Definitions
- the invention relates to the production of hollow concrete slabs constituting prefabricated elements used for the construction of a building such as a collective building.
- the invention relates more particularly to the insertion in a hollow slab of sleeves for receiving vertical uprights of metal railings formed in their lower portions of tubular metal elements, and which are maintained having their lower portions fitted into these sleeves .
- guardrails are installed on the construction site of the building once the hollow slab has been put in place: the uprights are then placed in the sleeves to form the base of a railing barrier extending along an edge of the hollow slab.
- the sleeves in which the tubular uprights fit are themselves tubes of larger diameter than the railings and having a length slightly greater than the thickness of the cellular slab.
- Each sheath extends perpendicular to the upper face of the slab: it completely crosses the upper wall, and its lower end is planted in the lower wall of the slab, that is to say, it passes through a part of its thickness.
- the sleeves are implanted during the manufacture of the slab, the latter being produced for example by extrusion of concrete, along a manufacturing bench.
- a hollow slab which is represented in figure 1 by being marked there with a general parallelepipedic shape. It comprises several cells, marked by 2, which extend longitudinally, so that this slab is in fact generally hollow.
- the slab 1 thus comprises an upper wall 3 and a lower wall 4 separated from each other by a series of longitudinal cells 2 which here have octagonal sections, and which extend parallel to each other.
- Implantation involves first driving a steel rod into the upper wall at the location of the sleeve to form a hole, and rotating the rod to widen the hole approximately to the diameter of the sleeve.
- the sleeve is then engaged in the hole thus formed until its lower end bears against the upper face of the lower wall of the slab.
- the operator then taps on the upper end of the sleeve with a mass, to plant its lower end in the lower wall of the slab.
- the implantation of the sleeves according to this procedure is not satisfactory: once the sheath is implanted, the upper wall of the slab is strongly deformed around the sheath, and there is a radial space between the sheath and the inner edge of the hole formed in the upper wall.
- the sheath has its lower end properly planted in the lower wall, but its upper portion is not effectively maintained by the upper wall. It follows that when an amount of guardrail is fitted into such a sleeve, it is not held firmly enough to effectively perform its guardrail maintenance function.
- the object of the invention is to propose a solution to overcome the above disadvantages.
- the vibrating sealing head makes it possible to close the passage hole of the sleeve in the upper wall or concrete vault.
- the principle consists in vibrating the surface concrete so that it comes to fill the space existing between the sheath and the hole in the upper wall in order to carry out the sealing.
- the invention thus makes it possible to achieve a very rigid connection of the sleeve with the hollow concrete slab, which can be sealed to protect it against freezing.
- the precision of the process also makes it possible to improve the orientation of the sheath with respect to the slab.
- the invention also relates to a method as defined above, wherein the vibrating head comprises a series of parallel needles which are regularly distributed along a base circle of diameter greater than that of the sheath. extending perpendicularly to this base circle.
- the invention also relates to a method as defined above, wherein a vibrating tip is used to make the hole.
- the invention also relates to a method as defined above, wherein the depression of the lower end of the sleeve is provided by applying percussion to this sleeve.
- the invention also relates to a method as defined above, in which the vibrations are applied by means of an eccentric vibrator coupled to the body of the sealing head.
- the idea underlying the invention is to improve the quality of the junction of the sleeve with the upper wall of the hollow slab, by sealing the concrete of the upper wall with the sleeve.
- the hole of the upper wall 3 of the cellular slab 1 is made with a vibrating tip 6 which is lowered through the upper wall 3, at the location of the sheath to be implanted.
- This tip 6 which is a piece of metal revolution has a tapered end 7 which gradually fades into a cylindrical body 8 whose diameter corresponds to that of the sleeve to be implanted.
- An unrepresented vibrator is mechanically coupled to the tip 6 so as to make it vibrate.
- this vibrator causes the tip 6 to vibrate in a plane normal to its main axis AX, which corresponds to its axis of revolution and to the axis along which this point is lowered to make the hole.
