Description

Domaine technique de l'inventionTechnical field of the invention

The present invention relates to a device for adjusting a portable element and, more particularly, to an improved adjustment device for a portable element allowing a simple, fast and efficient adjustment.

État de la techniqueState of the art

The adjustment devices for portable element are very widely used especially in the sports field. This is particularly the case of devices ensuring the correct positioning of headlamps, ski or diving masks, swimming goggles, etc.

The currently marketed adjustment devices, including those for ski masks, are in the form of a single unit for adjusting the length of a strap around the head and ensuring the maintenance of the portable element. The adjustment unit comprises a sliding path for diverting the strap and a fastening zone of said strap. Associated with the adjustment unit, a ring allows the strap, passing through the ring, to make a loop between said ring and the adjustment unit. The spacing between the ring and the adjustment unit adjusts the length of the strap. This type of device has the disadvantage of being impractical when the user wants to change the setting without removing the portable element and this while continuing its activity. Indeed, to set this type of device, the user must hold the sliding strand in the single adjustment unit and slide on it the adjustment unit. The user must first determine which of the two elements present on the strap is the adjustment unit and which of the strands is sliding on the adjustment unit. He must then make the slide of the adjustment unit along said sliding strand. Such an adjustment is therefore relatively long and laborious when the user is active and this especially as the adjustment unit and the ring are generally positioned at the rear of the head.

There are also, for the portable elements of the swimming or diving goggles type, adjustment devices in the form of two adjustment units arranged specifically on either side of the portable element, on the very support of said device. element. These types of device are sometimes provided with a particular headband strap, usually based on silicone, having a fixed resolution at the occipital portion of the head. Such a strap allows a good hold of the portable element but the adjustment of the strap length of such a device remains difficult to perform. In particular, the user tends to pull the adjustment strap more strongly on one side than the other, this inducing a non-symmetrical adjustment of the split with respect to the sagittal plane. Duplication, poorly positioned, then loses its effectiveness in terms of maintaining the portable element.

Objet de l'inventionObject of the invention

The present invention seeks to overcome the disadvantages of conventional adjustment devices by providing an improvement for portable element adjustment devices.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by means of an adjustment device for portable element, as presented in the following claims, and comprising two elementary strands and two adjustment units each comprising a sliding path for one of the elementary strands and a fastening system for one end of the other of the elementary strands, the sliding path of one of the elementary strands being offset laterally relative to the fastening system of the other elementary strands.

The adjustment units of the adjusting device each comprise a sliding path of one of the elementary strands laterally offset, in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the elementary strands, relative to the fastening system of the other elementary strands. and a system for attaching an elementary strand to the adjustment unit configured so that the elementary strand is oriented in a direction different from the other elementary strand in the sliding path.

According to a preferred embodiment, the two elementary strands are part of the same strand. In this embodiment, the portable element may optionally be slidably mounted along the strand.

According to another embodiment, the first and the second strands are of the same length.

According to a preferred embodiment, the single strand or a support zone allows the attachment of a portable element. This portable element is in particular a headlamp.

Description de modes particuliers de réalisationDescription of particular embodiments

The adjustment device for portable element comprises two elementary strands 1 and two adjustment units 3 each comprising a sliding path 4 for one of the elementary strands and a fastening system 5 for one of the ends of the other of the strands. elementary. For a given adjustment unit 3, the sliding path 4 of one of the elementary strands is shifted laterally relative to the fastening system of the other elementary strands.

According to a first embodiment of the invention, the two elementary strands 1 are part of the same strand. In such an embodiment, each elementary strand then has an end defined by the connection to the portable element and the other end defined by the attachment to one of the adjustment units 3. The single strand therefore has its ends each fixed to one of the adjustment units 3. The portable element is assembled to the single strand by any means well known to those skilled in the art, fixedly or sliding on said strand. According to an advantageous embodiment, the portable element is slidably mounted along the strand.

Chaque unitĂ© de rĂ©glage 3 est traversĂ©e par l'autre brin Ă©lĂ©mentaire via le chemin de coulissement 4.The figure 1 has a schematic perspective view of a control device according to a particular embodiment. Said device comprises two elementary strands 1a and 1b having a portion connected to a support zone 2 of the portable element fixed to the adjustment device by said elementary strands and two adjustment units 3 (3a and 3b) each having a path of sliding 4 for one of the elementary strands and a fastening system 5 for the other elementary strand. The device more particularly comprises a first adjustment unit 3a comprising a sliding path 4 of the second elementary strand 1b and a fastening system 5 of the first elementary strand 1a. It also includes a second adjustment unit 3b comprising a sliding path 4 of the first elementary strand 1a and a fastening system 5 of the second elementary strand 1b. Thus, each elementary strand is fixed on one side to the support zone 2 and on the other side to its adjustment unit 3. Each adjustment unit 3 is traversed by the other elementary strand via the sliding path 4.

