Description

  • L'invention relève du domaine de l'alimentation en carburant d'un moteur à combustion interne équipant un véhicule automobile. Elle a pour objet un système d'injection pour alimenter en carburant au moins une chambre de combustion d'un moteur à combustion interne équipant un véhicule automobile. Elle a aussi pour objet un dispositif d'alimentation en carburant comprenant un tel système d'injection. Elle a enfin pour objet un procédé d'assemblage d'un tel dispositif d'alimentation.
  • Le document FR 2,817,297 (ROBERT BOSCH GmbH) décrit un système d'injection pour alimenter en carburant une chambre de combustion d'un moteur à combustion interne équipant un véhicule automobile. Le système d'injection est interposé entre le moteur à combustion interne et un réservoir de carburant équipant également le véhicule automobile. Le système d'injection comprend une chambre collectrice haute-pression et une pompe haute-pression qui alimente en carburant cette dernière. La chambre collectrice haute-pression alimente en carburant à haute pression des injecteurs équipant des chambres de combustion que comporte le moteur à combustion interne. Chaque injecteur est pourvu d'une conduite respective haute-pression qui est en relation avec la chambre collectrice à haute pression. Chaque conduite haute-pression est équipée d'une conduite de fin de commande qui relie la conduite haute-pression au réservoir de carburant. De même, chaque injecteur est pourvu d'une conduite de fuite qui relie l'injecteur au réservoir de carburant. Ces dispositions permettent un retour de carburant depuis la conduite haute pression et/ou depuis l'injecteur vers le réservoir de carburant.
  • Un tel système s'avère encombrant en raison d'un nombre élevé de conduites dont il faut permettre un passage sécurisé pour relier la conduite haute-pression et/ou l'injecteur au réservoir de carburant. De plus, la circulation de carburant à l'intérieur de la conduite de fin de commande et/ou de la conduite de fuite est consommatrice d'énergie ce qu'il est préférable d'éviter. Autrement dit, un retour de carburant depuis l'injecteur et/ou depuis la conduite haute-pression pose un problème général d'encombrement et de consommation énergétique qu'il est souhaitable d'éviter.
  • Un but de la présente invention est de proposer un système d'injection interposé entre un réservoir de carburant et un moteur à combustion interne équipant un véhicule automobile, le système d'injection étant peu encombrant, léger, facile à assembler et comportant un nombre minimum d'éléments, un tel système d'injection étant de surcroît aisément et rapidement raccordable au réservoir de carburant, un tel système d'injection offrant par ailleurs un meilleur compromis possible entre un coût de réalisation et une consommation énergétique en carburant. Un autre but de la présente invention est de proposer un dispositif d'alimentation en carburant comprenant un tel système d'injection et le réservoir de carburant dont l'assemblage entre eux est facile et rapide.
  • Un système de la présente invention est un système d'injection d'un carburant à l'intérieur d'un moteur à combustion interne équipant un véhicule automobile. Le système d'injection comprend une chambre collectrice haute-pression.
  • Selon la présente invention, le système d'injection comprend un point de connexion unique avec un réservoir de carburant équipant le véhicule automobile.
  • Le système d'injection comprend préférentiellement une pompe haute-pression équipée d'une première conduite comprenant le point de connexion unique.
  • De préférence, le système d'injection comprend successivement le point de connexion unique, la première conduite, la pompe haute-pression et la chambre collectrice haute-pression, selon un sens de circulation du carburant à l'intérieur du système d'injection.
  • Le système d'injection comprend avantageusement au moins un injecteur de carburant.
  • Le système d'injection comprend avantageusement un canal de retour qui est interposé entre l'injecteur et un point de retour constitutif de la première conduite.
  • Un dispositif d'alimentation en carburant du moteur à combustion interne de la présente invention est principalement reconnaissable en ce que le dispositif d'alimentation comprend le réservoir de carburant et un tel système d'injection.
  • Le dispositif d'alimentation comprend avantageusement le point de connexion unique du système d'injection et un point de raccordement unique du réservoir de carburant qui sont en relation fluidique l'un avec l'autre.
