- the cross sectional shape of the flange is not that important, but it is clear that the more square or rectangular the flange is relative to the side edge, the better grip it will have in the upper section of the secondary beam's cavity thereby creating better interlocking properties between the cover elements and the secondary beam and thereby increase the stability of the platform structure as such.
- the means provided for connecting the secondary beams to the primary beams is a plate member arranged perpendicularly to the ends of the secondary beams, where said plate is provided with apertures, and the web of the primary beam is provided with corresponding apertures, such that a mechanical connection by means of bolts and nuts is provided, between the web of the primary beams and the plates of the secondary beams.
- the flat flanges of the bracket is fastened to what in use will be an underside of the secondary beams, where the bent section will fit snugly over/around part of the primary beam.

Abstract
L'invention porte sur une construction de plateforme, laquelle construction est apte à être disposée à l'intérieur d'une structure de tour ou à l'extérieur d'une structure de bâtiment, et laquelle construction de plateforme comprend une pluralité de éléments coopérants : - une première pluralité d'éléments de revêtement, chaque élément de revêtement ayant deux bords latéraux parallèles s'étendant, lors de l'utilisation, vers le bas à partir d'une surface de portée de charge, des moyens étant disposés le long des bords latéraux pour relier des éléments de revêtement adjacents d'un bord latéral à un bord latéral ; - une 2° pluralité de poutres primaires ; - une troisième pluralité de poutres secondaires, les bords latéraux des éléments de revêtement étant de formes différentes, un premier bord latéral ayant une première section s'étendant sensiblement verticalement vers le bas à partir de la surface de portée de charge disposée horizontalement, une extrémité distale de la première section étant formée sous la forme d'une seconde section en forme de U, de telle sorte que l'extrémité libre du premier bord est pointée sensiblement vers le haut, et la distance à partir du bas du U à la surface de portée de charge étant « a » ; et un second bord latéral s'étendant sensiblement verticalement vers le bas sur la longueur « a », de telle sorte que, lorsque l'extrémité libre de seconds bords latéraux d'un élément de revêtement adjacent est insérée dans le U, les surfaces de portée de charge des éléments de revêtement adjacents seront dans un plan, les poutres secondaires ayant une partie supérieure et une partie inférieure reliées par un film, la partie supérieure comportant une cavité le long d'au moins une partie substantielle de sa longueur, de telle sorte que les bords latéraux reliés de deux éléments de revêtement adjacents s'adaptent étroitement à l'intérieur de la cavité, présentant un jeu limité, et les poutres primaires comprenant une partie supérieure et une partie inférieure, et un corps de film reliant lesdites parties supérieure et inférieure, les poutres secondaires étant reliées soit au corps de film soit à la partie inférieure des poutres primaires, de telle sorte qu'une surface supérieure de la partie supérieure supporte les éléments de revêtement.
