The nozzle body 10 comprises dispensing nozzles 14 which are each assigned to an application module 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, so that the medium dispensed by an application module exits through a dispensing opening 15 of the respective dispensing nozzle 14. All delivery openings 15 open on a line L extending transversely to the advance direction V of the substrate S into a channel 16, which is followed by a slot die 17 in the direction of flow of the viscous media. The latter is arranged on a flat-slit nozzle body 18, which is detachably flanged to the nozzle body 10, so that it can easily be exchanged if necessary.
Wie bereits weiter oben erwähnt sind die Auftragsmodule 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5 in herkömmlicher Weise ausgebildet. Sie umfassen also elektrisch, elektromagnetisch, pneumatisch, hydraulisch, piezoelektrisch etc. betätigte Ventilanordnungen, mittels welcher von außen beispielsweise über Zuleitungen, die in der Zeichnung nicht dargestellt sind, zugeleitete fluide Medien intermittierend über die Abgabedüsen 14 durch die Abgabeöffnungen 15 abgebbar und mit Hilfe der Breitschlitzdüse 17 auf das Substrat S auftragbar sind. Die den Auftragsmodulen 1 , 2, 3, 4 zugeordneten Abgabeöffnungen 15 können - je nach auf dem vorbeibewegten Substrat aufzubringendem Auftragsmuster - unterschiedliche Öffnungsbreiten quer zur Vorlaufrichtung V des Substrats S aufweisen. Die Öffnungsbreiten müssen lediglich, sofern bereichsweise ein flächiger Linienauftrag gewünscht wird - aneinander angepasst sein. In Fig. 1 ist schraffiert ein denkbares Auftragsmuster M dargestellt, wie es mit einer erfindungsgemäßen Vorrichtung realisierbar ist. Hierzu weist die dem Auftragsmodul 1 zugeordnete Abgabeöffnung eine Breite auf, die zu einer Auftragsspur A1 führt. Das Auftragsmodul 2, welches bei dem dargestellten Auftragsbei- spiel kürzer intermittierend betätigt wurde als das Auftragsmodul 1 , ist einer Abgabeöffnung 15 zugeordnet, welche die Auftragsspur A2 bewirkt. Die intermittierende Abgabe des fluiden Mediums über das Auftragsmodul 3 führt zu der Auftragsspur A3, Auftragsmodul 4 erzeugt die Spur A4 und Auftragsmodul 5 entsprechend A5. Aus diesem in Fig. 1 beispielhaft dargestellten Auftragsmuster wird ersichtlich, dass mit Hilfe der erfindungsgemäßen, zwei Reihen 7, 8 an Auftragsmodulen aufweisenden Vorrichtung 100 Auftragsspuren sowohl in bereichsweise flächenhafter, als auch in Spuren geringerer Breite auf ein vorbeibewegtes Substrat aufbringbar sind, als dies mit einer herkömmlichen, lediglich einer Reihe dicht an dicht angeordneter Auftragsmodule möglich wäre. Patentansprüche:  claims:
