Claims (15)

  1. Disjoncteur à commutation (100) à utiliser dans un circuit électrique qui définit un chemin électrique, un courant circulant à travers le disjoncteur à commutation (100) lorsqu'il est dans un état passant, le disjoncteur à commutation (100) comprenant :
    un stator (107) ayant une ou plusieurs électrodes de stator (105, 115) ;
    un coulisseau (109) ayant une ou plusieurs électrodes de coulisseau, le coulisseau (109) étant mobile par rapport au stator (107) et configuré de telle sorte que pendant un tel déplacement les électrodes de coulisseau glissent contre les électrodes de stator (105, 115) ; et
    un système de lancement (119, 121) agencé pour déplacer le coulisseau (109) par rapport au stator (107) entre une position à l'état passant où le disjoncteur à commutation (100) présente une résistance électrique relativement faible dans le circuit électrique, et une position ouverte où le disjoncteur à commutation (100) présente une très forte résistance électrique dans le circuit électrique ;
    caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une des électrodes de stator (105, 115) et des électrodes de coulisseau a une résistivité croissante le long de sa longueur, avec une résistivité plus forte sur un bord de fuite qui comprend une partie d'une électrode qui touche en dernier une autre électrode lorsque le coulisseau (109) se déplace par rapport au stator (107) ; et
    il y a un nombre de résistances (111, 112, 113) couplées électriquement au stator (107) et/ou au coulisseau (109) ;
    dans lequel lorsque le coulisseau (109) se déplace entre la position à l'état passant et la position ouverte, le courant circulant à travers le disjoncteur à commutation (100) est dérivé sur des chemins de résistance croissante, les chemins comportant les résistances (111, 112', 113).
  2. Disjoncteur à commutation de la revendication 1 dans lequel au moins certaines des électrodes de coulisseau et de stator sont sensiblement entourées par un matériau isolant de telle sorte qu'il n'y a aucun espace entre les électrodes de coulisseau et les électrodes de stator lorsque le coulisseau se déplace par rapport au stator.
  3. Disjoncteur à commutation de la revendication 2 dans lequel toutes les électrodes de coulisseau et de stator sont sensiblement entourées par des solides isolants.
  4. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente comprenant en outre un fluide électriquement isolant sous pression entourant le coulisseau.
  5. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente dans lequel l'électricité passe sur le coulisseau par l'intermédiaire d'une première série d'électrodes de stator qui définissent une série de chemins avec une résistance croissante lorsque le coulisseau se déplace, jusqu'à une électrode de coulisseau qui est sur la surface extérieure du coulisseau, par un chemin isolé jusqu'à une deuxième électrode de coulisseau sur une partie différente du coulisseau, mais entourée par une isolation à la surface du coulisseau, puis hors du coulisseau depuis ladite deuxième électrode de coulisseau jusqu'à une deuxième série d'électrodes de stator qui font passer l'électricité par une série de chemins avec une résistance croissante lorsque le coulisseau se déplace.
  6. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente, le disjoncteur étant agencé dans un circuit électrique parallèle avec un commutateur rapide qui est utilisé pour effectuer une première commutation du courant vers le disjoncteur à un niveau de résistance initial qui est en mesure de contrôler l'appel de courant dans un défaut franc.
  7. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente dans lequel le coulisseau comprend une pluralité d'étages qui sont électriquement couplés en série et se déplacent mécaniquement ensemble comme un corps rigide.
  8. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente dans lequel le stator comprend en outre un matériau de forte rigidité diélectrique à faible frottement qui crée une force retenant le coulisseau par un élément élastique.
  9. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente comprenant en outre un mécanisme de verrouillage de coulisseau qui comprend des actionneurs piézoélectriques qui libèrent une force sur une interface de matériaux à module élevé pour obtenir un actionnement très rapide du début du déplacement du coulisseau.
  10. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente comprenant en outre des domaines magnétiques corrélés sur le coulisseau et le stator qui sont construits et agencés pour maintenir le coulisseau en position par rapport au stator.
  11. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente dans lequel le coulisseau se déplace d'une manière linéaire avec l'électricité passant sur le coulisseau par une connexion, puis hors du coulisseau par une électrode de coulisseau qui est reliée à une série d'électrodes de stator qui font passer l'électricité par une série de chemins avec une résistance croissante lorsque le coulisseau se déplace.
  12. Disjoncteur à commutation de la revendication 11 dans lequel le coulisseau est généralement cylindrique et il y a une pluralité de zones de commutation le long de l'axe longitudinal du coulisseau.
  13. Disjoncteur à commutation de l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 10 dans lequel le coulisseau se déplace en une rotation circulaire, avec l'électricité passant sur le coulisseau par une première connexion électrique, puis hors du coulisseau par une deuxième connexion électrique qui est reliée électriquement à ladite première connexion électrique, mais entourée par une isolation à la surface du coulisseau, et qui est reliée à une série d'électrodes de stator lorsque le coulisseau tourne.
  14. Disjoncteur à commutation de la revendication 13 dans lequel le coulisseau se déplace sur un arc circulaire de moins de 180 degrés, et commute l'électricité sur une pluralité de séquences de résistances branchées en série.
  15. Disjoncteur à commutation d'une quelconque revendication précédente dans lequel au moins certaines des électrodes de coulisseau et de stator comprennent du molybdène.
