Abstract

Um das Dampfsauggerät derart weiterzubilden, dass es eine komfortablere Handhabung aufweist, wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Gerätegehäuse (12) ein Gehäuseunterteil (14) und ein Gehäuseoberteil (16) aufweist, wobei das Saugaggregat (24) und der Schmutzsammelbehälter (20) im Gehäuseunterteil (14) angeordnet sind und das Gehäuseoberteil (16) zwischen einer Schließstellung und einer Freigabestellung hin und her bewegbar ist, wobei es in der Schließstellung den Schmutzsammelbehälter (20) überdeckt und ihn in der Freigabestellung freigibt, und wobei der Sauganschluss (64) am Gehäuseoberteil (16) angeordnet und in der Schließstellung des Gehäuseoberteils (16) mit einer Ansaugöffnung (42) des Schmutzsammelbehälters (20) in Strömungsverbindung steht.
