Claims (9)

  1. A lighting unit, in particular for a work area in a household appliance, for example, for the drum of a washing machine, of a laundry drier or the like, having a printed circuit board (5), having a lamp (6) arranged on the printed circuit board (5) and having a socket (3) for holding the printed circuit board (5), wherein the printed circuit board (5) is arranged on a holding part (8), in such a way that a good heat conducting contact is established between the printed circuit board (5) and the holding part (8), wherein the holding part (8) is attached to the socket (3), in particular by clamping to the socket (3), in such a way that a good heat transmission is established from the holding part (8) to the socket (3), wherein the holding part (8) has a pocket (9), into which the printed circuit board (5) is inserted for fastening, wherein the holding part (8) is used to supply the electrical voltage for the lamp (6), and wherein the printed circuit board (5) is electrically contacted to the pocket (9), characterized in that the holding part (8) comprises an elongated rod element (18), that pocket (9) is formed on the one end of the rod element (18) and a plug connection and/or solder connection (11) is formed on the other end of the rod element (18) for the connection to the electrical supply voltage, and that the pocket (9) is designed hook-shaped.
  2. A lighting unit according to Claim 1, characterized in that the printed circuit board (5) is electrically contacted and/or fastened by means of two holding parts (8, 8') in particular designed substantially identically.
  3. A lighting unit according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a lid (4) is placed on the socket (3), in such a way that the socket (3) and the lid (4) form a housing (2) for the lighting unit (1), and that preferably a protective cap (13) permeable to light is placed on the front side facing the printed circuit board (5).
  4. A lighting unit according to claim 1, 2 or 3, characterized in that the lamp (6) consists of a light-emitting diode (LED), and that preferably the light emitting diode (6) is soldered onto the printed circuit board (5) as a SMD (surface mounted device)-component.
  5. A lighting unit according to any one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that two contact surfaces (17) are provided on the printed circuit board (5) for the electrical contacting by the holding parts (8, 8'), and that preferably the printed circuit board (5) has a base area, the size of which substantially corresponds to the sum of the surfaces of the lamp (6) and the contact surfaces (17), in such a way that the base area of the printed circuit board (5) is only insignificantly larger than that of the lamp (6).
  6. A lighting unit according to any one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the holding part (8, 8') is designed as a stamping and/or bending element.
  7. A lighting unit according to any one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the printed circuit board (5) is arranged substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (15) of the holding part (8, 8'), in particular to the rod element (18).
  8. A lighting unit according to any one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the printed circuit board (5) is arranged tilted towards the longitudinal axis (15) of the holding part (8, 8'), in particular, towards the rod element (18).
  9. A lighting unit according to any one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the holding part (8, 8') consists of metal, and that preferably the socket (3) and/or the lid (4) and/or the protective cap (13) consist of plastic, in particular of a thermoplastic synthetic material.
