- a steam turbine conventionally includes an outer casing and an inner casing arranged therein. Inside the inner casing is mounted one or more stationary blade rings and guide blade carriers. Guide blade carriers are normally placed in the regions having high steam temperature and pressure whereas stationary blade rings are placed after in the regions having relatively lower steam temperature and pressure. Guide blade carriers are typically formed by casting wherein stationary blades are assembled in the guide blade carrier via grooves machined in the inner diameter of the guide blade carrier. Stationary blade rings are normally fabricated wherein the stationary blades are welded in the inner diameter of stationary blade rings.

- the above method of fastening obviates the need for machining the surfaces of the keys for providing the required clearance with the guide blade carrier or stationary blade ring each time during assembly or reassembly, for example, following an overhaul, outage or upgrade of the steam turbine. Further using tapered keys of the above type provides a better transverse alignment of the guide blade carrier or stationary blade ring with respect to the inner casing.
- each of the keys 13a and 13b includes a transverse arm 15a and 15b which is supported over a respective transverse surface 12a and 12b on the inner casing.
- the keys 13a and 13b are inserted to the required extent to obtain the necessary clearance.
- a pair of shims 16a,16b are inserted into the resultant vertical gaps 18a and 18b between the transverse arms 15a,15b and the surfaces 12a,12b after the fitment of the keys.
- the shims 16a and 16b are fastened by bolts 17a and 18b, to provide fastening in the vertical direction Z-Z.
- the vertical gaps 18a and 18b may vary in thickness from assembly to assembly. Accordingly, shims of a required thickness may be inserted into these gaps to provide vertical adjustment to the assembly. Such a practice is less time consuming and more economical than the process of machining the surface of the flat keys for each assembly.

Claims (6)
- Ensemble ( 1 ) de turbine à vapeur, comprenant :- une carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure disposée autour d'un axe ( 4 ) rotorique longitudinal,- un support d'aube directrice ou un anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe disposé dans la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure circonférentiellement autour de l'axe ( 4 ) rotorique, le support d'aube directrice ou l'anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe comprenant un bras ( 10 ) dirigé vers l'extérieur radialement et supporté entre une paire de faces ( 11a, 11b ) de support séparées transversalement de la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure, et- une paire de clavettes ( 13a, 13b ) ajustées à coulissement respectivement entre le bras ( 10 ) radial et chacune des faces ( 11a, 11b ) de support pour fixer transversalement le support d'aube directrice ou l'anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe à la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure, caractérisé en ce que chaque clavette ( 13a, 13b ) est diminuée de manière à avoir une épaisseur variable entre le bras ( 10 ) radial et la face ( 11a, 11b ) de support respective, chacune des faces ( 11a, 11b ) de support de la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure étant diminuée d'une manière correspondante à l'interface avec une surface ( 14a, 14b ) respective diminuée de chacune des clavettes ( 13a, 13b ).
- Ensemble ( 1 ) de turbine à vapeur suivant la revendication 1, dans lequel chacune des clavettes ( 13a, 13 ) comprend en outre un bras ( 15a, 15b ) transversal supporté sur une surface ( 12a, 12b ) transversale correspondante de la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure et dans lequel une cale ( 16a, 16b ) est disposée dans un intervalle ( 18a, 18b ) vertical entre le bras ( 16a, 16b ) transversal de chaque clavette ( 13a, 13b ) et la surface ( 12a, 12b ) transversale correspondante de la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure, cet intervalle ( 18a, 18b ) vertical provenant de l'ajustement coulissant de la clavette ( 13a, 13b ).
- Ensemble ( 1 ) de turbine à vapeur suivant l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel- la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure comprend une moitié de carcasse intérieure supérieure et une moitié de carcasse intérieure inférieure et la paire de faces ( 11a, 11b ) de support est prévue sur la moitié de carcasse intérieure inférieure, et- le support d'aube directrice ou l'anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe comprend une moitié supérieure de support d'aube directrice ou d'anneau d'aube fixe et une moitié inférieure de support d'aube directrice ou d'anneau d'aube fixe et le bras ( 10 ) radial est prévu sur la moitié inférieure de support d'aube directrice ou d'anneau d'aube fixe.
- Procédé d'assemblage d'une turbine ( 1 ) à vapeur dans lequel :- on met une carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure autour d'un axe ( 4 ) rotorique longitudinal,- on met un support d'aube directrice ou un anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe dans la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure circonférentiellement autour de l'axe ( 4 ) rotorique, la mise du support d'aube directrice ou de l'anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe comprenant la mise en position d'un bras ( 10 ) tourné vers l'extérieur radialement du support d'aube directrice ou de l'anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe entre une paire de faces ( 11a, 11b ) de support séparées transversalement de la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure,- on ajuste à coulissement une paire de clavettes ( 13a, 13b ) respectivement entre le bras ( 10 ) radial et chacune des faces ( 11a, 11b ) de support pour fixer transversalement le support d'aube directrice ou l'anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe à la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure,
caractérisé en ce qu'on diminue chaque clavette ( 13a, 13b ) de manière à lui donner une épaisseur variable entre le bras ( 10 ) radiale et la face ( 11a, 11b ) de support respective, dans lequel on diminue d'une manière correspondante chaque face ( 11a, 11b ) de support de la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure à l'interface avec une surface ( 14a, 14b ) diminuée respective de chacune des clavettes ( 13a, 13b ). - Procédé suivant la revendication 4,
dans lequel chacune des clavettes ( 13a, 13b ) comprend en outre un bras ( 15a, 15b ) transversal pouvant être supporté sur une surface ( 12a, 12b ) transversale correspondante de la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure, le procédé comprenant en outre le fait de mettre une cale ( 16a, 16b ) dans un intervalle ( 18a, 18b ) vertical entre le bras ( 15a, 15b ) transversal de chaque clavette ( 13a, 13b ) et la surface ( 12a, 12b ) transversale correspondante de la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure, l'intervalle ( 18a, 18b ) vertical provenant de l'ajustement à coulissement de la clavette ( 13a, 13b ). - Procédé suivant la revendication 4 ou 5,
dans lequel- mettre la carcasse ( 3 ) intérieure comprend mettre une moitié supérieure de carcasse intérieure et une moitié inférieure de carcasse inférieure, la paire de faces ( 11a, 11b ) de support étant prévue sur la moitié inférieure de carcasse intérieure, et- mettre le support d'aube directrice ou l'anneau ( 5 ) d'aube fixe comprend mettre une moitié supérieure de support d'aube directrice ou d'anneau d'aube fixe et une moitié inférieure de support d'aube directrice ou d'anneau d'aube fixe et le bras ( 10 ) radial est prévu sur la moitié inférieure de support d'aube directrice ou d'anneau d'aube fixe.
