Description

The invention relates to a method for controlling a hazard alarm system and to a hazard alarm system. Such hazard alarm systems often have a fire alarm center to which a large number of hazard alarms and alarm devices are connected. For example, in large office buildings, the individual hazard detectors can then be monitored via the fire alarm control panel. If a dangerous condition, for example a fire, is detected by one or more hazard alarms, the fire alarm center can activate some or all of the alarm devices so that, for example, the building can be evacuated. In order to allow such an evacuation to proceed in an orderly manner, several alarm devices are often to be activated, which then send out their, for example, acoustic alarm signals in overlapping time periods. The problem here is that with overlapping signal courses and at certain frequencies of the signal tones, a mixture of signal tones from different alarm devices can occur, so that the original signal tone can no longer be recognized or distinguished. In addition, it is often undesirable to activate all alarm devices in such a large building at the same time, since an orderly evacuation is then no longer possible.

Out U.S. 6 028 513 A a method and a device for wireless activation of a plurality of alarm devices when a single device is triggered are known. Upon receipt of an alarm signal based on a detected alarm state, a control signal is transmitted from a central control unit to a plurality of alarm devices. An active period of the plurality of alarm devices should be synchronized.

Weitere Evakuierungssysteme mit ansteuerbaren Alarmeinrichtungen sind bekannt aus US 2009/0092263 A1 , WO 00/225 91 A1 , US 2006/021 480 9 A1 und US 2006/007 180 2 A1 .Out US 2005/0231349 A1 a system for evacuating people in a building is known, in which reporting units detect a dangerous situation and generate an alarm signal which is transmitted to a central station via a gateway. Based on the explained prior art, the invention is based on the object of providing a method and a hazard alarm system of the type mentioned at the beginning, with control being carried out in such a way that a safe and orderly evacuation of a building is possible and in particular acoustic signal tones can be recognized or distinguished at any time are.

The invention solves this problem with the subject matter of claims 1 and 12. Advantageous embodiments can be found in the dependent claims, the description and the figures.

The invention achieves the object on the one hand by a method for controlling a hazard alarm system, which has a control device and a plurality of triggering devices connected to the control device, the triggering devices each being connected to at least one alarm device, comprising the steps: in an initialization step, the triggering devices Assigned identification data, a control signal for activating or deactivating the alarm devices is periodically sent to all triggering devices by the control device, identification data of one or more triggering devices being transmitted with the control signal, the identification data transmitted by the control device being compared by the triggering devices with the identification data assigned to them if the triggering devices determine that the identification data compared with one another match, they send ei n Control signal for activating or deactivating the alarm devices connected to them, so that the alarm devices to be activated or deactivated are activated or deactivated synchronously.

The invention achieves the object on the other hand by a hazard alarm system with a control device and a plurality of triggering devices connected to the control device via a control line, which in turn are each connected to at least one alarm device, the triggering devices each having a storage device in which the triggering devices are assigned Identification data are stored, the control device having a transmitting device via which a control signal for activating or deactivating the alarm devices can be sent to all triggering devices, with the control signal being used to identify identification data of one or more triggering devices can be transmitted, and wherein the triggering devices each have a comparison device which is designed to compare the identification data sent by the control device with the identification data stored in the storage device, and wherein the triggering devices are designed to match when the compared identification data to send a control signal for activation or deactivation to the alarm devices connected to them, so that the alarm devices to be activated or deactivated are activated or deactivated synchronously.

