Definitions
- the present application relates to the field of supporting mechanism, and particularly to a skeleton.
- the present application also relates to an umbrella and a canopy having the skeleton.
- the umbrella and the canopy are indispensable items in life.
- the structural forms of the skeletons greatly affect the usage ranges and performances of the umbrella and the canopy (see CN2409820Y ).
- the skeletons of the commonly used umbrella and canopy include two forms of structures.
- Fig. 1 is a structural schematic view of one typical skeleton.
- the first form of skeleton includes a main supporting rod 1, an upper fixing member 2, a main center rod 3, a push handle 4, a sub-center rod 5, an inclined supporting hole 6, a middle connecting piece 7, and a sub-supporting rod 8.
- An end of the main supporting rod 1 is hinged to the upper fixing member 2.
- the sub-supporting rod 8 is hinged to the middle connecting piece 7 which is fixedly connected to the main supporting rod 1.
- the main center rod 3 is fixedly provided at a lower end of the upper fixing member 2 in the axial direction of the upper fixing member 2.
- the inclined supporting hole 6 for inclined supporting is provided in the main supporting rod 3 and is a threaded hole, the axis of which is inclined towards the lower end of the main center rod 3.
- the lower end of the main center rod 3 is connected with the sub-center rod 5 via threads, the axes of the main center rod 3 and the sub-center rod 5 coincide with each other, and the diameters of the main center rod 3 and the sub-center rod 5 are equal.
- the thread on the sub-central rod 5 may be cooperated with the thread of the inclined supporting hole 6.
- the push handle 4 is moveably and surroundingly coupled with the sub-center rod 5, and the upper end of the push handle 4 is hinged with the sub-supporting rod 8.
- the lower end of the main center rod 3 is provided with a catching groove.
- the upper end of the push handle 4 is provided therein with a plastic member to be cooperated with the catching groove.
- the skeleton may be used for the supporting of the umbrella or the canopy.
- the push handle 4 is located at a lower end of the sub-central rod 5, such that the main supporting rod 1, the sub-supporting rod 8 and the main center rod 3 are approximately parallel.
- the push handle 4 is pushed upwardly along the sub-center rod 5 until the plastic member in the push handle 4 is coupled in the catching groove of the main center rod 3, and then, the umbrella or the canopy can be used.
- the sub-center rod 5 may be screwed off from the main center rod 3, and is screwed in the inclined supporting hole 6, to achieve the inclined supporting of the umbrella or the canopy.
- the main center rod 3 has a larger length, and the main supporting rod 1, the main center rod 3 and the sub-supporting rod 8 form an acute triangle, due to which a large space is formed at the top portion of the umbrella or the canopy and can not be utilized, resulting in waste of the space.
- Fig. 2 is a structural schematic view of the other typical skeleton.
- the second form of skeleton mainly makes improvements to the inclined supporting mechanism of the skeleton based on the first form of skeleton.
- the structure of the second form of skeleton is similar to that of the first form of skeleton, and the difference is that the second form of skeleton further includes an upper joint 9, a lower joint 10 and a sleeve 15.
- the upper joint 9 is fixedly connected with the main center rod 3
- the lower joint 10 is fixedly connected with the sub-center rod 5
- the upper joint 9 is hinged with the lower joint 10.
- the sleeve 15 is surroundingly provided on the upper joint 9 and the lower joint 10, and an end of the upper joint 9 is provided with a chamfer.
- the axes of the upper joint 9 and the lower joint 10 coincides with each other because of the sleeve 15, and the main center rod 3 and the sub-center rod 5 are also on the same line, thereby achieving the vertical supporting of the umbrella or the canopy.
- Fig. 3 is a schematic view of the skeleton in Fig. 2 supported in an inclined state.
- the sleeve 15 is pushed upwardly at a certain distance, then the sub-center rod 5 is rotated about the hinged line of the upper joint 9 and the lower joint 10, such that the upper joint 9 contacts, via the chamfer portion thereof, the lower joint 10, thereby the inclined supporting is achieved.
