative connection with the compensating rod (14).
  15. The door according to claim 14, characterized in that an engagement opening (10) for a tool is disposed in at least one of the exterior portions (12a) of the eccentric rod (12).
  16. The door according to any of the claims 7 to 15, characterized in that the through bore (5) may be closed by means of a covering cap (19).