According to the invention, a control device is connected via at least one line, for example what is known as a primary fire alarm line, to a multiplicity of triggering devices, which in turn are each connected to at least one alarm device. The triggering devices and alarm devices can also each form an integrated triggering and alarm device. Identification data, in particular communication addresses, are each assigned to the release devices. They can be reached by the control device via this. The invention allows specific triggering devices and thus alarm devices to be controlled. To this end, the control device sends a common command, in particular what is known as a broadcast command, to all triggering devices. The common command is independent of the identification data and is received and processed by all triggering devices. With this common command, for example a command to activate the alarm devices, the control device also sends one or more sets of identification data. Only those tripping devices whose previously programmed identification data are sent with the common command then actually implement the common command. By selecting the identification data sent with the common command, the desired triggering and thus alarm devices can be specifically selected will. In this way, specific groups of triggering or alarm devices can be controlled in a targeted manner, for example all alarm devices of a specific building, a specific building wing or a building floor. In this way, the floors of a building can be evacuated one after the other in a manner suitable for an orderly evacuation, in that a corresponding evacuation signal is sent via the alarm devices arranged on the respective floor. For this purpose, the triggering devices each have at least one control output, which is activated to trigger the respective alarm device if the identification data sent by the control device and the identification data stored in the triggering device match. A control input of the alarm devices connected to the respective release devices is connected to the control output of the release devices.

The invention also ensures a synchronous, ie simultaneous activation or deactivation of the alarm devices selected in each case. Thus, the triggering command for activating or deactivating the alarm devices is transmitted from the triggering devices selected by means of the respective identification data practically simultaneously to the alarm devices connected to these triggering devices. The simultaneous or synchronous starting of the alarm devices, in particular acoustic alarm devices such as sirens, has the advantage that the acoustic signal progression in the building can still be perceived at any time without a mixture of signal tones from all alarm devices occurring and the actual signal tone no longer being distinguishable. The invention therefore ensures an orderly evacuation in the event of a fire at all times.

The control signal for activating or deactivating the alarm devices is periodically sent to all triggers by the control device facilities sent. In order to avoid a (permanent) activation of the triggering and thus alarm devices, for example due to a fault, it can be provided that the triggering devices and possibly the alarm devices turn off automatically after a certain deactivation time, for example a few seconds. As long as an alarm is desired, in this embodiment the control device sends activation pulses to the triggering devices at sufficiently short intervals (less than the deactivation time) so that the alarm devices remain active.

According to one embodiment, the control signal for activating or deactivating the alarm devices can be sent from the control device to the triggering devices if at least one triggering device has previously sent a danger signal to the control device. Signals, in particular commands and data, can be exchanged bidirectionally via the connection between the control device and the release devices. In particular, in addition to the control signals sent by the control device to the triggering devices, for example, hazard alarm signals can also be sent from the triggering devices to the control device, for example if a dangerous condition such as a fire is detected by one or more triggering devices. In this embodiment, if a fire is detected in a room of a building, an alarm signal can be triggered in the entire building wing or floor in which the room is located. It is also possible for the control device to use the control signal for activating or deactivating the alarm devices to transmit the identification data of at least those triggering devices that previously sent a danger signal to the control device.

According to a further embodiment, a communication address that uniquely identifies the release devices can be assigned to the release devices as identification data. In this configuration, each release device an individual communication address is assigned so that all release devices can be controlled individually. Alternatively, it is also possible to form several groups of triggering devices, the triggering devices of a group being assigned a common communication address as identification data. In this refinement, the release devices of different groups can be controlled individually, with the release devices of a group being able to be controlled (only) together. For example, the release devices can be divided into groups according to the floors of a building.

The release devices can be connected in series to a control line of the control device. So there is serial communication between the control device and the release devices. Furthermore, the triggering devices can also be supplied electrically via the control line. The control line between the control device and the triggering devices, for example a primary fire alarm line, can therefore have at least two wires, one used for communication between the control device and the triggering devices, in particular for transmitting the control signals, and the other for the electrical supply of the triggering devices and / or the Alarm devices.

The release devices can be danger detectors. In particular, the hazard alarms can be fire alarms, for example smoke alarms. The alarm devices can be optical and / or acoustic alarm devices. The control device can be a fire alarm center.

The device according to the invention can be designed to carry out the method according to the invention. The method according to the invention can accordingly be carried out with the device according to the invention.

An embodiment of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to a drawing. The single figure shows schematically a hazard alarm system according to the invention.