- the top portion of the umbrella or the canopy having this kind of skeleton still occupies a large space, thus the problem of wasting space is still unsolved.
- the structure of the second form of skeleton, where supported in the inclined manner has poor strength, thereby the usage safety of the umbrella or the canopy can not be ensured.
- the technical problem to be solved by those skilled in the art is to reduce the space occupied by the skeleton, and to provide a more reliable skeleton.
- a skeleton which reduces the space occupied by the skeleton. It is further provided according to the present application an umbrella and a canopy having the above skeleton.
- the skeleton further includes a sub-center rod which is coaxial with and is movably connected to the main center rod.
- the skeleton further includes a connecting member fixedly provided at a lower end of the main center rod.
- the connecting member is provided, at an end thereof, with an axial through hole extending in an axial direction of the connecting member and a radial through hole extending in a radial direction thereof.
- a flange is inwardly provided at a lower end of the axial through hole and a screw is hinged in the axial through hole.
- the screw is connected with the sub-center rod through threads.
- the radial through hole is provided at one end thereof with a chamfer and at the other end thereof with a plane extending in a radial direction.
- the sub-center rod is movably connected with the main center rod through threads.
- the skeleton further includes a joint via which the screw is fixedly connected to the sub-center rod.
- the sub-center rod is a telescopic rod.
- the main supporting rod is foldable or telescopic.
- the skeleton includes a connecting rod and a hook.
- the connecting rod is fixedly provided on the upper fixing member, and the hook is connected to the connecting rod.
- the skeleton according to the present application includes a main supporting rod, an upper fixing member, a main center rod, a push handle, a middle connecting piece and a sub-supporting rod.
- the main supporting rod is hinged to the sub-supporting rod via the middle connecting piece.
- the upper end of the main center rod is fixedly connected to the upper fixing member.
- the push handle is hinged to an end of the sub-supporting rod and is coaxial with the main center rod, and an inner hole of the push handle has a diameter larger than that of the main center rod.
- the push handle is separated from the main center rod and is in a lower position.
- the push handle is pushed upwardly.
- the push handle is pushed continuously until the interior angle formed by the main center rod and the sub-supporting rod, in the triangle formed by the main supporting rod, the main center rod and the sub-supporting rod, is an obtuse angle.
- the push handle is made in contact with the lower end of the upper fixing member.
- the main supporting rod is deformed under the restriction action of the fabric on the skeleton to the main supporting rod, thus the main supporting rod applies an upward supporting force to the sub-supporting rod, the sub-supporting rod in turn transfers the supporting force to the push handle, ensuring that the push handle, ever if no external force is applied, is maintained in its original state and will not slide downwardly, thereby the opening process of the umbrella or the canopy can be continued without additional structures.
- the final fixed position of the push handle not only ensures that the umbrella or the canopy can be maintained in the opened state by means of its own structure, meanwhile the push handle is made in contact with the upper fixing member meanwhile, thereby the distance between the upper fixing member and the push handle is shortened, the space occupied by the whole skeleton is significantly reduced, the space of the umbrella or the canopy that can be used is increased, and the utility of the umbrella or the canopy is significantly improved.
- an umbrella including an umbrella fabric and a skeleton fixedly connected therewith.
- the skeleton is the above skeleton. Since the above skeleton has the above advantageous technical effects, the umbrella with the skeleton should also have corresponding advantageous technical effects.
- a canopy including a tarpaulin and a skeleton fixedly connected therewith.
- the skeleton is the above skeleton. Since the above skeleton has the above advantageous technical effects, the canopy with the skeleton should also have corresponding advantageous technical effects.
- the object of the present application is to provide a skeleton which can reduce spaces occupied by the skeleton, achieve an inclined supporting of the skeleton conveniently, ensure the strength of the skeleton supported in the inclined manner, and enhance the utility of the skeleton.
- Another object of the present application is to provide an umbrella and a canopy having the above skeleton.
