Claims (4)

  1. Apparatus for applying a fluid (5) to a continuously transported web (4),
    whereby, the fluid (5) is transferred to the web (4) by a continuously rotating transfer roller, for example, by an engraved roller (11) with engraving flutes (12) on the circumference, whereby, an application head (10) is provided, in order to transfer the fluid (5) to the circumference of the engraving roller (11); whereby, the transfer head (10) features a chamber (13) which is open towards the circumference of the engraving roller (11) with an inlet (14) and an outlet (15) for the fluid (5) to be applied, and, whereby, this single chamber (13) is confined in its direction of rotation at the forward outer surface by a front scraper (16) and in its direction of rotation at the rear outer surface by a rear scraper (18), both of which abut the circumference of the engraving roller (11) forming a seal,
    whereby, the contact pressure of the rear scraper (18) on the engraving roller (11) is formed by a rigid support (28) characterized in that,
    both scrapers (16, 18) are arranged negative to the direction of rotation of the transfer roller,
