Description

The present invention relates to a coupling arrangement for coupling two plates together, for example for use in displaceable and / or mutually rotatable tabletops. Furthermore, a piece of furniture is proposed.
In particular, when furniture is flexible designable pieces of furniture, the need to perform rotations and displacements of plates or part bodies of furniture. Turning is often done by means of hinge mechanisms and displacements by means of mounted guide rails in combination with rollers. In the past, complicated joint mechanisms were used, which allowed simultaneous movement and rotation of part furniture against each other.
In special space conditions, for example in pieces of furniture in Eckensituationen, rotations and displacements are spatially difficult. In addition, heavy tabletops are often to move against each other, which requires a particularly robust mechanism. From the

Often, however, it is necessary to couple and move heavy plates together. For example, it is desirable to be able to guide movable panels on the one hand and to securely connect them to one another on the other hand. Against this background, an object of the present invention is to provide improved coupling possibilities.
Accordingly, a coupling arrangement is proposed for two relatively movable plates with a first and a second guideway and a first and a second guide pin for engagement in the guideway. In this case, the first guideway describes at least a straight section of track with a starting point and an end point. In particular, in a coupling position of the plates to each other, the second guide track describes a first straight section, which is parallel to the first guide track, a circular section and a second straight section which is parallel to the first guide track, wherein a circle center of the circular section in the end of the straight Route of the first guideway lies.
The arrangement of the guideways to each other allows sequential translation, rotation and re-translation. Thereby, the coupling arrangement can be efficiently used in pieces of furniture, which are arranged for example in corners. In this case, the straight sections of the guideways can be arranged, for example, along the bisector of a room corner or a corner of a table.
In one embodiment, the first guideway exclusively comprises a straight line.
In particular, the coupling arrangement permits either translation or rotation in a respective position of the plates. A rotation or rotation simultaneously with a displacement is preferably not possible due to the geometry of the guideways.
The guideways may, for example, be in the form of grooves and the guide pins or guide pins may be designed in the manner of groove stones. It is possible to provide the guide track in a first coupling plate and the guide pins on a second coupling plate, wherein the coupling plates are attached to the relatively movable plates of a piece of furniture, embedded or integrated.
In the proposed coupling arrangement no joints or hinges are used, which complicate the production of coupling arrangements. In addition, a particularly robust arrangement is created by the combination of guideways with guide pins, which allows to store even heavy plates to each other. For example, the two movable plates can lie on top of each other and be guided with the coupling arrangement.
At least one guideway may have a guide groove with several steps. The steps provide improved lateral support of the guide pins in the guideways.
It is conceivable that the guideways are arranged in or on different coupling plates. For example, the first guide track is arranged in a first coupling plate, and the second guide track is arranged in a second coupling plate.
In one embodiment of the coupling arrangement, at least one guideway has an undercut. Together with a correspondingly shaped guide pin allows the undercut a particularly secure guidance. In particular, for example, a guide pin is shaped such that the guide pin holds in a state inserted into the guideway and the two coupling plates together.
A guide pin can in particular comprise a spherical shape, or have a flat cylinder, which rests with its flat side in the guideway.
In this respect, results from the combination of suitable guide pins and guideways with undercut also secure attachment of mutually movable plates together. In the embodiment of the guideways with an undercut results in a leadership of the plates to each other only along the predetermined trajectories in a plane through the geometry of the guideway. Disassembly or falling out of guide pins from the guideway is largely prevented.
In embodiments of the coupling arrangement, the first and / or the second guide track has an insertion recess for inserting a guide pin into the guide track. In this respect, broadening or enlargement at an initial or end point of the respective guideway is conceivable. At this Einsetzausnehmung the sliding block or guide pin is then easily used and can be pushed into the undercut. This results in a particularly secure leadership.
In addition, a closure element is preferably provided for insertion into the insertion recess and for closing the insertion recess, thereby preventing the guide pin from slipping out of the guide track. In this respect, there is a secure coupling of movable plates to each other, wherein a well-defined leadership can be done on the one hand along the translation specifications by the geometry of the guideways and on the other hand a rotation about, for example, the endpoint of the first guideway.