- Fig. 4 is a structural schematic view of a skeleton according to the present application.
- the skeleton according to the present application includes a main supporting rod 1, an upper fixing member 2, a main center rod 3, a push handle 4, a middle connecting piece 7 and a sub-supporting rod 8.
- the main supporting rod 1 is hinged to the sub-supporting rod 8 via the middle connecting piece 7.
- the upper end of the main center rod 3 is fixedly connected to the upper fixing member 2.
- the push handle 4 is hinged with an end of the sub-supporting rod 8, is coaxial with the main center rod 3, and an inner hole of the push handle has a diameter larger than that of the main center rod 3.
- Fig. 5 is a schematic view of the skeleton according to the present application in a shut state.
- Fig. 6 is a schematic view of the skeleton according to the present application in a spread state.
- the push handle 4 is pushed to move upwardly and is surroundingly coupled with the main center rod 3.
- the push handle 4 is pushed continuously until the interior angle formed by the sub-supporting rod 8 and the main center rod 3, in the triangle formed by the main center rod 3, the main supporting rod 1 and the sub-supporting rod 8, is an obtuse angle.
- the above structure takes advantage of interaction forces among the inner structures of the skeleton to maintain the spreading state of the skeleton, which does not need any additional structure. Thereby the above structure has fewer parts and is easy to operate.
- the upper fixing member 2 directly contacts the push handle 4, which reduces the distance between the upper fixing member 2 and the push handle 4, and thus the length of the main center rod 3 is shortened, spaces occupied by the skeleton is decreased, the inner space of the skeleton that can be used is increased, thereby the utility of the skeleton is improved.
- the skeleton further includes a connecting rod 13 and a hook 14.
- the connecting rod 13 is fixedly provided on the upper fixing member 2, and the hook 14 is connected with the connecting rod 13.
- the hook 14 is hooked in a hole of the push handle 4 to exert a pulling force on the skeleton. In this manner, even if blew by wind, or in other situations, the skeleton wouldn't collapse. Thus the whole skeleton is more reliable, and the usage safety of the skeleton is improved.
- an auxiliary supporting mechanism is provided at an edge of an umbrella or a canopy supported by the above skeleton to shade sunlight, wind or rain, etc.
- the skeleton is further provided with a sub-center rod 5.
- the sub-center rod 5 is coaxial with the main center rod 3, and is movably connected, via threads, with the main center rod 3.
- the push handle 4 can be surroundingly coupled with the sub-center rod 5 directly. Where the push handle 4 is pushed, the sub-center rod 5 acts as a guide rod, therefore the positioning is more convenient.
- the skeleton can be applied to other forms of supporting occasions.
- the main center rod 3 is usually solid and has high strength.
- the movable connection between the main center rod 3 and the sub-center rod 5 may be realized with a telescopic structure. That is, the diameter of the main center rod 3 is larger than that of the sub-center rod 5, the sub-center rod 5 can be pulled out where it needs to support with the sub-center rod 5, and can be pushed in the main center rod 3 where no such support is needed.
- the locking of the main center rod 3 and the sub-center rod 5 may employ the commonly used telescopic mechanism locking manner. It is clear that the telescopic mechanism locking manner is convenient to operate. However, since the main center rod 3 is hollow, there is a high requirement for the diameter of the main center rod 3.
- Fig. 7 is a schematic view of a skeleton according to the present application supported in an inclined manner.
- the skeleton according to the present application is further provided with an inclined supporting mechanism, for changing the angle that the skeleton is supported.
- a connecting member 17 is fixedly provided at the lower end of the main center rod 3.
- the connecting member 17 is provided, at an end thereof, with an axial through hole extending in an axial direction of the connecting member and a radial through hole extending in a radial direction of the connecting member.
- a flange is inwardly provided at a lower end of the axial through hole, and a screw 11 is hinged in the axial through hole.
- the screw 11 is connected with the sub-center rod 5 through threads.
