Definitions
- the invention relates to a packaging of a product, which within the packaging, for. B. by metabolic processes or soirchemic reactions, forms a gas.
- the packaging consists of a film envelope, which forms a closed packaging space for the gas-emitting product.
- the packaging may be, for example, a packaging of yeast.
- the yeast is filled into a packaging bag, which is then hermetically sealed.
- yeast cells produce carbon dioxide through a metabolic process, with the volume of CO 2 released corresponding to a multiple of the amount of yeast. Hermetic sealing prevents CO 2 from escaping.
- other packaging goods are conceivable which form gases due to metabolic processes or chemical reactions or even temperature changes.
- Film packaging consisting of a prefabricated bag or formed in a combined manufacturing and filling process as a hose and simultaneously filled and hermetically sealed, are used in practice for a variety of pourable or flowable products.
- the packaging When filled, the packaging is stable. With increasing removal of the product, however, the packaging loses its dimensional stability. This complicates a metered product removal. The problem of insufficient dimensional stability also arises in pourable and flowable products which form gases through metabolic processes or chemical reactions.
- the gas formation within the hermetically sealed packaging space has the consequence that the packaging until the first opening with a corresponding design of the bag, z. B. as a gusseted bag is dimensionally stable. If the Packaging is opened for product removal, escapes the gas and the packaging loses its dimensional stability. There is a need to stiffen the envelope of the film package, at least in sections, to improve handling of the package during product removal.

- the preparation of a two-ply laminate containing pressurized air chambers requires elaborate modifications of the lamination process. Further, the processing of an air-cushioned laminate having thin-walled areas bonded together and air-cushioned, thick-walled portions is difficult. The production of such packaging bags are expensive as a result.
- the invention has for its object to provide for products that form gases during storage, a film packaging that has a stiffened by gas cushion film wrap after opening the package.
- the film envelope should consist of a packaging material which is easy to process and does not contain any gas-filled chambers during processing.

Description

Fig. 3 angegebenen Schnittebene B-B, - Fig. 5
Fig. 3 dargestellten Verpackung in der Schnittebene C-C.
