Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine lastabtragende Stütze für Fenster von Yachten, Kreuzfahrtschiffen und dergleichen. Die Fensterscheiben von derartigen Wasserfahrzeugen sind durch Wind und einwirkendes Wasser hohen Druckbelastungen ausgesetzt. Hierdurch wird die mögliche Größe der Fenster begrenzt. Um dennoch großflächige Glasflächen zu erzielen, werden Scheiben mehrfach fortlaufend in so genannten Fensterbändern nebeneinander angeordnet. Um die an den Verglasungsflächen auftretenden Lasten aus Winddruck sowie See- und Wellenschlag aufnehmen und an die Schiffsstruktur weiterzuleiten, werden üblicherweise massive Stützen aus Stahl oder Aluminium, manchmal auch aus Verbundfaserwerkstoff, mit einem quadratischen oder rechteckigen Querschnitt zwischen Einzelscheiben oder raumseitig hinter mehrschichtigen Glasscheiben angeordnet.The invention relates to a load-bearing support for windows of yachts, cruise liners and the like. Bedingt durch die speziellen Eigenschaften dieser Werkstoffe sowie durch gestalterische Vorgaben werden diese Stützen zusätzlich isoliert und verkleidet, wodurch das Volumen bzw. der Querschnitt dieser Bauteile weiter vergrößert wird. Mehrteilige Fenster auf seegehenden Fahrzeugen, Schiffen und Yachten können nach dem Stand der Technik nicht ohne störende Unterbrechungen durch breite Stützen bzw. Pfeiler hergestellt werden. Je kleiner der Betrachtungswinkel auf eine Fensterfläche wird, desto dominanter erscheinen die Stützen bis hin zur vollständigen Abdeckung der Scheiben. Ein weiterer Nachteil ist, dass die Lichtstreuung beeinträchtigt und die Ausleuchtung von Räumen durch Tageslicht eingeschränkt wird. Das Dokument
Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass für die Stütze ein Trägerelement vorgesehen ist, welches eine oder mehrere Glasplatten aufweist. Hierdurch wird die Ausleuchtung von Räumen mit Tageslicht erheblich verbessert. Bei Fenstern von Schiffsbrücken erhöht die erfindungsgemäße Stütze zudem erheblich die Sicherheit, da die Durchsicht bei Betrachtung nach außen auch aus einem spitzen Betrachtungswinkel möglich ist und die so genannten toten Winkel erheblich reduziert werden. Claims (3)
- A load-bearing support (1) for windows (100) of yachts, cruise ships and the like, with a support element (2), having one or more glass plates (3) and the support (1) having a fitting (4, 5) at each of the two ends of the support element (2) for connection to the ship structure, and the support element (2) being arranged between the two fittings (4, 5), characterised in that the fittings (4, 5) each have an outer base (6) with a recess (7) and an enclosure (8) for the support element (2), which is completely or partially inserted into the recess (7), wherein at each end of the support element (2) an enclosure (8) is fastened, preferably by adhesive bonding, and the enclosure (8) is displaceably formed within the recess (7) of the base (6), relative to the support (1) in the axial direction.
