Dabei lenkt die Schiebetür aus, d.h. sie macht anfänglich keine parallele Bewegung, sondern eine Schwenkbewegung. Beim nachfolgenden Zur-Seite-Schieben schwenkt auch der restliche Teil der Schiebetür aus und wird parallel zur benachbarten Schiebetür vor der benachbarten Schiebetür verschoben. Die Schiebetüren werden dabei je von einer Verschiebevorrichtung gehalten, die über dem Schrank oder unter dem Schrank angeordnet ist und auf zwei beabstandeten, einzeln mit dem Schrank verschraubten Schienen geführt ist. Die Zusammenlegung der beiden parallel geführten Schienen für die Lagerung der Verschiebevorrichtung bei der Längsverschiebung zu einem einzigen aus abgekanteten Blech oder vorzugsweise als Aluminium-Stranggussteil hergestellt, ermöglicht es, dem Hersteller von Schiebetürschränken (Schreiner, Möbelfabriken) auf einfachste Weise die Schienen auf oder unter einem Schrank zu montieren, wobei der Hersteller bei der Montage einzig den Abstand dieses einzigen Monoblock-Elements zur Vorderkante des Schranks festlegen muss. Auch die Führungskurve kann er in das Schienenelement einlegen und er braucht dabei nur den Ort der Befestigung der Schiebetür an der Verschiebevorrichtung auszumessen und die Führungskurve mit einer Schraube zu fixieren. Das Schienenelement kann zudem schmaler ausgebildet sein, d.h. die beiden Schienen können näher beieinander liegen als bei den bekannten Verschiebevorrichtungen, wodurch das Schienenelement auch an Schränken mit geringer Tiefe montierbar ist. Die Stabilität der Führung der Schiebetür wird durch eine grössere Länge der Verschiebevorrichtung in Schieberichtung sichergestellt. Alternativ kann die Verschiebevorrichtung auch in zwei Abschnitte unterteilt werden. Die Führungsmittel für die von der Verschiebevorrichtung weiter beabstandete Kante der Schiebetür sind sehr einfach aufgebaut und an der Rückseite der Schiebetür befestigt. Am Schrank selbst ist dazu nur die Vorrichtung zur Übertragung der Bewegung von oben nach unten zu befestigen. In Figur 1 ist ein Schrank 1 mit zwei Seitenwänden 3, zwei Zwischenwänden 5, einem Boden 7 und einer Decke 9 sowie einer Rückwand 11 dargestellt. Sämtliche Elemente des Schranks 1 bestehen aus rechteckigen Zuschnitten. Es werden für den Einbau einer erfindungsgemässen Laufwerksanordnung für Schiebetüren 15 keine Anpassungen wie Einschnitte, Nuten für Führungsschienen, Durchbrüche etc. benötigt.
In der Figur 2, welche die rechte obere Hälfte des Schranks 1 zeigt, ist die rechte Seitenwand 3 als seitlicher Abschluss für die Laufwerksanordnung 13 oben über die Decke 9 hinausgezogen. Auf der Oberseite der Decke 9 ist eine Verschiebevorrichtung 13 mit einer Abdeckung 17 ersichtlich. Letztere dient als Staubschutz für die darunterliegenden Funktionselemente der Verschiebevorrichtung 13. Der Abstand der beiden Schenkel 29 jeder Führungsbahn 27 ist wiederum geringfügig grösser als der Durchmesser der Führungsrollen 31, derart, dass diese annähernd spielfrei geführt sind, d.h. dass diese beim Abrollen jeweils nur im Kontakt mit einem der beiden Schenkel 29 stehen, in Abhängigkeit mit den auf die Verschiebevorrichtung 13 wirkenden Kräfte.
