  • bite plates In the dental practice, tools for obtaining impressions of a patient's tooth surfaces, which are sometimes referred to as bite plates, have long been known and in use. It could also be a system using coils, magnets, laser beams or optical patterns. In the case of corresponding optical systems, however, measuring points with respect to the lower jaw and the upper jaw may be necessary, and additional stationary cameras are required in the room. Abstract
