Abstract

The clamp (3) has a frame (4) fixed on a vibrator, and a clamp body (5) comprising object gripping units i.e. gripping jaws (6a, 6b) mounted to pivot with respect to the frame between a gripping position of the object and an active work position. A locking unit (9) i.e. rectilinear tooth, locks the clamp body on the frame in the work position on the frame and transmits vibrations emitted from the vibrator to the body. The locking unit includes fixed and movable bits provided on the frame and the clamp body. A hydraulic locking cylinder i.e. piston, controls relative displacement of the bits. An independent claim is also included for a vibrator for inserting objects into ground.