- the vibrator is, for example, of the eccentric type, comprising a rotary unbalanced member rotating about the axis AX, which makes it possible to generate circular-type vibrations in a plane normal to the axis AX, that is to say a plane extending along the upper wall 3.
- the tip 6 is animated vibrations generated by the vibrator not shown, it is lowered along the axis AX so as to pass through the upper wall to form a hole having a diameter corresponding to that of the sheath to implement, this which corresponds to the figure 3 .
- the hole is formed in the upper wall of concrete still fresh under the effect of vibrations due to the thixotropy of the concrete: when the fresh concrete undergoes vibrations, it liquefies (or fluidifies), which makes it possible to make a hole by simply using a vibrating tip, to limit the collapse of the concrete located in the area around the hole.
- the hole that was made which is marked by 9 in the figure 4 is much cleaner than the hole that can be made with a small diameter steel bar that is shaken to widen the hole.
- the sleeve 11 is then engaged in the hole 9, vertically along the axis AX, and a percussion tip 12 is fitted at the upper end of the sleeve to apply percussion to this sleeve.
- percussions are for example applied with a hammer, in order to drive the lower end of the sleeve into a portion of the thickness of the bottom wall 4 of the cellular slab 1, which allows the sleeve to be sealed in the bottom wall.
- the sheath 11 is in place in the slab 1, as schematically illustrated in FIG. figure 6 : it crosses the upper wall of the slab, its lower end is planted in the lower wall of the slab, and it extends perpendicularly to the upper face of the slab, while having its upper end that stopping the upper face of the slab alveolie.
- the concrete of this upper wall is tightened around the sleeve after placing the latter.
- This vibrating head comprises a circular base 14 of a diameter significantly greater than that of the sleeve 11 carrying a series of needles 16, this base 14 being itself carried by a tubular body 17.
- the base 14 and the body 17 which carries it are elements of revolution which extend along the axis AX being rigidly secured to one another, and a vibrator (not shown) is coupled to the upper end of the body 17 so as to vibrate the assembly of the head 13 by generating vibrations, that is to say mechanical oscillations, occurring in a plane normal to the axis AX.
- the vibrator may be of the type comprising a rotary member having an unbalance and which is biased to rotate about the axis AX so as to generate eccentric type vibrations in a plane normal to the axis AX.
- the needles 16 extend parallel to the axis AX, and they are fixed for example by welding to the circumference of the base 14, being regularly spaced from each other along this circumference or base circle.
- the sealing head 13 is for example made of metal elements 14, 16 and 17 which are rigidly secured to each other for example by welding. As shown in the figures, the needles 16 jointly delimit a cylinder having a diameter significantly greater than the diameter of the sheath, so that the sealing head can be lowered to cover the upper end of the sheath 11, as illustrated in FIG. figure 6 .
- the head is vertically lowered along the axis AX while it vibrates, so as to cap the upper end or mouth of the sheath 11 so that the ends of the needles penetrate part of the thickness of the upper wall 3 of the slab.
- the concrete fluidizes at the upper face of the wall 3 around the sheath 11, and it redistributes spontaneously around the sheath 11 to restore the wall 3 to a constant thickness in this region.
- the amplitude and the frequency of the vibrations can vary as and when depressed.
- a high frequency and a low amplitude are preferred, so as to obtain a "fluidization" effect in the upper portion of the upper wall: the lower portion of this upper wall thus retains its shape. cohesion.
- the various mechanisms namely the vibrating needle, the percussion means and the sealing head can be mounted on a frame animated with vertical movements, to ensure the verticality of the installation of the sleeves.

Description
- réalisation d'un trou dans la paroi supérieure de la dalle alvéolée ;
- engagement du fourreau tubulaire à travers le trou et vers la paroi inférieure ;
- enfoncement de l'extrémité inférieure du fourreau dans une partie de l'épaisseur de la paroi inférieure de la dalle alvéolée ;

figure 3 .
figure 6 .
