Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine lastabtragende Stütze für Fenster von Yachten, Kreuzfahrtschiffen und dergleichen. Die Fensterscheiben von derartigen Wasserfahrzeugen sind durch Wind und einwirkendes Wasser hohen Druckbelastungen ausgesetzt. Hierdurch wird die mögliche Größe der Fenster begrenzt. Um dennoch großflächige Glasflächen zu erzielen, werden Scheiben mehrfach fortlaufend in so genannten Fensterbändern nebeneinander angeordnet. Um die an den Verglasungsflächen auftretenden Lasten aus Winddruck sowie See- und Wellenschlag aufnehmen und an die Schiffsstruktur weiterzuleiten, werden üblicherweise massive Stützen aus Stahl oder Aluminium, manchmal auch aus Verbundfaserwerkstoff, mit einem quadratischen oder rechteckigen Querschnitt zwischen Einzelscheiben oder raumseitig hinter mehrschichtigen Glasscheiben angeordnet.The invention relates to a load-bearing support for windows of yachts, cruise liners and the like. Claims (3)

  1. A load-bearing support (1) for windows (100) of yachts, cruise ships and the like, with a support element (2), having one or more glass plates (3) and the support (1) having a fitting (4, 5) at each of the two ends of the support element (2) for connection to the ship structure, and the support element (2) being arranged between the two fittings (4, 5), characterised in that the fittings (4, 5) each have an outer base (6) with a recess (7) and an enclosure (8) for the support element (2), which is completely or partially inserted into the recess (7), wherein at each end of the support element (2) an enclosure (8) is fastened, preferably by adhesive bonding, and the enclosure (8) is displaceably formed within the recess (7) of the base (6), relative to the support (1) in the axial direction.
  2. The load-bearing support (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the support element (2) comprises a plurality of glass plates (3) which form a glass composite laminated in a vacuum heating process.
  3. The load-bearing support (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the support (1) or the support element (8) is fastened at the end face to the surface of the windows (100) to be supported, in particular by an adhesive (18), and preferably covers a glass joint or a joint (103) between two individual window panes each.