  • Un véhicule automobile de la présente invention est principalement reconnaissable en ce que le véhicule automobile est équipé d'un tel dispositif d'alimentation.
  • Un procédé d'assemblage du dispositif d'alimentation selon la présente invention est principalement reconnaissable en ce que le procédé d'assemblage du dispositif d'alimentation comprend une étape unique au cours de laquelle le point de connexion unique du système d'injection et le point de raccordement unique du réservoir de carburant sont mis en relation fluidique l'un avec l'autre.

  • Sur la figure 1 et la figure 2, un véhicule automobile est équipé d'un moteur à combustion interne 1, tel qu'un moteur Diesel. Le véhicule automobile est aussi équipé d'un réservoir de carburant 2 à l'intérieur duquel un carburant 3 est stocké. Le véhicule automobile est enfin pourvu d'un système d'injection 4 qui est destiné à faire circuler le carburant 3 depuis le réservoir de carburant 2 vers le moteur à combustion interne 1. A cet effet, le système d'injection 4 est interposé entre le réservoir de carburant 2 et le moteur à combustion interne 1. Le système d'injection 4 est également agencé pour pourvoir à un besoin intrinsèque en carburant du système d'injection 4.
  • Le système d'injection 4 comprend une pompe haute-pression 5 et une chambre collectrice haute-pression 6 qui est située en aval de la pompe haute-pression 5 selon un sens de circulation 7 du carburant à l'intérieur du système d'injection 4. La pompe haute-pression 5 est prévue pour collecter le carburant 3 à l'intérieur du réservoir de carburant 2 et fournir le carburant 3 à haute pression à la chambre collectrice haute-pression 6. La pompe haute-pression 5 est préférentiellement refroidie et/ou lubrifiée par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit d'huile moteur et/ou par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit d'eau moteur. A titre d'exemple, la chambre collectrice haute-pression 6 est apte à recevoir le carburant 3 à une pression allant de 300 bars à 1700 bars, voire 2000 bars. La chambre collectrice haute-pression 6, couramment dénommée rampe commune, d'après la terminologie anglo-saxonne « common rail », est principalement constituée d'un unique conduit haute-pression.
  • Le réservoir de carburant 2 est relié à la pompe haute-pression 5 par l'intermédiaire d'une première conduite 8. La pompe haute-pression 5 est également en communication fluidique avec la chambre collectrice haute-pression 6 par l'intermédiaire d'une deuxième conduite 9. La chambre collectrice haute-pression 6 est en relation avec au moins un injecteur 10 par l'intermédiaire d'un conduit respectif 11. Préférentiellement, les injecteurs 10 sont en pluralité et chaque injecteur 10 est affecté à une chambre de combustion respective 12 du moteur à combustion interne 1. Les injecteurs 10 sont notamment des injecteurs piézoélectriques qui sont aptes à contrôler précisément une quantité de carburant délivrée à la chambre de combustion 12 à laquelle chaque injecteur 10 est respectivement affecté.
  • Le système d'injection 4 de la présente invention comprend un point de connexion unique 13 avec le réservoir de carburant 2. Le point de connexion unique 13 entre le système d'injection 4 et le réservoir de carburant 2 est constitutif de la première conduite 8. Une telle unicité facilite une mise en relation du système d'injection 4 avec le réservoir de carburant 2. Ce dernier n'est affecté que par une seule relation avec le système d'injection 4 ce qui diminue un encombrement et un poids du système d'injection 4. En conséquence, le système d'injection 4 de la présente invention ne comporte aucun retour carburant vers le réservoir de carburant 2. Autrement dit, aucune conduite, autre que la première conduite 8, ne relie un quelconque élément du système d'injection 4 au réservoir de carburant 2. A l'encontre des habitudes prises dans le domaine, la présente invention propose de s'affranchir d'un quelconque retour de carburant depuis le système d'injection 4 vers le réservoir de carburant 2.
  • Ces dispositions sont telles que le système d'injection 4 est léger, peu encombrant, simple à réaliser, moins consommateur d'énergie pour une mise en circulation du carburant 3 et contribue à une réduction d'émission de dioxyde de carbone par le véhicule automobile que le système d'injection 4 équipe.
