Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for screwless mounting of a termination strip as a wall termination element for a floor or ceiling panel using a plurality ofenteangnhaltern.
- screwless mounting in connection with the present invention is not to be construed in the strict sense of the term “mounting without the use of screws”, but that with it all words are to be excluded all procedures in which for assembly the end strip additional fasteners are required, such as just screws, but also nails, glue and the like.
- additional fasteners such as just screws, but also nails, glue and the like.
- end rail supports are bolted to the wall at appropriate positions upon completion of laying the floor or ceiling trim.
- This procedure requires, on the one hand, a precise marking of the position at which the hole must be drilled. And on the other hand, drilling the hole involves several risks.
- the predetermined distance is preferably equal to the width of the movement joint, which in any case must be provided in order to enable expansion and shrinkage processes can occur mainly by the different humidity in the summer and the heating period in winter.
- the advantage of the mounting method according to the invention over the prior art is that the end strip holder must be mounted only in the course of mounting the waste strips on the already finished laid floor or ceiling panel. They can therefore be provided in exactly the number required for safe installation of the end strips.
- the elaborate steps of marking and drilling, as well as additionally required mounting material, such as dowels and screws, are eliminated compared to the closure strip holders bolted to the wall.
- the end strip holders can be mounted with one hand. You only need to take them on the wall legs, to introduce them into the movement joint and then to rotate 90 ° about the vertical axis. This reduces the working time required for the end rail mounting.
- the predetermined distance may vary depending on the specifications of the manufacturer of the flooring or ceiling panel forming floor or ceiling trim elements, such as trim panels.
- the width of the end strip holder may be less than 20 mm, preferably less than 15 mm.
- the latter may further comprise at least one auxiliary leg extending substantially parallel to the underside leg.
- the floor or ceiling cladding can be preferably received between the base leg and the at least one additional leg.
- the base leg and the at least one additional leg in a section of the end strip holder, which is arranged adjacent in the mounted state of the wall, by means of a spring leg with each other.
- This spring leg can on the one hand provide for a panel thickness compensation and on the other hand provide a clamping force that holds the end strip holder on the floor or ceiling panel.
- the subsurface leg is dimensioned longer than the at least one additional leg, this can increase the stability of the end strip holder in the mounted state.
- At least one stabilizing rib may be provided, which on the one hand with the auxiliary leg and on the other the connected in the mounted state of the wall facing side of the wall leg is connected. Furthermore, the at least one stabilizing rib can be arranged such that it runs substantially vertically in the mounted state.
- a contact surface may be provided at the free end of the auxiliary leg which bears against a lower end of the end strip is determined.
- At least one barb element be formed on the base leg and / or the at least one auxiliary leg , Preferably at its the floor or ceiling facing surface.
- the subsoil legs may be formed curved, wherein the concave side of the curvature points away from the wall leg, ie, in the mounted state to the ground facing.
- a certain suspension between the end strip holder and the ground can be provided in general.
- this can also be used to provide a tolerance compensation between the distance between the underside legs and additional legs on one side and the thickness of the panel inserted between them on the other side.
- the buckle may also enhance the engagement between the at least one barb element and the panel by forming an inclined surface adjacent the free end of the base leg which abuts against the associated edge of the panel. This facilitates the engagement of the associated panel edge with the engaging flank of the at least one barb element, and this in particular when a plurality of barb elements is provided.
- the base leg is formed with at least one running in the width direction run-on slope. If such run-on slopes are provided on both sides of the base leg, the end-rail holder can be fixed in both directions of rotation, i. both in rotation in the counterclockwise direction and be mounted in a simple manner.
- the end strip holder in this case can be used by left-handers and right-handers alike.
- the construction of the end strip holder can be simplified, for example, in that the engagement section is formed by the free end of the wall section.
- the engagement portion may be formed, for example, with a plurality of barb elements.
- the free end of the thus formed wall portion can be easily inserted into an associated recess of the end strip.
- the end strip further comprises at least one spring element whose free end is intended to rest against an end face of the floor or ceiling lining.
- the spring element exerts on the end strip holder a force to be pressed in the direction of the wall.
- the strictlyleisfenhalter can be made of metal or plastic. Is it made of metal, so preferably as a bending and stamping, for example, spring steel. If it is made of plastic, so preferably as an injection molded part, for example, polyoxymethylene, short POM.
