Das in den Figuren 1 bis 7 dargestellte erfindungsgemäße System umfasst eine Fahrbahn 1, die sich aus einzelnen, über Steckverbindungen miteinander verbundenen Fahrbahnsegmenten 2 zusammensetzt. Dargestellt sind insgesamt zwei Fahrbahnsegmente 2, von denen eines zusätzlich als Anschluss für eine Spielzeugsteuerung 3 und das andere für den Anschluss eines erfindungsgemäßen Systems aus Handreglern 4 und Ladestation 5 dient. In die Fahrbahn 1 sind in bekannter Weise Fahrspuren 6 integriert, in denen Fahrzeuge (nicht dargestellt) geführt werden können. Hierzu umfasst jede der Fahrspuren 6 eine Führungsnut 7 zur Führung des Fahrzeugs, das hierzu bodenseitig mit einem entsprechenden Führungselement, wie beispielsweise einem Führungskiel, versehen ist, sowie zwei metallische Kontaktschienen 8, die beidseitig von der Führungsnut 7 angeordnet sind. Die Kontaktschienen 6 sind über die Spielzeugsteuerung mit einer elektrischen Energiequelle (nicht dargestellt) verbunden und dienen dazu, über schleifende Kontaktelemente des jeweiligen Fahrzeugs diesem die für den Vortrieb benötigte elektrische Energie zuzuführen.
