Abstract

The cosmetics container has a reservoir for storing the cosmetic agent and an applicator for applying the cosmetic agent to the eyelashes or hair. Description

The invention relates to a cosmetic container for a liquid or pasty cosmetic product, wherein this cosmetic container comprises a storage container for the cosmetic product and an applicator for applying the cosmetic product.

The cosmetics are preferably mascara. Alternatively, it may be but z. B. also be a hair dye (eg., For dyeing Haarsträhnchen) or the like. The cosmetics contained in the reservoir can be removed by the user by means of the applicator through a removal opening and applied to the skin or hair and in particular the eyelashes.

In the case of the cosmetic containers known from the prior art, the removal opening can be closed with a closure cap belonging to the cosmetic container, the applicator typically being fastened to this closure cap. During the application, the user must guide the applicator with one hand while holding the cosmetic container with the other hand.

It is an object of the invention to provide a particularly easy-to-use cosmetic container of the type mentioned.

This object is achieved by a cosmetic container having the features of claim 1. Preferred and advantageous developments and refinements emerge from the dependent claims and from the following explanations.

The proposed cosmetic container comprises a storage container for storing the cosmetic product and an applicator for applying the cosmetic composition to the skin or the hair and in particular the eyelashes. According to the invention, it is provided that the applicator is pivotably mounted or mounted on the cosmetic container and can be moved to and fro substantially solely by pivoting about a pivot axis between a rest position within the reservoir and at least one use position outside of the reservoir.

In the rest position, the applicator is within the reservoir. In the use position, the applicator is outside the reservoir and is so free that it can be brought into contact with the lot to be treated. The invention provides a pivoting mechanism for the applicator, with which this reversible between its rest position and at least one use position can be pivoted. The applicator also remains in the use position on the cosmetic container. Unlike prior art cosmetics containers, it is therefore not necessary to completely separate the applicator from the storage container in order to use it for application. It is preferably provided that the applicator is arc-shaped or banana-shaped with a substantially or even absolutely constant radius to the pivot axis, and thus can be pivoted and swung out through a removal opening of the reservoir.

Furthermore, it is preferably provided that a sealing element is arranged in the removal opening of the storage container. This sealing element has the task of preventing that in the closed state no cosmetic on the scraper over uncontrolled can escape to the outside. The sealing element can be an integral part of a scraper or as an additional, separate seal, preferably in the form of a flat gasket.