The hazard alarm system according to the invention has a control device 10, in the present example a fire alarm center 10. The hazard alarm system also has a large number of triggering devices 12, in the present example hazard alarms 12, for example fire alarms. The hazard alarms 12 are connected in series to the fire alarm center 10 via a control line 14, in the present case a so-called primary fire alarm line 14. The primary fire alarm line 14 is used for a bidirectional exchange of signals between the central fire alarm system 10 and the hazard alarms 12. In addition, the primary fire alarm line 14 also provides electrical power to the hazard alarms 12 16 is connected to an alarm device 18, in the example shown an acoustic alarm device 18, such as a siren. The alarm devices 18 can additionally also comprise optical alarm devices, such as flashing lights.

During operation, in an initialization step, the hazard alarms 12 are initially assigned identification data, in particular communication addresses, on the basis of which they can be identified by the fire alarm center 10. For example, the hazard detectors 12 with the alarm devices 18 assigned to them can be divided into several groups, the hazard detectors 12 of a group each being assigned the same communication address. The hazard alarms 12 and alarm devices 18 can thus be divided into groups according to the floors of a building equipped with the hazard alarm system. The hazard alarms 12 each have a memory device in which the communication addresses are stored.

Dies wiederum führt zu einem Auslösen der entsprechenden Alarmeinrichtungen 18.If, for example, a hazardous condition such as a fire is detected by one or more hazard alarms 12 during operation, a corresponding hazard signal can be sent via a transmitting and receiving device of the hazard alarm (s) to a transmitting and receiving device of the fire alarm center 10. If, for example, it is decided in the fire alarm center 10 that the building is to be evacuated, the hazard alarms 12 can be controlled by the fire alarm center 10 to activate the alarm devices 18 assigned to them. For this purpose, a common command, in particular a so-called broadcast command, to activate the alarm devices 18 is first sent to all hazard detectors 12 by the fire alarm center 10 via its transmitting and receiving device. This common command is received by all hazard alarms 12 via the transmitting and receiving devices. With the common command, the fire alarm center 10 initially transmits, for example, the identification data of a first group of hazard alarms 12. The hazard alarms 12 each have a comparison device by means of which the identification data transmitted by the fire alarm center 10 are compared with the identification data stored in the memory device of the respective hazard alarm 12. If the comparison device determines a match, a control output of the corresponding hazard alarms 12 is activated and an activation signal is sent via the connecting lines 16 to a control input of the corresponding alarm devices 18. This in turn leads to the corresponding alarm devices 18 being triggered.

After a certain alarm time of the alarm devices 18 of this first group of hazard detectors 12, the hazard detectors 12 of a second and subsequently further groups can be activated in a corresponding manner, so that these hazard detectors 12 also successively activate their alarm devices 18. In In the same way as described above for activation, the alarm devices 18 of the respective preceding group can be deactivated again, so that only the alarm devices 18 of one group are activated. In this way, for example, an office building with many floors can be evacuated successively in an orderly manner.

In addition, the activation of the hazard alarms 12 according to the invention leads to a practically simultaneous activation of the alarm devices 18 by the respective activated hazard alarms 12. With the activated acoustic alarm devices 18, this ensures that the respective alarm signal, for example an acoustic evacuation signal, is still clearly recognizable at all times is. In particular, superimpositions of acoustic signals from different alarm devices, which can lead to the acoustic signal no longer being clearly recognizable, are reliably avoided.

It can also be provided that the alarm devices 18 deactivate themselves again automatically after a predetermined alarm duration of, for example, a few seconds. In such a case, during the desired alarm duration of the alarm devices 18 of a group, a periodically recurring activation of the corresponding hazard detectors 12 and thus the alarm devices 18 can take place. Each of these controls then represents a renewed activation pulse for the alarm devices 18, so that continuous alarming is ensured during the desired period. The activation pulses must occur with a sufficient frequency to prevent the alarm devices (18) from switching off automatically.
