Definitions
- the invention relates to a roll-up eaves tape according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the DE 44 04 150 C1 describes a roll-up eaves tape, which has a fastening strip with which it can be attached to a eaves batten. From the fastening strip protrudes from a sealing strip, which forms a sealing element which can rest spring biased on the underside of the roofing panels.
- the fastening strip can be nailed to the eaves batten in order to seal the opening between gutter and formwork, in particular a pitched roof so that no small animals can penetrate into the opening, but it is ensured that the air required for ventilation can pass through the opening of the Traubandes ,
- the WO 2008/148408 A1 describes a ridge sealing strip and a roll-up eaves tape.
- the roll-up eaves tape has a sealing strip and a fastening strip. The two strips are connected together to form a hinge connection.
- the fastening strip and the sealing strip are essentially in a flat position, which allows the eaves to be rolled up.
- fastening strips and sealing strips are at an approximately 90 ° angle to one another.
- the US 2005/0054284 A1 describes a ridge sealing strip, which consists of two parts connected to each other. The two parts are held with spacer bars at a distance to each other.
- the DE 40 06 864 C1 describes a eaves ventilation profile.
- This has a fastening strip, which can be fastened to the eaves of a roof on which the eaves support can be fastened and which forms the lowest roof batten on which the wavy shaped roofing plates are supported. From the mounting strips protrude a plurality of spaced-apart fingers. These fingers form a comb-like sealing member for sealing the opening between the underside of the roofing panels and the eaves batten to prevent small animals from entering this space.
- the fingers made of plastic are bent elastically and are spring-biased by the own elasticity on the underside of the roofing tiles.
- This known eaves ventilation profile has a high rigidity, so that it is difficult to roll up.

- the sealing strip then runs across it.
- the hinge connection is in the mounted position in the region of an edge of the eaves batten, so that the sealing strip has a downwardly projecting portion. This can be permeable to air and, if it has a sufficient length, seal the opening between eaves batten and formwork or roof underlay.
- This downwardly projecting section can be connected to the face of the eaves batten via nails or staples.
- the sealing element which can also be formed by fingers in the eaves tape according to the invention, can then create spring-biased against the underside of the roofing panels.
- the hinge connection is realized by means of a plug connection.
- the sealing strip and the fastening strip are made as separate parts and connected together to form a hinge.
- One of the two strips can form tabs which are inserted into slots of the other strip.
- the tabs may have a crank. If this is the case, the fastening strip can lie with virtually no tension with the sealing strip in the packaging position in a flat position. On such a cranking but can be omitted because the residual stress in the flatness does not hinder the rolling of the eaves tape.
- the sealing element that is to say preferably the fingers extending transversely to the direction of extent of the sealing strip, can be formed by the tabs.
- the only a small distance mutually having tabs can then be multiple slotted, the slot spacing can correspond to the distance of the tabs.
- the tabs protrude from a base portion of the sealing strip, which in this configuration forms an air-permeable portion because it has a plurality of vane-like arranged vents.
- the base portion then has a width sufficient to close the opening between eaves batten and formwork or roof underlay.
- the sealing element ie preferably the fingers, are formed by the base section.
- the air-permeable portion which closes the opening between eaves batten and shuttering may be formed by the tabs.
- holding elements are provided which inhibit the sealing strip in the use position against pivoting back into the packaging position. These retaining elements can be formed by both the fastening strip and the sealing strip. They preferably lie on the side facing the ridge within the angular clearance between the fastening strips and the sealing strips and supportively rest against the fingers or the finger-forming section of the sealing strip.
- the holding elements are formed by spring tongues. Particularly preferably, the slots through which the tabs are inserted, arcuate. The inner arc sections then form the spring tongues.
- the spring tongues are in the use position of the flatness and unfold a Schwenkhemmrial on the tabs forming strips. In the packaging position, the inner arc sections also develop a Schwenkhemmrial. When pivoting the sealing strip against the fastening strip from the flat position, the spring tongues. They pivot out of the plane of extension of the sealing strip and lie down, for example, on the Base section of the sealing strip. You reach about when exceeding a 90 ° -Schwenk ein a dead center. The spring tongues snap through the slot opening on the other side of the sealing strip and are, for example, on the tabs. The direction of the Schwenkhemm Mann that unfold the spring tongues, has reversed when snapping.
- the spring tongues are in the packaging position on the base portion or on the tabs and in the use position on the other side, ie on the tabs or the base portion.
- the spring tongues are preferably on the side facing the ridge of the fingers to build up the counterforce, which acts against the spring bias, with which the sealing element rests against the underside of the roofing panels.
- Verhakungs comprise, especially in the form of barbs, provided with which the tabs are held in the slots. These are arranged at the foot of the tabs elements which engage over the wall of the slot.
- the interlocking elements may be formed by recesses in the foot region of the tabs.

The invention has for its object to provide a roll-up eaves tape, with which the gap between the underside of the roofing panels and the eaves batten is effectively sealed.
