Abstract

Endlagerbehälter (10) für kontaminierte Gegenstände werden aus einzelnen zusammengeschweißten Wandungen gebildet. Die Wandungen müssen vor dem Verschweißen in die richtige Positionen gebracht werden. Das ist aufgrund des relativ hohen Gewichts der Wandungen sehr aufwendig. Des Weiteren sind die in den Endlagerbehältern (10) unterzubringenden kontaminierten Gegenstände üblicherweise feucht. Die Feuchtigkeit der kontaminierten Gegenstände führt mit der Zeit zum Durchrosten der Endlagerbehälter (10).Repository containers (10) for contaminated objects are formed from individual walls welded together. Dadurch können die Wandungen in ihrer vorgesehenen Position zusammengesteckt und fixiert werden. Das erleichtert die Schweißvorbereitungen. Außerdem ist es vorgesehen, die Endlagerbehälter (10) im Inneren zu temperieren, insbesondere durch Heizpaneele (22) aufzuheizen und dabei entstehende feuchte aufgeheizte Luft aus dem Inneren des Endlagerbehälters (10) abzusaugen. Die kontaminierten Gegenstände werden so vor dem Einlagern getrocknet und damit keine Feuchtigkeit im Endlagerbehälter (10) eingeschlossen, die zu einem Durchrosten desselben führen könnte.
