- the basic structure of the invention Faltschiebeladens and the interaction of its protective elements 1 with the coupling elements 3 is not changed substantially, reference is made with respect to the illustration on the example of the cable 17 described embodiment.
- Basically essential to the invention is thus the interaction of the protective elements 1 with the coupling elements 3, so that in the unfolded state in each case an offset between the individual protective elements 1 is present, and that the coupling elements are movably mounted on the protective elements.
- a number of protective elements can be folded together by manually applied pressure or motorized and the folded state can be converted by pulling back into the unfolded state. Without the offset would be possible to pull apart, but not a wrinkle, since the individual protection elements 1 obstructed each other.
Description
The invention relates to a Faltschiebeladen for a window or door element with more than one protective element, wherein the folding and unfolding is done by hand or motorized, and a method to achieve this.
Traditionally, it has been known to use shutters in the form of shutters. Since such shutters must be pivoted to open each sideways, to the right and left, they need on the one hand a considerable swing radius and on the other hand on the respective facade on which they are then kept in the open state, sufficient space.
With large and wide window fronts this space is not always available in sufficient measure and shutters are no longer reasonable to handle.
To remedy this situation, shutters were developed in the form of folding shutters. The shutters are folded sliding and parked perpendicular to the facade. Such Faltschiebeläden can be folded inwards and outwards. Freestanding they serve as visual and / or wind protection. In addition, they can be pushed as a folding package laterally against the wall.
The elements of such Faltschiebeläden consist mostly of extruded aluminum profile and / or -hohlkammerprofil. The surface of the Faltschiebeläden elements is usually powder-coated.

It is known to operate such Faltschiebeläden manually. Then pressure is exerted on a wing of the Faltschiebeladens through the open window. As a result of this wing shop goes outward and can be pushed aside. For closing the front wing is used, the train continues and also acts on the subsequent wings, whereby the Faltschiebe shutter can be closed again.
This type of opening and closing a folding sliding shutters is on the one hand cumbersome, may already require considerable effort in larger Faltschiebeläden and means in any case for the fingers of the opening or closing person a significant risk of injury, especially in the hinges of Faltschiebeläden.
Based on this prior art, the present invention therefore has for its object to provide Faltschiebeläden which prevent the previously described risk of injury when opening and closing and are easy and effortless to use by people of all ages.
This object is achieved by folding shutters for a window or door element, wherein the respective Faltschiebeladen has more than one protective element and the protective elements are movably interconnected in such a way that a protective element with at least one other protective element is collapsible. The protective elements are substantially adapted to the clear width of the building opening belonging to the window or door element so that two cooperating folding sliding shutters substantially completely cover the building opening designed as a window or door in the unfolded state. The protective elements are mutually over Coupling elements connected, each defining an offset of the protective elements to each other in the unfolded state.
According to one embodiment, the opening and / or closing of the Faltschiebeladens motorized via a cable carried over and / or under the respective Faltschiebeladen and connected to the motor drive, so that the motor drive causes the opening and / or closing of Faltschiebeladens.
Alternatively, the opening and / or closing of Faltschiebeladens motorized via a toothed belt, which is guided over and / or under the respective Faltschiebeladen and connected to the motor drive, so that here causes the motor drive opening and / or closing the Faltschiebeladens.
According to a further embodiment, each protective element has a frame, to the upwardly and / or downwardly facing corner areas attachment plates are mounted, each having a projecting beyond the mounting plate projection, which serves to attach the respective coupling element to the protective element. Each coupling element is held together by two of the protective elements and arranged accordingly between these protective elements.
The projection may have a bolt which engages in a correspondingly complementary bore of the coupling element. In this way, the respective protective element can be rotatably mounted on each of the connections with the coupling element via the bolts.
It can also be provided that the coupling elements arranged between the protective elements are arranged alternately in such a way that they alternately protrude once in the direction of the building opening and the other time.
According to yet another embodiment, each coupling element pointing in the direction of the building opening can be connected to at least one carriage, which cooperates via a running track with a cable pull or a toothed belt which is guided over rollers and connected to the motor drive.
The track can be mounted in each case in the upper and in the lower part of the building opening.
The invention also relates to a method for folding and unfolding folding sliding shutters for a building opening in one of the aforementioned embodiments, in which each protective element is connected to coupling elements which are arranged alternately in the direction of the building opening and facing away from it, so that when moving the Protective elements, the freely movable coupling elements are pressed or stretched outwards and thereby the fully folded or unfolded Faltschiebladen is formed.
According to one embodiment, folding and unfolding may be motor driven. Then, each pointing in the direction of the building opening coupling element is connected to a carriage and this is moved over a arranged in a track rail or timing belt, the protective elements are rotatably mounted at each connection with the coupling elements via bolts and the cable or the timing belt is about a motor is moved to collapse or unfold the protective elements of the Faltschiebeladens, so that when moving the protective elements, the freely movable coupling elements are pressed outwardly or stretched and thereby the fully folded or unfolded Faltschiebeladen is formed.

A folding sliding shutter according to the present invention conventionally comprises
In addition, the invention is not limited to the application in such Faltschiebeladen whose frame and filling are made of aluminum. The invention is much more versatile.
- Aluminium - Holz
- Stahl - Holz
- Aluminium - Stoff
- Stahl - Stoff
- Stahl - Kunststoff
- Aluminium - Kunststoff
- Kunststoff - Kunststoff
- Aluminum - wood
- Steel - wood
- Aluminum fabric
- Steel - fabric
- Steel - plastic

There are thus basically all conceivable constructions suitable, resulting in a functioning Faltschiebeladen.

The connection of the third with the fourth

The example of the motorized via a cable Faltschiebeladens for window or door elements explained invention is also versatile.
Thus, in another embodiment, the
Basically, it is necessary for the folding and pulling apart of the
Basically essential to the invention is thus the interaction of the