- FIG. 1 is a whoologicalnhalter generally designated 10. It comprises a base leg 12 which is in the in FIG. 1 shown assembled state, flat on the substrate U, so for example the screed, rests and the floor or ceiling panel F engages below. Integrally connected to the base leg 12 is a wall leg 14 which carries an engagement portion 16, which in the assembled state according to FIG. 1 with a closing bar 18 is in holding engagement.
- the end strip 18 has for this purpose a retaining groove 20 into which a retaining projection 22 is inserted. In order to secure the retaining engagement between retaining groove 20 and retaining projection 22, the latter is provided with barb elements 24.
- a retaining groove 20 limiting web 26 of the end strip 18 is received between the wall leg 14 and the retaining projection 22.
- the end strip holder 10 further includes an auxiliary leg 28 which extends substantially parallel to the base leg 12.
- the additional leg 26 is shorter than the base leg 12. In particular, its length is dimensioned such that it does not protrude below the end bar 18 in the mounted state.
- Adjacent to the wall W, the additional leg 26 is integrally connected to the base leg 12 via a connecting web 30.
- the connecting web 30 may be resilient, preferably in such a way that the base leg 12 and the auxiliary leg 28 exert a clamping force on the recorded between these two floor or ceiling panel F.
- the base point 14a of the wall leg 14 from the connecting web 30 a predetermined distance and extends from there obliquely upward, with its upper end 14b is preferably arranged vertically above the connecting web 30 in the mounted state.
- the wall leg 14 provided in extension of the connecting web 30 is in the mounted state substantially vertically, as in the embodiment to be described below FIG. 3 the case is.
- the end strip holder 10 has a width b (see FIG. 2 ), which is smaller than a predetermined distance, which is given by the width B of the movement joint S between the wall W and the floor or ceiling panel F.
- the end strip holder 10 can be inserted into the movement joint S until its base leg 12 rests on the substrate U. This position is in FIG. 2 shown. Then you can the end strip holder 10 in the plan view according to FIG. 2 Turn clockwise 90 °. This is in FIG. 2 represented by the curved arrow M1. As a result of this rotation of the subgrade leg 12 engages under the floor or ceiling panel F.
- FIG. 3 is a modified embodiment of a contolinos shown, however, in much of the embodiment according to FIG. 1 equivalent. Analog parts are therefore provided with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 , but increasingly by the number 100.
- the Endologicalhalter 110 is the FIG. 3 in the following will be described only insofar as he from the end strip holder 10 according to FIG. 1 which is otherwise expressly referred to the description thereof.
- the end rail bracket 110 includes a base leg 112, a wall leg 114 and an engagement portion 116.
- the barb members 124 of the retaining projection 122 of the engagement portion are in FIG FIG. 3 for the sake of simplicity, only roughly indicated schematically.
- the end strip holder 110 does not have an auxiliary leg 28 extending substantially parallel to the underside leg 112.
- a spring clip 132 which is arranged in the assembled joint in the movement joint S, projects against the end face St (see FIG FIG. 1 ) the floor or ceiling panel applies and thereby exerts a force on the end strip holder 110, which urges them toward the wall W.
- barb elements 134 are provided which in the mounted state of an opposite movement, ie a directed away from the wall W movement, the end strip holder 110 at least oppose. So that these barb elements 134 do not hinder the screwing in of the base leg 112 under the floor or ceiling lining F during assembly, they are formed with run-on slopes 134a.
- the engagement portion is formed such that the end strips is biased in the assembled state in a direction as a result of engagement with the engagement portion and the interaction with the floor or ceiling panel, on the one hand facing the wall component and the other one to the ground pointing component has. In this way, the formation of gaps between the wall and the end trim as well as between the floor or ceiling trim and the end trim can be counteracted.
- FIG. 4 a third embodiment of a contolins is shown, which in many parts of the embodiment according to FIG. 1 equivalent. Analog parts are therefore provided with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 1 , but increased by the number 200.
- the end strip holder 210 is the FIG. 4 in the following will be described only insofar as he from the end strip holder 10 according to FIG. 1 which is otherwise expressly referred to the description thereof.
- a first difference to the end strip holder 10 according to FIG. 1 is that in the end strip holder 210 according to FIG. 4 on the (only dashed lines indicated) facing the floor or ceiling panel F surface facing the base leg 212 barb elements 234 provided that resist in the mounted state of an opposite movement, ie a directed away from the wall W movement, the end strip holder 210 at least.
