Steam ironing appliance comprising a pressurized steam generator (102), comprising a vessel for producing steam at a pressure greater than 4 bar, and an iron (1) comprising a flat sole plate (2) provided with steam outlet holes (20), the steam outlet holes (20) being supplied by at least one steam diffusion chamber (51, 52) arranged on lower face of a body (5) mounted on the sole plate (2), the body (5) comprising an upper face comprising a steam distribution circuit conveying a steam flow produced by the steam generator (102) towards distribution orifices (50, 54) passing through the body (5) and communicating with said steam diffusion chamber (51, 52), characterised in that the iron (1) comprises a steam flow deflector (4) interposed between the body (5) and the sole plate (2), facing at least one of the steam distribution orifices (50, 54), said deflector (4) comprising a deflector plate (4), which is mounted between the lower face of the body (5) and the sole plate (2) and which deflects the steam flow originating from said distribution orifice (50, 54) to direct it in a direction approaching the plane of the sole plate (2).
  2. Ironing appliance according to claim 1, characterised in that the deflector (4) extends facing all the steam distribution orifices (50, 54) passing through the body (5) so as to deflect the steam flow originating from each of the distribution orifices (50, 54) in a direction approaching the plane of the sole plate (2).
  3. Ironing appliance according to any of claims 1 to 2, characterised in that said deflector (4) deflects the flow in a direction substantially parallel to the sole plate (2).
  4. Ironing appliance according to any of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the distribution orifices (50, 54) open into an expansion chamber (50A, 54A) arranged on the lower face of the body (5) and in that the deflector (4) is arranged downstream of the expansion chamber (50A, 54A).
  5. Ironing appliance according to claim 4, characterised in that the deflector plate (4) extends parallel to the sole plate (2).
  6. Ironing appliance according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the steam flow circulates in a space formed between the lower face of the body (5) and the deflector plate (4) and in that the deflector plate (4) cooperates with the lower face of the body (5) to locally restrict the height of said space until it locally reaches a height of less than 1 mm and advantageously of the order of 0.4 mm.
  7. Ironing appliance according to any of claims 4 to 6, characterised in that a porous and deformable element (8) is interposed between the deflector plate (4) and the body (5).
  8. Ironing appliance according to any of claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the body (5) is a casting incorporating a heating resistor (7).
  9. Ironing appliance according to any of claims 1 to 8, characterised in that the body (5) is closed at the top by a lid (6) and in that the steam distribution circuit comprises at least one expansion chamber (11, 13) comprising protruding studs (58) borne by the body (5) and protruding studs (65) borne by the lid (6).
  10. Ironing appliance according to claim 9, characterised in that said protruding studs (58, 65) have a rounded contour, the stud contour having a minimum radius of curvature of 1.5 mm.
  11. Appliance according to any of claims 9 to 10, characterised in that the studs (58, 65) have a frustoconical or cylindrical revolution shape.
  12. Steam ironing appliance according to any of claims 9 to 11, characterised in that an intermediate layer (d), lacking any obstacles, is arranged between the studs (58, 65) protruding from the two surfaces.