Such a device allows a quick adjustment, achievable even when the user is equipped with the portable element and is, for example, practicing physical activity. It is sufficient for the user to bring the adjustment units closer to each other or, on the contrary, to move them away in order to obtain optimum adjustment of the length of the device.

The sliding paths 4 may comprise two through holes 7 making it possible to pass an elementary strand from a first main face to the opposite main face and then to return said elementary strand to the side of the first main face ( Fig. 1-3 and 5 ). The sliding paths 4 thus allow a diversion of the elementary strands, said diversion being a means for preventing the uncontrolled sliding of the adjustment unit 3 along the strand when the strand is in tension on both sides of the strand. the adjustment unit 3. Thus, when a tension is applied to the elementary strand only on one side of the adjustment unit 3, the strand slides in the sliding path 4. When the same voltage is applied to the elementary strand on either side of the adjustment unit 3, the elementary strand remains fixed and no longer slides in the sliding path 4.

According to one embodiment, particularly when the strand is a strap or a headband, one of the main faces of the adjustment unit refers to the face in contact with the head or a helmet ( Fig. 1-5 ).

The sliding path 4 of each elementary strand is shifted laterally relative to the fastening system 5 of the other elementary strand. The lateral shift is an offset of the two elementary strands 1 a and 1b in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (the largest dimension) of the elementary strands. The two elementary strands are substantially in the same plane, even when the strands are straps. Such an offset allows spacing e of the elementary strands between the adjustment units 3 ( Fig. 3 and 6). Such spacing e thus ensures excellent retention of the portable element thanks in particular to a double support of the fixing device. When the portable element is positioned on the front, said double support is preferably positioned at the rear of the head, each of the strands being positioned symmetrically on either side of the plane passing through the portable element, said plane being perpendicular in the sagittal plane.

The fixing system 5 of an elementary strand on the adjustment unit 3 is configured so that the elementary strand is oriented in a direction different from the other elementary strand in the sliding path 4 ( Fig. 3 and 5 ). When energizing the elementary strands, at least two forces (F, Fig. 5 ) are applied to the adjustment unit. A first force Fa is applied by the first strand 1a and tends to orient the adjustment unit in a first direction. A second force Fb is applied by the second strand 1b and tends to orient the adjustment unit in a second direction different from the first. As a result, the adjustment unit is oriented between these two directions and creates a friction force which opposes the movement of the strand 1b within the sliding path.

Fixing the strand or elementary strands on the adjustment units 3 at the fastening systems 5 and, possibly, on the support zone 2, can be carried out by any means well known to those skilled in the art, for example by sewing, welding or gluing techniques.

The elementary strand 1 can be of any type and of any suitable form. In particular, the term strand means any type of longitudinal flexible element for fixing, adjustment or clamping. It may therefore be for example a flat strap of any width or a type of element cord of any diameter. Preferably, the elementary strands are based on an extensible material. In all cases, it will be a longitudinal element, so much longer than its diameter and / or width.

In one embodiment, the support zone 2 is intended to receive the portable element. In particular, it may for example be a rigid plate when the portable element is a headlamp. Optionally, the inner face 6 ( Fig. 1 ) of the support zone 2 may be covered with an elastically deformable material to improve the comfort of the user.

The adjustment units 3 can be of any type and any suitable form. In particular, they can be made of plastic or metal.

Subsequently, the length of strand means the strand length which separates the portable element or the support zone 2 from the adjustment unit 3.
According to a preferred embodiment, the adjustment device comprises two elementary strands 1a and 1b of the same length. Such a device thus allows a symmetrical adjustment with respect to the portable element. The tension exerted by the two elementary strands on either side of the support zone 2 is then always of the same intensity, guaranteeing optimum comfort for the user. A symmetrical positioning of the adjustment units with respect to the h axis ( Fig. 4 ), perpendicular to the support zone 2, also allows the holding of the portable element while the user is adjusting the length of the device. Indeed, when the movement required for adjustment is a tension on only one of the fixing areas on the support zone (in the case of non-symmetrical adjustments), this tension creates a risk of separation of the support zone with respect to the element. on which it is positioned. In such a case, the support zone which may be, for example, the frame equipped with a sealing skirt of a diving mask, then loses its sealing function. On the contrary in the present device, the two strands are connected to the two adjustment units 3 and thus the displacement of a control unit on an elementary strand induces the moving the other adjustment unit to the other elementary strand. The support zone remains well positioned on the element on which it is placed and this even when adjusting the length of the elementary strands.
It is the same when the strand is a single strand and the portable element is placed in the middle of the strand.

The adjustment device is particularly suitable for fixing a headlamp.

Advantageously, when the strand is a strap, the entrance and exit slots of the through hole are not parallel in order to increase the frictional forces.

The portable element can be configured to be placed on the head, helmet, arm or other element. Preferably, the adjustment device associated with the portable element is configured to be placed on the head of the user or on a helmet.