- barb elements 236 can also be provided on the surface or ceiling cladding F facing surface of the additional leg 228.
- the base leg 212 may be curved, with the concave side of the curvature facing the ground U out.
- an inclined surface 212a may be provided which extends from the point of curvature farthest from the ground U to the free end of the base leg 212.
- the base leg 212 is formed with at least one widthwise ramp 238 which facilitates insertion of the base leg 212 under the floor or ceiling trim F.
- the end rail holder 210 differs according to FIG. 4 from the end strip holder 10 according to FIG. 1
- the wall leg 214 may be formed as a substantially rectilinear extending leg, at its free end, which forms the engagement portion 216, barb elements 224 are formed, which are adapted to engage in an associated retaining groove 220 of the end strip 218th are determined.
- a stabilizing rib 240 may be formed, which supports the wall leg 214 and thus the end strip holder 210 stabilized overall.
- the stabilizing rib 240 may be of advantage in particular if the base leg 212 is in a state in which the end strip 218 bears against the wall W (this state is in FIG. 4 shown), of the wall W still has a predetermined distance d. If, starting from this state, one exerts on the lower end 218a of the end strip 218 a pressure directed towards the wall W and pushes it and thus by means of the auxiliary leg 228 also the underside leg 212 of the explicatancenhalters 210 further on the wall, this leads to a rotation of the Endologicaln-Ab gleichangnhalter combination, as a result of which the wall W adjacent end of the Untergrundschenkels 212 is lifted from the ground U.
- FIG. 5 a fourth embodiment of a contolinos is shown, which in much of the embodiment according to FIG. 4 equivalent. Analog parts are therefore provided with the same reference numerals as in FIG. 4 , but increased by the number 100, ie compared with FIG. 1 Increased by the number 300.

Description
The invention relates to a method for screwless mounting of a termination strip as a wall termination element for a floor or ceiling panel using a plurality of Abschlussleistenhaltern.
Already at this point it should be noted that the term "screwless mounting" in connection with the present invention is not to be construed in the strict sense of the term "mounting without the use of screws", but that with it all words are to be excluded all procedures in which for assembly the end strip additional fasteners are required, such as just screws, but also nails, glue and the like. However, for simplicity's sake, both in the claims and in the following description, reference will always be made only to the example of screwless mounting.
In the current practice of mounting end trim strips as a wall termination element for a floor or ceiling trim, the end rail supports are bolted to the wall at appropriate positions upon completion of laying the floor or ceiling trim. For this purpose, it is necessary to drill just above or below the floor or ceiling panel a hole in the wall, in which a dowel is used, in turn, then the the Abschlussleistenhalter holder screw is screwed. This procedure requires, on the one hand, a precise marking of the position at which the hole must be drilled. And on the other hand, drilling the hole involves several risks. For example, there is a risk of damage to the floor or ceiling panel by the drilling machine, and this not only inadvertently but inherently inherent in the process because of the small height of the borehole above the floor or ceiling paneling. In addition there is the danger of damaging water pipes or electrical lines during drilling.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for boltless mounting of end strips, which does not have the disadvantages discussed above.
This object is achieved by a method having the features of claim 1.
- a wall thigh,
- a base leg, which is integrally formed with the wall legs, and
- an engagement portion that is configured and intended to engage with a termination ledge,
The predetermined distance is preferably equal to the width of the movement joint, which in any case must be provided in order to enable expansion and shrinkage processes can occur mainly by the different humidity in the summer and the heating period in winter.
The advantage of the mounting method according to the invention over the prior art is that the end strip holder must be mounted only in the course of mounting the waste strips on the already finished laid floor or ceiling panel. They can therefore be provided in exactly the number required for safe installation of the end strips. In addition, the elaborate steps of marking and drilling, as well as additionally required mounting material, such as dowels and screws, are eliminated compared to the closure strip holders bolted to the wall. Finally, it is also an advantage that the end strip holders can be mounted with one hand. You only need to take them on the wall legs, to introduce them into the movement joint and then to rotate 90 ° about the vertical axis. This reduces the working time required for the end rail mounting.
