Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine waffenbasierte Schutzeinrichtung (1) als Aufbau für ein Objekt, insbesondere ein Fahrzeug (10) ohne Waffenturm umfassend: ein aktives die Zielrichtung, vorzugsweise in Azimut und/oder Elevation, automatisiert ausrichtendes Schutzsystem (2) mit mindestens einer Abschusseinrichtung (3) zum gerichteten Abschuss von Effektoren, insbesondere sog. Hard-Kill-Geschossen, zum Schutz gegen anfliegende Bedrohungen, ein hinsichtlich der Zielrichtung, vorzugsweise in Azimut und/oder Elevation, ausrichtbares Waffensystem (4). Zur Verbesserung der Leistung der Schutzeinrichtung wird vorgeschlagen, dass das das Schutzsystem (2) sowie das Waffensystem (4) eine gemeinsame vertikale Drehachse aufweisen. Hierdurch können einerseits Materialeinsparungen sowie Gewichtseinsparungen und damit die Reaktionsfähigkeit der Schutzeinrichtung gesteigert sowie eine Abschattung der Systeme gegeneinander über einen Umfangsbereich von 360° vermieden werden.