The object is achieved by the invention specified in the claims. First and foremost, it is provided that the sealing strip is connected to the fastening strip via a hinge connection. To this hinge connection, the two strips can be pivoted against each other. The hinge axis extends in the extension direction of the eaves band. In the packaging position, the two strips lie in a flat position. They are essentially stress-free in a flat position. A certain residual stress, which can be caused by the nature of the hinge connection, affects the rolling of the eaves tape only immaterial. The two strips can be pivoted from the packaging position into a use position. In this case, the fastening strip is pivoted relative to the sealing strip around the hinge axis. In the use position, a cross or a T-cross-sectional profile of the two strips is formed. The fastening strip can protrude from the sealing strip on one side. It can also be nailed to the top of the eaves batten, which supports the roofing tiles. The sealing strip then runs across it. The hinge connection is in the mounted position in the region of an edge of the eaves batten, so that the sealing strip has a downwardly projecting portion. This can be permeable to air and, if it has a sufficient length, seal the opening between eaves batten and formwork or roof underlay. This downwardly projecting section can be connected to the face of the eaves batten via nails or staples. The sealing element, which can also be formed by fingers in the eaves tape according to the invention, can then create spring-biased against the underside of the roofing panels. In a further development of the invention it is provided that the hinge connection is realized by means of a plug connection. The sealing strip and the fastening strip are made as separate parts and connected together to form a hinge. One of the two strips can form tabs which are inserted into slots of the other strip. The tabs may have a crank. If this is the case, the fastening strip can lie with virtually no tension with the sealing strip in the packaging position in a flat position. On such a cranking but can be omitted because the residual stress in the flatness does not hinder the rolling of the eaves tape. The sealing element, that is to say preferably the fingers extending transversely to the direction of extent of the sealing strip, can be formed by the tabs. The only a small distance mutually having tabs can then be multiple slotted, the slot spacing can correspond to the distance of the tabs. The tabs protrude from a base portion of the sealing strip, which in this configuration forms an air-permeable portion because it has a plurality of vane-like arranged vents. The base portion then has a width sufficient to close the opening between eaves batten and formwork or roof underlay. In a variant, it can be provided that the sealing element, ie preferably the fingers, are formed by the base section. In this case, the air-permeable portion which closes the opening between eaves batten and shuttering may be formed by the tabs. In a further development of the invention holding elements are provided which inhibit the sealing strip in the use position against pivoting back into the packaging position. These retaining elements can be formed by both the fastening strip and the sealing strip. They preferably lie on the side facing the ridge within the angular clearance between the fastening strips and the sealing strips and supportively rest against the fingers or the finger-forming section of the sealing strip. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the holding elements are formed by spring tongues. Particularly preferably, the slots through which the tabs are inserted, arcuate. The inner arc sections then form the spring tongues. The spring tongues are in the use position of the flatness and unfold a Schwenkhemmwirkung on the tabs forming strips. In the packaging position, the inner arc sections also develop a Schwenkhemmwirkung. When pivoting the sealing strip against the fastening strip from the flat position, the spring tongues. They pivot out of the plane of extension of the sealing strip and lie down, for example, on the Base section of the sealing strip. You reach about when exceeding a 90 ° -Schwenkstellung a dead center. The spring tongues snap through the slot opening on the other side of the sealing strip and are, for example, on the tabs. The direction of the Schwenkhemmwirkung that unfold the spring tongues, has reversed when snapping. The sealing strip is now pivotally inhibited against pivoting back into the packaging position. Preferably, the spring tongues are in the packaging position on the base portion or on the tabs and in the use position on the other side, ie on the tabs or the base portion. In the use position, the spring tongues are preferably on the side facing the ridge of the fingers to build up the counterforce, which acts against the spring bias, with which the sealing element rests against the underside of the roofing panels. In one embodiment of the invention Verhakungselemente, especially in the form of barbs, provided with which the tabs are held in the slots. These are arranged at the foot of the tabs elements which engage over the wall of the slot. The interlocking elements may be formed by recesses in the foot region of the tabs. However, the interlocking elements can also be formed by projections. The fastening strip and the sealing strip can be made of plastic or metal. It is essential that the material is an elastic material. The eaves tape according to the invention is characterized in that it consists of two flexible components, which can be folded to save space and then let roll up as long parts. During assembly, both components are laid in a single operation by the eaves tape is rolled out on the eaves bar, wherein it rests with the fastening strip on the top and with the sealing strip on the front side of the eaves batten. Preferably, the eaves tape unfolds a dual function. It acts on the one hand as a gutter comb to seal the opening between the underside of the roofing panels and the eaves batten, and on the other hand as a ventilation band to seal the opening between eaves batten and shell. This opening is created because on the rafters first a roof underlay or below a formwork is applied. On this formwork or roof underlayment then running counter-battens are applied in the direction of the rafters. The counter battens carry the battens to which the roofing tiles are attached. The lowest batten, which is attached directly to the rafter end, is usually carried out twice and forms the eaves batten.