The predetermined distance may vary depending on the specifications of the manufacturer of the flooring or ceiling panel forming floor or ceiling trim elements, such as trim panels. For example, the width of the end strip holder may be less than 20 mm, preferably less than 15 mm.
In order to improve the hold of the end strip holder, the latter may further comprise at least one auxiliary leg extending substantially parallel to the underside leg. In this case, the floor or ceiling cladding can be preferably received between the base leg and the at least one additional leg. As in the market cladding panels of different thickness are available, for example, floor or Deckenverkleidungpaneele with a thickness of between 5 mm and 25 mm, it may be necessary in this development to provide a specially adapted Abschlussleistenhalter for each panel thickness. However, it is also conceivable to connect the base leg and the at least one additional leg in a section of the end strip holder, which is arranged adjacent in the mounted state of the wall, by means of a spring leg with each other. This spring leg can on the one hand provide for a panel thickness compensation and on the other hand provide a clamping force that holds the end strip holder on the floor or ceiling panel. Depending on the particular design of the engagement portion, it may be necessary to provide the engagement portion with a lash adjuster and / or a bias to ensure that the end bar rests gap-free on the floor or ceiling panel.
If the subsurface leg is dimensioned longer than the at least one additional leg, this can increase the stability of the end strip holder in the mounted state.
In order to be able to reliably initiate the forces exerted by the end strip on the end strip holder forces, for example, the reaction force on the wall from the wall, in the rest of the end strip holder, at least one stabilizing rib may be provided, which on the one hand with the auxiliary leg and on the other the connected in the mounted state of the wall facing side of the wall leg is connected. Furthermore, the at least one stabilizing rib can be arranged such that it runs substantially vertically in the mounted state.
In order to be able to reliably ensure that the end strip holder is taken along by the end strip in the course of assembly, in particular as the end strip approaches the wall, a contact surface may be provided at the free end of the auxiliary leg which bears against a lower end of the end strip is determined.
In order to be able to prevent the end strip holder from slipping under the floor or ceiling lining and subsequently forming a gap between the wall and the end strip, it is also proposed that at least one barb element be formed on the base leg and / or the at least one auxiliary leg , Preferably at its the floor or ceiling facing surface.
Further, the subsoil legs may be formed curved, wherein the concave side of the curvature points away from the wall leg, ie, in the mounted state to the ground facing. As a result, a certain suspension between the end strip holder and the ground can be provided in general. In training the end rail holder However, this can also be used to provide a tolerance compensation between the distance between the underside legs and additional legs on one side and the thickness of the panel inserted between them on the other side. Finally, the buckle may also enhance the engagement between the at least one barb element and the panel by forming an inclined surface adjacent the free end of the base leg which abuts against the associated edge of the panel. This facilitates the engagement of the associated panel edge with the engaging flank of the at least one barb element, and this in particular when a plurality of barb elements is provided.
In the initial phase of the rotary movement of the closure strip holder, the entry of the base leg under the floor or ceiling covering, i. in the gap between floor or ceiling panel and ground to facilitate, it is proposed that the base leg is formed with at least one running in the width direction run-on slope. If such run-on slopes are provided on both sides of the base leg, the end-rail holder can be fixed in both directions of rotation, i. both in rotation in the counterclockwise direction and be mounted in a simple manner. In particular, the end strip holder in this case can be used by left-handers and right-handers alike.
The construction of the end strip holder can be simplified, for example, in that the engagement section is formed by the free end of the wall section. For this purpose, the engagement portion may be formed, for example, with a plurality of barb elements. For engagement with the end strip, the free end of the thus formed wall portion can be easily inserted into an associated recess of the end strip. However, it is also conceivable to form the free end of the wall portion as a hook element, which can be brought into engagement with a corresponding recess of the end strip.
In order to prevent the formation of a gap between the wall and the end strip, it is proposed that it further comprises at least one spring element whose free end is intended to rest against an end face of the floor or ceiling lining. Thus, the spring element exerts on the end strip holder a force to be pressed in the direction of the wall.
Ist er aus Kunststoff gefertigt, so vorzugsweise als Spritzgussteil, beispielsweise aus Polyoxymethylen, kurz POM.The Abschlussleisfenhalter can be made of metal or plastic. Is it made of metal, so preferably as a bending and stamping, for example, spring steel. If it is made of plastic, so preferably as an injection molded part, for example, polyoxymethylene, short POM.