Preferably, the first and the second straight portion of the second guide track extend at a same distance from the first guide track. For example, the radius of the Circular section the distance of the parallel straight sections. For example, in an embodiment of the circular section as quarter-circle section, a defined rotation of mutually movable plates by 90 °. However, there are also conceivable rotations to other angular ranges. For example, the circular section of the second guide track can be configured such that a rotation through 180 ° is possible.
Preferably, the guideways do not intersect. In addition, the guideways preferably have no bifurcation, so do not branch. This can be done a reliable jam reliable guidance.
In further embodiments of the coupling arrangement, the first and the second guideways comprise exclusively straight sections and circular arc sections. Due to this simple configuration, a secure guidance is possible, and practically no tilting of the two guide pins in the guideways is possible.
The guide pins have a fixed arrangement to each other. The guide pins can for example be firmly attached to a coupling plate or a furniture plate.
In embodiments, the guideways are arranged for example in a coupling plate, which is at least partially made of a plastic material. Plastic material can be easily processed, so that in particular via a material removal, the guideways can be realized. In embodiments, the guideways are milled in the manner of a groove in the coupling plate material.
For example, the coupling arrangement comprises a first coupling plate in which the guide tracks are arranged and a second coupling plate on which the guide pins are arranged.
In a further embodiment of the coupling arrangement, the first guide track and the second guide pin are arranged for engagement in the second guide track in or on a first coupling plate. The second guide track and the first guide pin for engagement in the first guide track are then arranged on a second coupling plate. In this respect, a particularly secure coupling of the coupling plates results together, which also allow a particularly reliable guidance and rotation of the plates.
In embodiments of the coupling arrangement, a coupling plate has a first plate with a guide plate piercing the first plate and a second closed plate which is arranged on the first plate and closes the guide track on one side. By a two-part design, the production is facilitated and an undercut for secure recording of slot stones low cost produced.
Preferably, the coupling arrangement comprises exactly two guide tracks and exactly two guide pins. The guide pins may, for example, have circular profiles or be round or spherical with a neck pin. It can also be provided more guideways and pins.
Embodiments of the coupling arrangement have at least three guide tracks and three guide pins, the guide pins in particular forming a triangle. The guideways are preferably at least partially parallel to each other.
It is also proposed a piece of furniture with a first plate and a second plate. The first and second plates are coupled together by means of a coupling arrangement as previously described. The coupling is such that a guided translation and a guided rotation of the plates can take place one after the other from an initial position of the plates.
For example, the two plates in a corner are initially congruent. Subsequently, a translation takes place along the two straight sections of the guideways, which run in particular parallel to the bisector of the corner. Subsequently, a rotation takes place around the end point of the first guide track, wherein the axis of rotation lies in the surface of the two plates. The rotation is determined as a function of the configuration of the circular arc section, for example at 90 °. Subsequently, a guided translation takes place back into the corner, wherein the two plates are rotated counter to the starting position by 90 °.
In embodiments, the first and second plates for mutual pivoting are arranged vertically. Due to the reliable guidance and coupling of the guide pins and tracks, the coupling arrangement is also suitable for ensuring a reliable pivoting movement against gravity in the vertical installation situation.
As a piece of furniture is for example in question: a table, a chair, a shelf or a cabinet. It is particularly possible to equip aircraft or Pullmannsitze with the coupling arrangement for forming a pivoting table. In a further embodiment, the coupling assembly couples a footrest to a chair or seat, with two coupling assemblies vertically mounted and the footrest extending between the two coupling assemblies.

Die Kopplungsanordnung 10 lässt flexible Gestaltungen zu.It is possible to adjust the guided relative movement of the

Overall, a robust guide through the geometry of the guideways and guide pins to each other. Tilting or snagging is virtually eliminated by the combination of, for example, circular guide pins and round guideways in cross section. Overall, due to the simple geometry, namely only of straight and only circular sections of the guideways, hardly any jamming or snagging. In this respect, a particularly reliable coupling and guiding mechanism results. The turning and moving takes place in one plane. Although the rotation and translation in the embodiments in the horizontal and a vertical axis of rotation has been indicated and explained, an alternative embodiment is conceivable where the axis of rotation is horizontal. The invention provides a simple way, especially furniture panels against each other to move and rotate. It is also conceivable to provide more than two guideways and guide pins.