  • Selon une variante de la présente invention illustrée sur la figure 2, chaque injecteur 10 est équipé d'un canal de retour 14 qui s'étend entre l'injecteur 10 et un point de retour 15. Le canal de retour 14 est représenté en trait pointillé. Le point de retour 15 est situé sur la première conduite 8 en aval du point de connexion unique 13 selon le sens de circulation 7 du carburant à l'intérieur du dispositif d'injection 4. Autrement dit, et à l'encontre des habitudes prises dans le domaine, le point de retour 15 n'est pas constitutif du réservoir de carburant 2. Dans le cas où la première conduite 8 est pourvue d'un filtre à carburant et/ou d'une pompe de gavage et/ou d'un quelconque autre élément, la position du point de retour 15 entre ses éléments est indifférente.
  • Ces dispositions sont telles qu'un dispositif d'alimentation 16 en carburant 3 comprenant le système d'injection 4 et le réservoir de carburant 2 est facilement assemblable à partir de la mise en relation fluidique du point de connexion unique 13 avec un point de raccordement unique 17 constitutif du réservoir de carburant 2.
  • Il en découle qu'un procédé d'assemblage du dispositif d'alimentation 16 comprend une étape unique au cours de laquelle le point de connexion unique 13 du système d'injection 4 et le point de raccordement unique 17 du réservoir de carburant 2 sont mis en relation fluidique, sans qu'aucune autre mise en relation entre le système d'injection 4 et le réservoir de carburant 2 soit nécessaire. Autrement dit, la méthode est réalisée en une seule passe qui consiste à mettre en relation fluidique le point de connexion unique 13 du système d'injection 4 et le point de raccordement unique 17 du réservoir de carburant 2 pour permettre un écoulement du carburant 3 depuis le réservoir de carburant 2 vers le système d'injection 4.

Claims (9)

  1. Système d'injection (4) d'un carburant (3) à l'intérieur d'un moteur à combustion interne (1) équipant un véhicule automobile, le système d'injection (4) comprenant une chambre collectrice haute-pression (6), caractérisé en ce que le système d'injection (4) comprend un point de connexion unique (13) avec un réservoir de carburant (2) équipant le véhicule automobile.
  2. Système d'injection (4) selon la revendication précédente, caractérisé en ce que le système d'injection (4) comprend une pompe haute-pression (5) équipée d'une première conduite (8) comprenant le point de connexion unique (13).
  3. Système d'injection (4) selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que le système d'injection (4) comprend successivement le point de connexion unique (13), la première conduite (8), la pompe haute-pression (5) et la chambre collectrice haute-pression (6), selon un sens de circulation (7) du carburant (3) à l'intérieur du système d'injection (4).
  4. Système d'injection (4) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le système d'injection (4) comprend au moins un injecteur (10) de carburant (3).
  5. Système d'injection (4) selon les revendications 2 et 4, caractérisé en ce que le système d'injection (4) comprend un canal de retour (14) qui est interposé entre l'injecteur (10) et un point de retour (14) constitutif de la première conduite (8).
  6. Dispositif d'alimentation (16) en carburant (3) du moteur à combustion interne (1) comprenant le réservoir de carburant (2) et un système d'injection (4) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes.
  7. Dispositif d'alimentation (16) selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que le dispositif d'alimentation comprend le point de connexion unique (13) du système d'injection (4) et un point de raccordement unique (17) du réservoir de carburant (2) qui sont en relation fluidique l'un avec l'autre.
  8. Véhicule automobile équipé d'un dispositif d'alimentation (16) selon la revendication 7.
  9. Procédé d'assemblage du dispositif d'alimentation (16) selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que le procédé d'assemblage du dispositif d'alimentation (16) comprend une étape unique au cours de laquelle le point de connexion unique (13) du système d'injection (4) et le point de raccordement unique (17) du réservoir de carburant (2) sont mis en relation fluidique l'un avec l'autre.
