Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Heizelement zur Umwandlung elektrischer Energie in Wärme, wobei das Heizelement aus Carbon besteht, wobei das das Heizelement bildende Carbon-Material eine Filament-Struktur aufweist, wobei das Carbon-Material aus parallel verlaufenden Fäden oder aus einer Anordnung von Fäden besteht, die zu wenigstens einer Kordel oder zu wenigstens einem Seil gedreht oder geflochten sind, wobei die Enden der parallel verlaufenden Fäden, der wenigstens einen Kordel oder des wenigstens einen Seils jeweils einen elektrischen Anschluss aufweisen. Ebenso betrifft die Erfindung ein Heizelement zur Umwandlung elektrischer Energie in Wärme, wobei das Heizelement ein Vlies aufweist, das aus einem kohlenstoffhaltigen Material hergestellt ist, wobei dieses Vlies mit metallischen Flächen kontaktiert ist, über die das Vlies zur Umwandlung der elektrischen Energie in Wärme an eine Spannungs- bzw. Stromquelle angeschlossen wird. Weiterhin betrifft die Erfindung die Verwendung eines derartigen Vlieses mit nanotube-Fasem als Drucksensor.