- the radial through hole is provided at one end thereof with a chamfer and at the other end thereof with a plane extending in a radial direction of the radial through hole.
- the sub-center rod 5 is screwed to be displaced relative to the connecting member 17. Then the sub-center rod 5 is rotated within the plane formed by the connecting member 17 and the sub-center rod 5, such that the sub-center rod 5 is in contact with the chamfer end face of the radial through hole of the connecting member 17. Then the sub-center rod 5 is screwed in an opposite direction to lock the skeleton. Thereby the skeleton is supported in the inclined manner, meanwhile the inclined supporting strength is ensured, a state in which the skeleton collapses suddenly is avoided and the usage safety is further increased.
- the inclined supporting mechanism may be further operated to increase the inner space of the umbrella or the canopy that can be used.
- Fig. 8 is a schematic view showing a state in which the sub-center rod according to the present application is folded at 90°.
- the sub-center rod 5 is screwed such that the sub-center rod 5 is distanced from the connecting member 17 at a distance. Then the sub-center rod 5 is rotated such that an end face thereof is in contact with the plane on the radial through hole of the connecting member 17. Thereby the sub-center rod 5 and the connecting member 17 form an angle of approximately 90°, which further reduces the space occupied by the skeleton. Meanwhile, the structure can lock the position of the push handle 4 to some extent such that the working status of the umbrella or the canopy is more stable. The above structure is more widely applied to the canopy.
- the skeleton further includes a joint 12.
- the joint 12 is provided at a central position thereof with an internal thread for connecting with the screw 11.
- the joint 12 is connected with the sub-center rod 5 in an interference fit manner or via a pin.
- the screw 11 may be connected to the sub-center rod 5 through the joint 12. Where a connection problem occurs between the screw 11 and the joint 12, it only needs to replace the join 12, and it does not need to replace the sub-center rod 5, which reduces the maintenance cost.
- the main supporting rod 1 of the skeleton is generally longer. In order to decrease the dimension of the skeleton in a shut state, it needs to make improvements to the main supporting rod 1.
- the main supporting rod 1 of the skeleton may be configured as a telescopic rod. Thereby the length of the main supporting rod can be reduced through the telescopic structure.
- the main supporting rod 1 may also be configured as a foldable structure.
- the main supporting rod 1 may include several segments of supporting rods, the number of the segments may be determined according to the practical application.
- the main supporting rod 1 will be described by taking the case in which the main supporting rod 1 includes two segments of supporting rods as an example.
- Fig. 9 is a structural schematic view of a first main supporting rod and a second main supporting rod of a skeleton according to the present application.
- the main supporting rod 1 of the skeleton includes a first main supporting rod 1a and a second main supporting rod 1b, both of which are hinged with a connecting casing 16.
- the connecting casing 16 is located below the middle connecting piece 7. Where it needs to shut the skeleton, the first main supporting rod 1a and the second main supporting rod 1b are folded, to reduce the space occupied by the main supporting rod 1 in the shut state. Thereby it is convenient to store or transport the umbrella or the canopy.
- the sub-center rod 5 may further be configured as a telescopic rod.
- the supporting height of the skeleton may be adjusted according to different application occasions, which further improves the utility of the skeleton.
- the numbers of the main supporting rod 1 and the sub-supporting rod 8 according to the present application are generally 4, 6, 8 or others. Different numbers of rods may be used based on different functions to be obtained. Meanwhile, the lengths of the rods may also be changed to obtain a plurality of skeleton structures.
- an umbrella including an umbrella fabric and a skeleton fixedly connected with the umbrella fabric.
- the skeleton is the skeleton described above. Since the above skeleton has the above advantageous technical effects, the umbrella having the skeleton should also have corresponding advantageous technical effects, thus the umbrella will not be described in detail herein.
- the skeleton is the skeleton described above. Since the above skeleton has the above advantageous technical effects, the canopy having the skeleton should also have corresponding advantageous technical effects, thus the canopy will not be described in detail herein.
