- Einsetzen eines flächigen Inlays mit mindestens zwei jeweils an gegenüberliegenden Längsseiten des Inlays angeordneten Heftlaschen in die Umverpackung,
- Ausrichten von Heftlaschen des Inlays parallel zu den Seitenwänden der Umverpackung,
- automatisiertes Erfassen der Position des Inlays in der Umverpackung, wobei das automatisierte Erfassen der Position des Inlays mittels eines in Richtung (Y) des Inlays verfahrbaren Schaltelementes erfolgt, das bei Berührung des Inlays oder Annäherung an das Inlay betätigt wird,
- Positionieren mindestens eines Heftwerkszeuges abhängig von der erfassten Position des Inlays an der Außenseite der Seitenwände der Umverpackung auf Höhe der Heftlaschen, wobei das Positionieren des mindestens einen Heftwerkzeugs mit einer Positioniereinrichtung erfolgt, die abhängig von der erfassten Position des Inlays gesteuert wird,
- mindestens ein Heftamboss abhängig von der erfassten Position des Inlays an der Innenseite einer der Seitenwände der Umverpackung auf Höhe der Heftlaschen positioniert wird und
- Aktivieren des Heftwerkzeugs zum Befestigen der Heftlaschen an den Seitenwänden, wobei jedes Heftwerkzeug nach der Positionierung des Heftambosses eine durchgehende Heftung urchführt.
